It wouldn't have mattered to me if the Ref kicked the ball into City's net himself if I hadn't done a deal with the bookies that City would win. Odds were at 2/1 that City would win and i saw it as a good bet sad

Gervinho has done OK - how many goals has Downing assisted or scored for Liverpool despite his EPL pedigree and £18m transfer fee? How many wingers have produced as much as he has? The boy is still a diamond in the rough - we expect more from him, but he's been very good.
Sire, u know we shouldn't be using other team's buys to access ours, and even of we did it should be any other team but liverpool. I could agree Gerv has done OK,  but that he's been very good? Maybe not. Don't you honestly think Santos wouldnt've scored 4 if he played as winger in 20 games?

By the way, why is Wenger not interested in Ba? Nucca is a 15-goals@least-a-season personality and may want to join a club like ours

TBH, I think Gerv has been a bit of a disappointment. While some may argue that its still his first season in an entirely new league, I think he should have acclimated to Wengerball being a fast and skillful winger. I hope he eventually lives up to expectation but anything short of 12 league goals from him will be unacceptable IMO, so far he has found d net only 4 times and we are half way the season already. Even piss poor Asharvin would return a better goal per game ratio. He better improve his in-box play

@ola pluto,
are you not aware that djourou was injured and was supposed to be replaced? didn't you see when he was supposed to get his second yellow card but the ref overlooked that? wenger lost the match and should kindly accept the defeat. fulham never slacked even at one goal down.
you the arsenal fans will always strive for top 4 finish and not top 1 finish and it is a shame. i was with arsenal fan yesterday and he told me they cannot change their salary structure/policy and i say to him; it is only a fool that does the same thing and expect a different result.
as long as you don't change your policies, always accept what you get from these amateur students.
You expect the club to change its salary structure. What has salary structure got to do with winning trophies? Liverpool pay BIG bucks as salary and has that brought them anything? You cannot claim to know better how to run a business than those at the helm of affairs in a Arsenal that records profit every year. Our target is to finish in the top four with clubs like Manure, City and Chelsea who spend far more on wages than we possibly can.
Its agreed that Wenger is sometimes too shrewd in the transfer market, but our salary structure is fine and we wont change it because some other clubs are dishing out ridiculous weekly wages. Wayne Bridge is on 90k per week at City

Djorou had no cover. But how much cover did Coq have? None. Yet Coq was outstanding. I honestly can't cut Djorou any slack cos he isn't worth it. If the Fulham fans clapped him off the pitch when he was red-carded, its cos they were happy the chance of their team scoring is increased as arsenal is reduced to 10 men.
Wenger should dispose off useless mediocres like Djorou who are neither good going forward nor defending

Djorou could play his heart out, he just doesn't have it. I remember him making just one decent tackle yesterday, every other thing he did had clumsiness and mediocrity written all over. On one occasion, he tried to clear away the ball from a cross and he didn't even know where the ball was when it got to him. He is nothing short of an eyesore.
Squills fault is he came in and we conceded 2. Its not unheard of for a 10 man team to hold on to their lead or at least prevent conceding too many.
We coulda have won yesterday and we didn't and it pains me cos if the totts win their next game (i'm betting on them winning), they will be 9 points ahead of us. TOTTENHAM shocked
Hopefully we will shake this one off but JD doesn't have to play for Arsenal FC

This season, Spurs have been better but I believe we will still finish above them. We are in the second half of the season. Experience of the coaches will come to play IMO. Hopefully, Arsenal will take advantage of slip ups by Spurs and Chelsea.

