You're a programmer? is projectnaija your site. if yes then you have done a great work. Congrats.
I'll love to have you as a mentor. I'm going into programming next year and I intend to own a tech blog. I'm passionate about computer. I did marine engineering in my OND and considering going for computer science instead of going for HND in marine engineering.
I have a decision to make. what do you think?

I built projectn...
I won't mind to guide you in any way I can.
About studying computer science, you don't need a certificate to be a programmer. So if you have passion for the other stuff too you can continue with it.

Fongido:
The laptop you suggested pls can I use it for software development? I'm much interested in app development

YES you can. Make sure it's not the Amd edition. Check it to see if there is intel logo on it.

sicobamty2:
beIN will be there.

just learnt your images are for Kwese! Why confuse people?

crowntoro:
what of Intel celeron?

Manageable for web development but you won't enjoy android development (android studio) should you ever find the passion to do that in the future.

sicobamty2:
TSTV is around the corner...

e be like say you be insider, what's your plan for beiN sports? Cause that's the only reason why I want to buy.

Fongido:
Thank you. please suggest the laptop I should buy for me.
I'm interested in web development and software development

That's hard. Most of laptops on jumia are expensive and with specs that don't make much sense. But if you can find HP 2000 for less than 90k brand new, it will be a good deal.
Second hard around 45-52k, not bad.

Like those fake apps
Can now say they inspired this technology.

Love tech?

What's your budget? If you want to start with web development (php/node.js/general javascript). A regular laptop with 4GB RAM and a minimum of Intel Pentium(R) process will be more than ok.

Avoid Older Amd processors. Even if it's QBASIC you intend to learn.

lucarella:
In summary, there's no hard and fast rule to ranking on search engines. Keep doing that blogging but please take away the mindset of making money off it when you could become an authority in your field. Do it because you love it.

If you'd like to be mentored on how to grow ranking on your websites, send me a message. I'll be glad to help

Mobile banking is becoming more and more popular in Nigeria. I was at an event in November and it was stated that transactions worth over 1trn naira has been carried out using USSD.

USSD is the easiest way to carry out Mobile banking transactions in Nigeria without the worry of internet subscription and connectivity. Once you have network to make and receive calls you can access USSD services for free. You don't need a smartphone too, that's another cool thing about USSD, any phone that can dial let's say *556# (check mtn balance), can perform USSD Mobile banking.

All mainstream banks in Nigeria have their own unique USSD codes for carrying out transactions. E.g *737# for GTB, *901# for access bank and *901# for stanbicIBTC and so on.

Remembering these codes can be stressful if you have multiple bank accounts with different banks or you just started using your bank's USSD service. In order to address this, a Nigerian software development team built an app called USSD Banking, the app lists all Nigerian banks and their latest working USSD codes.

The app has other cool functions like "Share code" which let's you share any USSD code with your friends when they ask you for assistance with codes. You can also copy codes to your clipboard or push them to your phones dialer directly without typing them manually. The app works without internet hence saves you the stress of checking Google for codes.

You can download the USSD Banking app from Google play store using this link:
