ayoku777:

Did I tell you that salvation is by works, or that what we do right or wrong is what determines our righteousness.

You said all our sins, past, present and future have being paid for and forgiven by Christ. And I showed you statements made by Jesus Himself, outlining what will happen to believers who don't repent.

Does that not show you that there is no automatic forgiveness for sins we don't repent of? Or can someone suffer loss at the judgment seat of Christ for a sin that that has been "automatically" forgiven.

Salvation is by faith alone, and we don't lose it unless we depart from the faith. But even so, heaven takes our sins into account and if we don't repent of them, we will suffer loss for them in the judgment of Christ, even though it won't cost us salvation and eternal life, if we don't depart from the faith.

You are wrong that heaven does not take record of the sins of believers. The warning of Jesus to the churches in Revelation proved you wrong.

I'm not saying carnality can cost us our salvation. A carnal christian is called a "babe IN CHRIST" -meaning he is still in Christ. The only sin that can cost a believer his salvation is unbelief or departure from the faith.

But carnality has consequences in this age and in the age to come. Carnality will cost us our crown and demote us in the kingdom of God, among other losses. And if we let it degenerate into unbelief (departure from the faith), it will cost us our salvation too. It is a lie that all our sins are automatically forgiven and written off.

Shalom
@ayoku777, Few points to note, the judgement of sinners is different from that of believers.

Sinners shall be judged unto eternal condemnation (damnation and destruction).

...because He has appointed a day in which He is going to judge the world in righteousness by a Man whom He appointed, having given proof to all by raising Him from the dead. - Acts 17:31 (MKJV)
But the present heavens and the earth being kept in store by the same Word, are being kept for fire until the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men. - 2 Peter 3:7 (MKJV)

The believer, through his good works (not his sins), shall be judged unto eternal reward.

Then the King shall say to those on His right hand, Come, blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry, and you gave me food; I was thirsty, and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger, and you took Me in; I was naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. Then the righteous shall answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry, and fed You? Or thirsty, and gave You drink? When did we see You a stranger, and took You in? Or naked, and clothed You? Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? And the King shall answer and say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brothers, you have done it to Me. - Matthew 25:34-40 (MKJV)

So he planting, and he watering, are one, and each one shall receive his own reward according to his own labor.
...each one's work shall be revealed. For the Day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try each one's work as to what kind it is.

If anyone's work which he built remains, he shall receive a reward. - 1 Corinthians 3:8, 13-14 (MKJV)

...knowing that from the Lord you shall receive the reward of the inheritance. For you serve the Lord Christ. - Colossians 3:24 (MKJV)
Now there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, shall give me at that Day; and not to me only, but also to all those who love His appearing. - 2 Timothy 4:8 (MKJV)

And the nations were full of wrath, and Your wrath came, and the time of the judging of the dead, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and to the ones fearing Your name, to the small and to the great, and to destroy those destroying the earth.
- Revelation 11:18 (MKJV)

where in the Bible is a single epistle written to different set of pple? why will 1 John 1 be to unbelievers and 1 John 2 to believers More John used "we" in vs 9......, is John also an unbeliever

@Toluwani95,
If you check the original Greek translation of that Chapter, you will discover that some parts of the Chapter were written to Believers while the rest were written to agnostic Jews (unbelievers) who don't believe they have committed any sin.
That's why John, who was also a Jew wrote to them in verse 8-9 using editorial 'We'.
For example, if you're a Nigerian and you want to describe Nigerian traditions to an audience filled with citizens of Nigeria, you will start with 'We'.
You can check a Greek Bible to confirm if you're yet to be convinced.
Thank you.

Maser:

You're severely ignorant of what you are talking about. God can never befriend sin. No one preached grace in the Bible like the Apostle Paul, but what he says in

Galatians 5:19-21, "Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness... Those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God".

You may want to check Ephesians 5 also for further enlightenment, "But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you... "

You should have asked Paul if he was sinless when he made those comments. God cannot reduce his standards to accommodate your sexual escapades and fantasies.

Finally: If you want to follow Christ, follow him but if you still want sin, then the consequences are clear in Revelation "Lake of fire".

Please deal with your lust issues before they destroy you. The OP wants us to freely commit sin and do as if nothing happened. In order words, throw up scriptures to suppress Holy Spirit's convictions which pricks your conscience, a satanic recipe for disaster if you ask me.

@Maser, Let me clarify few things in your comment.

