This is a wicked advice. Why not let us raise the competition by allowing writers that have won before get a chance to be voted for again. I.e after three months of winning, any writer that has won before can be voted for again.

It's not a crime, only that it is not always healthy

Nice work boss but why did you change the narrative at the end from 1st person protagonist to 3rd person omniscience.

There is an obvious point you're trying to raise in this post. It is to criticise a work owner without letting others know about it, but I believe it isn't a very good idea. Why shouldn't others who might not have known there were mistakes benefit from the critique?
I pointed out that there are two type of constructive criticism- the secret and open.It is up to the critic to choose his/ her choice.

Constructive Criticism is any criticism that will help the criticized. It is is secret or open criticism meant for the eyes of the criticized alone ( which a few might see and understand).
It's always good to see a person who can criticise without making fuss about it, to see someone that can tell you how to correct your work without showing others.
A constructive critic would tell you to reread your work but a bad one will tell you that it is full of blunders, which even it were true would reduce your morale. That is the secret constructive criticism

However, when a good critic see your blunder and does not to tell you to read your work again. He would point them out to you with possible correction: that is an open constructive criticism.

Boss, whenever I see your topics I always think they are the same topics being reposted. I would, therefore, suggest that you give them different topics

Thanks for the advice on thoughts. It is a problem many writers struggle with. Some guides advice using italics while some disagree.

I learn everyday.

Pls comment on any other issues of the story, if you can. Thanks again
You are welcome, I will

The essence is to prevent a wide psychic distance between your readers and the character.
Not quoting it will make readers feel the thought is theirs- I.e they imagine themselves acting your drama.
when they see the quote, it make them realise they are only readers

If I was banned, I wouldn't be replying you post, and yes I've opened a topic with my alt acct and it graced frontpage and I was banned by a mod in guise of a spam-bot afterwards.
It's not a mod. It's a program. Send a Pm to the mods and they will unban you.

It is the mods handiwork, and why they are doing these is still a misery to me, I can only create a thread in two days. Maybe they don't want me to create a thread again cos my topic is always gracing front page.
That's a notion. It has happened to me before. So, you either
1. Check if you've been banned
2.Do what I say
or log in with someone else's account to see it

hmmm... I feel for nene

please insert a comma between the sentence.
As I walked slowly(comma) my ear....
* It is 'I'm' not 'am'
* There should a comma after the quoted sentences.
* And try to always start new discussion in a new paragraph I.e whatever you want to say after dialogues should be in a new paragraph.
E.G
' "Gather firewood when you return. Let me go and
borrow a tuber of yam from Mama Udozie".(This place should be in a new paragraph) My ear
tinkled at the word 'borrow' because

You are good, I must confess
