display is not bad. Screen is not IPS or super amoled but the ppi is decent. Games ran fine

3>camera and words of advice
Phone camera is poor in low light flash is almost useless in dark environment(normal thing with China OEM)
Outdoor pix are not too bad. But dont expect same thing you will get from E3 or phantom A+ with 8mp
P2 comes with a 5mp back camera, front is 0.3mp.
My advice if you have 14k-16k and want an entry level droid i think gionee p2 will do the job. I can compare this phone with tecno n7 sold at 29k at my place even till date. Only difference is screen size.

2>phone Memory ups and down
Well this is another aspect the OEM did well. The phone has 1.9gb of storage for apps.(unlike most china android phones that come with 200mb or lower) with an app storage memory this big you can install all your apps without worries of rooting or partn of your memory card to support app storage.
The Bad thing is you have only 500mb of internal memory to store other user data like musics and videos( but who cares when the phone comes with 8gb external memory card for that job).
RAM is 512mb on clean boot i got about 300mb free RAM which is not bad for a phone runing on android 4.2

>ans: battery life is fine to me. After full charge on maximum screen brightness profile. I installed some games and tested. Games include fifa12, amazing spiderman, temple run oz and FL commando, i played all temple run and FL commando for about 1:30mins and also was tempted to checkout the new OEM preinstalled xender app which i didnt think twice before i ported a copy to my e3(lol). for the next 30mins i transfered apps from my e3 to the p2. After all the play still got 85% of battery.

As for non removable battery thats a big lie. See some pics of the P2 hardware.

am back for the review. Note i was unable to go too deep into test running on this cute phone cause its not mine i only helped a client to order from abuja. But want to clear the air of any false impression team tecno have created on this thread and every other gionee thread.
N.B i have helped people around me with configuring tecno p3,L3 and M3. I must say this phone has got more features. The gionee customised android 4.2 rom on p2 is even more stable and cooler than the one on my e3(that is to say gionee is really working hard to deliver what nigerians want.).

I followed all the steps, the only thing I didnt do was flash it with the battery inserted the first time, maybe that where the problem is but after flashing several times with the battery inserted I reckon it should have fixed itself.

First of all try to relax. I have flashed Chinese firmware before. Maybe na this same feeling the cause your troubles