You quoted Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are [these]; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told [you] in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

If you read further to verse 24,

And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

You can see from the above scripture that Verse 19-21 was not addressing true Christians but unbelievers because true Christians have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts. How are they crucifying the flesh? By believing and living by the word of God that addresses any work of the flesh in their lives.

Your statement that the OP wants us to freely commit sin and do as if nothing happened is not true. It means you've not been digesting all the information have been passing across through all my posts. As I have previously mentioned, Christians are not encouraged to keep living a life of sin. If you do, the devil will harden your heart and destroy your body (which is God's temple) through the deceitfulness of sin (Hebrews 2:12-13) until you start denying and rejecting Jesus Christ who you've been serving and you eventually end up in hell. That is the ultimate goal of the devil for a believer making a practice of sin; to steal, kill and destroy the life of God in you (John 10:10)

My message is a message of no condemnation God has given you through the finished works of Jesus Christ on the cross to start living a new life above sins, including sexual sins. The same message of no condemnation was preached by Jesus Christ (the author and finisher of our faith) to the woman who was caught in the act of Adultery.

When Jesus had lifted up himself, and saw none but the woman, he said unto her, Woman, where are those thine accusers? hath no man condemned thee?
She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. - John 8:10-12 (KJV)

@Maser, Embrace this good news today and begin to live a life over the deceitfulness of sins.

Amberon11:
You are wrong on all levels.

Note this, Right believing will not bring about deliverance and the empowerment of the holy spirit to flee sexual sins. So what brings about the empowerment to flee sexual sins? The word of God!!

Yes, meditating on the word with all your heart, day in day out and addressing your situation with his word will release the power of the Holy Spirit and help you overcome sin.

@Amberon11, it seems you are yet to understand how to believe right.

The step-by-step process on how to believe right can be found in Joshua 1:8:

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

You can achieve right believing by repeatedly confessing and meditating on God's word until it produce a revelation of its reality in your spirit. This will help you to act it out (that's the empowerment). Then, you will burst into prosperity over sins (including sexual sins), sickness, poverty, addiction, depression, the list goes on and on.

Can you see we meant the same thing, it's just your understanding of how to believe right that is the problem.
That's why all my posts have been supported with God's word for readers to meditate on.

@Amberon11, embrace the good news about God's unmerited favour today, and you will live as kings over all negativities of life (Romans 5:17, AMP)

stop putting words into his mouth. he never said he was righteous. All unrighteousness is sin and all sinners shall have their place in the lake that burns with everlasting fire.

this grace message is perverted. even if everyone sins doesn't make it right. Remember it is written that we should flee sexual sins because all other sins we commit are outside the body, but when we commit sexua sins, we are defiling God's temple which is our bodies.

@Amberon11, A point to note, You're right that all sinners shall have their place in the lake that burns with everlasting fire but it is not referring to believers in Christ who commits sin (by allowing their flesh to to dictate the way to act over their renewed spirit). It refers to unbelievers (sinners by nature) because they have refused to make Jesus Christ their Lord and Saviour.

As long as you've surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, you are righteous by nature. This is not based on your performance or obedience but on the perfect obedience of Jesus Christ (Romans 5:19, 2 Corinthians 5:21 and Isaiah 54:17b). When you believe you've been made righteous by Christ obedience, the Holy Spirit in you will help you to live righteously and people will testify that you are a true follower of Jesus Christ. You might make mistakes sometimes but God will restore you into His fellowship when you come to him.

Also, when you believe who you are in Christ and what He has provided for you through His finished works at the cross, you will be empowered to flee sexual sins. You can't achieve that by just discipline yourself but through the empowerment of the Spirit that comes by believing the right good news of Christ.

When you believe right, you will live right.

This is complete heresy! Absolute error!! Please, if you don't have a deep understanding of God's word, you had better keep mute and stop causing confusion for yourself and innocent readers. Open your eyes wide and read this passage; "Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God"; 1John3:9! That sin/sinner you are quoting wrongly isn't referring to those who have been saved. It refers to those who still haven't been to Jesus for the cleansing of sin. Grace is available to locate them and save/redeem them. Believers are saved by faith THROUGH grace. That's the same grace that the bible says abound amongst sinners. Get it right bro.... And don't be cheated!

Let me also mention very quickly, with the view to balancing things up here, that even the yet committed sin, Jesus died for them. That is why a saint that derail/back-slide can still get back on track. That the efficacy/provision of the blood; to cleanse us from our mistakes/stains/errors/errs/etc.

@Alani86, thank you so much for your comment.

