There's nothing called slavery in this. toks is 1.6m agreed but is he paying outrightly? he is paying over a period of 18months. If the car is a sharp tokunbo, he should jump at it cos such deals are rare. To even think that owner shares maintenance with him is a plus.
Not Not good deal

Possibly faulty ball and socket joint on suspension, or torn rubber bushings on lower control arm. Have it checked, fixed before doing alignment
Most culprit is the lower arm bushing

Business / Re: Does Your Network provider Charge You For Transacting With USSD Code? by disloman(m): 12:51am On Jul 11, 2018

If it is airtime that is been charged, such charges are from your service provider. However, if the charges are been deducted from your bank balance, then that is from your bank.

That N10 charge is common on my Access Account whenever I check my balance. I'm not so sure of recharge because I rarely recharge from the account.

However, no charges of any sort on my UBA account.
Ogade! The guy is talking about the use of USSD code. Not bank charges. Airtel started charging their customers since January 1st whenever you nake use of the USSD code on their network

It started since January 1st this year.

Car Talk / Re: Is It Safe To Top-up Engine Oil When The Level Has Gone Low? by disloman(m): 10:18pm On Mar 08, 2018
legalwealth:

My engine can never knock; you can as well ask the other guy on this thread that said he bought a car from someone using the same spec of oil
which he also continued using has seen his engine knock. Don't forget I said that there are other things aside engine oil that need attention. Some things like Catalytic converter, 02 sensor etc in the sense that if one is even using manufacturer specific oil and those things are not in place or in good condition or working perfectly, engine can knock at any time.

Not using manufacturer specified engine oil is not the major cause of engine knocking for those that don't know! !!
Okay.
Car Talk / Re: Is It Safe To Top-up Engine Oil When The Level Has Gone Low? by disloman(m): 2:47pm On Mar 05, 2018
thebigkendo:

Oil shortage is caused by leakage..leakage could be internal or external..
For external leakage: you will see oil under/around the engine bay
For internal leaks: Engine oil finds it way to the combustion chamber and is burnt with air-fuel mixture, Most times the cheapest fix for internal leakage is to use a higher viscosity like 20w-50(mobil xhp) but you are already using that.

Clean ride i must say, but the fact that you use mobil xhp(20W-50) instead of manufacturer recommended 5W-20 is "lacking adequate maintenance" and then running the mineral 20W-50 for 5000miles. Anyways am sure your Oyingbo mechanic who recommended Mobil xhp for 5000 miles knows better than Honda.

Lol! The car has never failed to start for once since 2 years because I give it good maintenance. My mechanic that services it is in Oyingbo! !!
Stop it pls.Till the engine knocks, you will know that you are in trouble.I pray it happens while you are the one driving.

Better than the previous administration? Lets see...

1) ANTI CORRUPTION: Under "corrupt" GEJ, Nigeria's position appreciated by 8 points in the 2014 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index, giving Nigeria its best performing score TILL DATE.
Under "Mr Integrity" Buhari, Nigeria has slid down the ranks in the 2017 Transparency International Corruption Perception Index, making us one of the MOST CORRUPT NATIONS.

2)ECONOMY: Under "corrupt" GEJ, Nigeria became the largest economy in Africa & one of the FASTEST GROWING in the world with a growth rate between 4-7% and a single digit inflation rate, thus making Nigeria the choice destination of foreign investors thanks to its fast/short RoI
Under "Saint" Buhari of Duara, the economy stagnated and later plunged into recession. For the first time we experienced our economy contract with the nation recording a NEGATIVE GDP. Over 2 million jobs have officially been lost, a considerable number of small-medium businesses have fullypacked up while bigger businesses have left our shores ro greener pastures no thanks to the highly toxic climate the incompetence of team Buhari has created. The hardship is so unbearable, IMF just released that Nigerians are actually getting POORER. No wonder cases of depression is on the increase.

So bros tell me, who is fooling who? You better wake up from lalaland.
