Her cousin's husband starts acting weird when she arrives; at first he completely ignores her and next, he becomes fond of her so much it looks like they are having an affair. Can they keep on being just normal friends or is something else going to happen between them? And what is Lancelot's big secret that makes him feel love for Jane?

A Chance For Love by Darkcrisp

https://www.nairaland.com/3868052/chance-love-twisted-tale-novel

Summary
Victoria Brown lost her father four years ago. Her stepmother and her stepsister are bent on making her life miserable. Turning her into a pitiful maid, they force her to live a modern day reenactment of Cinderella. But they don't know that where there's a Cinderella, there's a Fairy Godmother and a Prince Charming who would do anything to bandage the damage in her life.
When an arrogant new student shows up in class, Victoria hates him at first sight. She seeks to avoid him, but finds herself partnering with him in solving a mystery revolving around a ghost. And against her will, sparks fly.
Life takes a turn that rips Victoria off her innocence and places her stepmother as her footstool. Once, she'd wanted a chance for love, but all she wants now is revenge. And not even her Prince Charming can stand in her way.
Will she follow her heart and let love win, or will she follow her head and be a slave of vengeance?

In between, the antispam bot issue in this section is quite frustrating. I sent complaints which weren't even regarded.
Thanks. We'll try to do better henceforth.

In as much as it is your opinion, the guys writing stories should finish their stories. There are a lot of unfinished stories here on nairaland. When are we going to do something about it?
These days, I don't even touch any of those stories you guys push to front page, unless I am sure that the author is not an author of unfinished business. Before I read w new author, I make sure the work has been completed cos it is frustrating
Our new order now is to pick only new writers whose work are finished or veterans who are known for their regular update.
