ritchboy: I never described Park as a "quality" player, i said he was one of the best forwards in Ligue 1, and i don't think there are too many "quality" forwards there. You on the other hand made the most absurd comment of 2012 to date when you called Saha a "top, top player".
Arsenal don't officially disclose transfer figures so it depends on your source. In any case it doesn't affect how stewpid your argument that Park can't be a good player because he cost just 3m euros is. Using your daft logic RvP must be equally useless and Andy Carroll is world-class.
How someone who knows so little about football arrives at these conclusions is amazing. I'm sure you can't tell me anything tangible about the likes of Livermore if i asked(what's his natural position, what are his qualities/weaknesses what does he even look like?). You just assume the grass is greener on the other side by default. Is it not the same Spurs that have Nelsen, Kranjcar, Giovani, Gomes, Bentley etc on their books? You know so much about footie, yet compare Saha with the likes of Chamakh/park!! Whatever you're smoking is really distorting ur thinking. Only pathetic deluded fans like you won't admit that the Spurs have a better squad than we do. So much gap between us on the table at this stage in the season and reality is still beyond u. I rest my case. Live a lie |

ritchboy: FYI, RvP cost Arsenal less, and Carroll cost 35m. Andy Carroll must be a world beater then.
See how you've outed yourself as a 5-star moron in one fell swoop. . . Tottenham have had the luxury of playing almost their strongest XI most weeks, and to you that's evidence they have a better squad than Arsenal?
Your cranial cavity must be occupied by unicorn shyte. You don't have any reasonable point. The tottenham squad players cannot be any worse than the likes of Djorou, Sqillaci,Ramsey, Arshavin and Fabianski |

Ibime: Theres no comparison between the Tottenham defence and Arsenal defence. Only Arsenal defender that can make Tottenham defence is Vermaelen. Sagna and Kos very well will. But ritchboy's delusion is mind-boggling. If Arsenal paraded 27 different players in this campaign alone and Tottenham have showcased nearly the same 11 in as much time, yet still lead us with 12 points after 23 games, what does that tell us? It says our numbers are crap!! We have a WEAK squad. Injuries is no excuse for failure cos its part of the game. Injuries is why Tottenham have the likes of Saha as a back up while we keep Park (a 'quality' striker that cost like 2.5M pounds) in case RvP gets injured. |

Saha has been crap for how long now? Lol. Park was relatively a nobody before coming to Arsenal. And irregardless of his record or how high you rate him, he is nowhere near the quality of Saha. You definitely didn't know Saha before he arrived at Everton. |

Arsenal THIRD team: Almunia; Eastmond, Squilaci, Miquel, Yennaris; Couquelin, Henderson, Ozyakup; Arshavin, Henry, Chamakh;
What's the use of a second and third team of players like Chamark, Park, Squills, Ramshit, Almunia and Djorou.

ritchboy: I was referring to Dipo's comment about Saha, Dawson, Defoe, Sandro etc being "top, top players" when all of them will struggle to make Arsenal's bench.
United have arguably the deepest squad in the league, and the conversation has nothing to do with United, pay attention!
No one woulda predicted Spurs will be well clear of Chelsea and Arsenal at this stage of the season, it's an anomaly. I'm not trying to take anything away from them, they deserve to be where they are now. What i can't stand is people making retarded comparisons with Spurs and Arsenal.
A top player with one league goal by February? *Jay-Z voice* Pardon me i had to laugh at that!
I'd take Park and Chamakh over Loius Haha everyday of the week.
Everybody has injuries. The fact is Tottenham have had better luck with injuries than Arsenal this season, but that's besides the point.
Ho ho ho, which strength in depth?
Spurs' second team: Gomes; Kaboul, Nelson, Dawson, Rose; Kranjcar, Sandro, Huddlestone, Giovani; Defoe, Saha;
Arsenal second team: Fabianski; Jenkinson, Mertesacker, Djourou, Gibbs; Diaby, Ramsey, Rosicky; Chamberlain, Benayoun, Park;
Arsenal THIRD team: Almunia; Eastmond, Squilaci, Miquel, Yennaris; Couquelin, Henderson, Ozyakup; Arshavin, Henry, Chamakh;
There is CLEARLY more quality in Arsenal's second team and i couldn't even be bothered to imagine what Spurs' third team would look like.
And you are basing this on a solitary example? What about Carrick? Berbatov? Of course it would seem Tottenham hold on to their top players to you because compared to Arsenal they haven't really had any top players to attempt holding on to! I really wanted to read through you post but when you said you'ld take Park/Chamakh over Saha, Park over Saha! Bros are u high? |

Its funny how many fellow Arsenal supporters are living typing in denial. Tottenham have finished just below us the the last two seasons and are currently 13 THIRTEEN points above us with just 15 games to go and a squad we CANT compare ours with. Thats INTENT, enough to displace a torpid Arsenal. I hope RvP continues banging goals like this, else we will be in the soup |

Great move for Saha. If the injury demon would spare him, he is sure to score good number of goals at Totts. Tottenham doing so much to lay claim to a top four ticket while Arsenal doing little or nothing
Saha, vDv, Modric, Friedel, Parker, Bale, King, Dawson, Defoe, Dawson, Sandro are top, top players good enough to win. Same can't be said of the present arsenal crop |

suggary: 8 years of fornicating and didly dadling and now he is bored. Of course! I blame all those women who have no self respect. They keep giving a man their body for free. Any man who trully loves you will not want to desecrate your body until he has made you his legal wife. se/x has nothing to do with love. Any man that claims you do not love him because you refused to open your legs is a fraud. As a woman, you owe no other man your body other than your legally married husband. The sooner women learn this, the lesser their chances of suffering a major heart break.
