Within Islamic societies, non-Muslims, particularly “People of the Book” (Christians and Jews), were allowed to practice their religion freely and follow their own legal systems concerning personal matters like marriage, divorce, and inheritance.

They have been able to recruit and manipulate young people primarily due to the country’s high unemployment rate. Many African countries are now grappling with terrorism, much of which is supported or encouraged by the West as a means to destabilize those nations. Your misunderstanding of our challenges is clear—you have chosen a convenient but inaccurate explanation for our country’s predicaments.

Shariah is the product of the will of certain Muslim-majority states; it is not imposed on non-Muslims. If a non-Muslim appears before a Shariah court, it is usually because a Muslim party involved in the case wishes for the matter to be settled under Islamic law. Any party can summon you to the court of their choice, but if you are dissatisfied with the outcome, you have the right to appeal. Shariah is not solely about harsh punishments like beheading or amputation for theft; there is much more to its legal and ethical framework, and greater understanding is needed.

You must begin by declaring Sharia illegal in every state in Nigeria.Nigeria is a secular state and we should all be governed and binded under one constitution.

You must put an end to open grazing and make it punishable by at least 10 years in Prison.There must be equity in the arm force.I am sure USA will respond soon by their own demands.

Yarima isn't the issue here. Some northern states chose Sharia, but it's optional, not forced. Forcing religion contradicts Islam, as the Quran (2:256) states, "No compulsion in religion." Majority of the so-called jihadists are ignorant of Islam, they are merely unemployed, radicalized extremists. Their actions often differ from their words, as they're hired to destabilize areas under the pretense of jihad, usually driven by their employers' political interests.

When the crisis ends we need to sit down and negotiate whether to stay together
Part of the crisis is Sharia law. If that is not removed we should not pretend we have a country because state police will become Sharia police



We should fix and expand the federal police to make them more professional
Decentralisation does not have to mean state police we can have a police force with an IG for the geopolitical zones
And a Mobil police for emergency for the whole country
Currently the Nigerian police are not trained poorly paid undisciplined and even criminal. State police will not fix that

Let me tell you what you people don't know.
In as much as I want all the Islamic terrorists and Fulani terrorists wiped out including there sponsors by the United State in the North, there would be a big humanitarian crisis in the South too and that's the fact.
There is no law stopping the movement of people from the North to the South in Nigeria including the disguised terrorists. They will move down south to find shelter. We are talking about 250 million Nigerians here.
Is the South ready for this infiltration and the consequences it will bring? Is the South ready to take care of the Northern immigrants because you cannot stop them from free movement.