DJ20 and Squillacci are not in our first team. Djorou has been playing due to the injury situation. I once said I prefer Coq playing at RB to DJ20. I still stand by that but sadly, we don't even have left backs. In seasons past, I have blamed AW for not having enough defensive back ups but this season, weve lost 4 full backs! That's out of the ordinary. Na prayer we go dey pray say our players return from injury on time and we don't suffer again in that area
Brotherly, I think this is our problem. We should not have players who are not even good enough to compete with the first team players. They should not be in the squad. As long as you keep them, you will have to use them when the inevitable occurs (injuries). Per may not be an outstanding defender, but at least he is good enough to compete and he deserves a position at least on the squad.
I take it very personal that Wenger hasn't found a way of disposing the shytt called Djouru at whatever loss. He (JD)is a demoralizing object on his own.
And everytime we loose a game, I find it hard not to blame JDs presence on the filed as the reason we lost. That's how bad I hate to watch him.

is this the point arsenal fans would admit tottenham have been better than arsenal this season?
Totts have been FAR better and as much as I hate it, I honestly think they deserve to finish ahead of us. They seem to have gotten over the inability to bury games and that is our Achilles heel.  Plus they dont have to parade imbeccyls like Djouru and Squillachi

Ramshit should be playing with my balls  angry

What a horrible way to start the year. We are better than this.
^^
With due respect, i dont think we are better than shytt. And we will never be as good as the delusion makes it appear as long as we have Djourou, Squillaci in  our squad.
Our overall play today was shambolic. A very torturous 90+ minutes for me. Fulham deserved to win and could have won by a bigger goal margin but for illuck. I am happy they got three point cos we were just unbelievably poor.  Our defensive play was just unforgivable and it tells a lot that Coquelin was the best defender.
As usual, I personally pick on Djouru who is just the most disgusting object I have seen on TV. Wenger must be a serial w@anker as they say for expecting any good from a defense with Djouru in.
Gerv, Walcott all had a day to forget but they kept us in possession and once they left we hardly held the ball for 5 consecutive seconds.
Arsenal is the only team with a bigger probability to lose a match when a goal up, than when the scoreline is a draw.

Let the discussions begin for the year.

BBC's gossip column has it that Theo Walcott is holding out for a 85,000 pounds/week 4 year deal. He is doing a pretty decent job but I think he still has a very big room for improvement and he should be OK if arsenal offer him circa 70k/week. A player on 80k or more should be fairly consistent and should have a goal chance conversion rate higher than Walcott does presently.

I'm still getting flashes of his one-on-one miss in yesterday's game (even though its so last year)

About gooners hoping for a top four finish,

People will always seek out problems for themselves even when there really isn't. How can someone realistically expect Arsenal to finish top of the table come the end of the season when City, Liverpool, Manure and Chelsea all consistently outspend us? What are the odds that all these 4 teams will capitulate in the race for the crown in one single season giving Arsenal an easy ride to the premier league trophy?
It is only SANE to hope that we finish top four (not ruling out the possibility of winning the trophy which could happen) knowing fully that there are SIX world-class teams in the league.

We are still one of the biggest football teams in world football, but our local league trophy is now an item for sale and we cannot compete with our rivals. The quality of our team is still high so we are still a huge force to reckon with and expecting a top four finish in a league containing the modern day Chelsit, Manure and Manshitty and has nothing to do standards falling.

If all our security bodies have to offer is to cajole stories instead of proactively fighting BH, then we are hopeless as Nigerians. The sect is increasingly fearless and more ruthless and have succeeded at instilling fear in the mind of the average Nigerian.
Nigeria is said to have one of the strongest land army and we can't curb BH. Shameful. We are a disgrace and GEJ should be ashamed. He should have deployed soldiers to clear this mess before the bloodshed became this bad.

Very painful loss sad. To think Wenger followed my recommendation of starting Benayoun ahead of Ramshit and we still didnt get the three points.

I think all the players bar Djouru really played very well but the Wolves goalie was really on some other ish. We would have gone third on the table had we won  sad. Tottenham is sure to beat Norwich and the gap will winden.
I kind missed Walcott today though.

RvP is definitely desperate to equal Shearer's record but he is trying to play for the team at the same time and he isn't doing bad at all. Such is his class