Let me make few explanations about the scripture you quoted in your comment.

Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin, because His seed remains in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been born of God. - 1 John 3:9 (MKJV)

Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin - To be born of God means you've accepted and believed Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. That means you've been born again. When you became born again, your spirit (human spirit) only became transformed. your soul and body didn't get born again. By the way, at new birth, the Holy Spirit makes your spirit His permanent residence, your soul is the seat of your personality, will, emotions and your body is the physical container for your spirit and soul by which you relate with other human beings.
Everyone who has been born of God does not commit sin means in your spirit, it is not possible for you to sin because the Holy Spirit leaves there permanently (because His seed [the Holy Spirit] remains in him).
That's why in your spirit you cannot sin because you have been born of God.

Now as a believer, how can you identify with this truth?

You start by educating your soul, which is your mind to believe this good news (that's what I've been trying to do through all my posts shocked) Your mind will now relate the same information from your spirit to your body until you are now fully conscious of it. Your responsibility is to put to death the desires of your body (just like a physical training exercise) to tally with the information your spirit through the Holy Spirit in you has related to your soul (mind)

As you keep doing this, people around you will testify that you are living a holy life.

For your information, the good news about the wonderful grace of God is not only for believers in Christ, it is extended to everyone in the world.

And He is the propitiation concerning our sins, and not concerning ours only, but also concerning the sins of all the world. - 1 John 2:2 (MKJV)

like seriously! It was as though I did not hear it right at first. The congregation was practically asked to take sin lightly in the subtlest way I have ever seen. Preacherman supported his exhortation with instances of God as being a very forgiving father who would always welcome an offender with open arms regardless of the sin committed. Lobatan shocked
He didn't need to spell it out!

And to my utmost discomfort, he never mentioned a word about punishment for sin, restoration, retribution. Not even 'holiness' or related scriptures popped up. Everything about the message wasn't right!

@naturefellow, if you've been following my post, I said making a practice of sin will harden your heart towards God as a believer. If you keep giving room to the devil through sin, he will eventually cause you to deny the God you've been serving until he succeeded in sending you to hell
I pray that's not your portion in Jesus name.
That's why you need to embrace this grace life to prevent the devil from taking advantage of your ignorance.
When you believe right, you will live right!

Dats Heresy!! False teachings of d highest order, no wonder these so called mega churches go too soft when it comes to condemning sin especially d sins of d flesh (immorality and fornication). Jesus died on d cross to bear d past sins of d world, not future sins. A sinner has to repent, confess and forsake his or her sins to be saved. Pls don't let those so called preachers deceive you, ...He that commits sin is of d Devil....." Once again..."Shall u continue in sin that Grace may be abound?....God forbid..." Let's not twist d scripture.

@obixcel, I'm not going to argue with you on that. The more you study the scriptures and allow the Holy Spirit in you to reveal the truth to you , your knowledge will increase.
If you study the scriptures carefully, the more you sin, grace of God to overcome them much more increases (Rom 5:20)
This is not meant to encourage sinning but to show you God has put the power in you through the help of the Holy Spirit to live above sin.
To be candid, no one is perfect. We're all depending on the grace of God to keep living a life of holiness.
Trust the grace of God today and not your self effort to live holy

[future sin?] Bro ds is a nice write up but ds ur no.4 didn't go well with me, how do God forgive future sin dats encouraging abiding in sin

@amerimex, thanks for the kind words.

All your sins (past, present and future sins) were forgiven at the cross of Jesus Christ more than 2000 years ago.
For instance, if we use over 2000 years ago as our reference point (which it actually is), then all our sins (past, present and future sins) are all future sins to what Jesus did at the cross.

If you can just embrace this truth, you will start pleasing God effortlessly through the power of the Holy Spirit in you.

1 John 1:9 KJV
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Where's d place of confession in all you've written?

@Toluwani95, thanks for your question.

If you check the original Greek translation of that verse, including the whole chapter, (as you know the new testament was written in Greek), that verse was actually not written to believers. But as believers, we confess our sins not to be forgiven but because we have been forgiven.

In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace… - Ephesians 1:7 (MKJV)
Who forgives [every one of] all your iniquities (sins)... Psalm 103:3 (AMP)
their sins and their iniquities I will remember no more. – Hebrews 10:17 (MKJV)

When you confess as a believer, you experience such a great peace in your conscience knowing God has forgiving your sins more than 2000 years ago before you ever committed them.

Also, keep confessing your righteousness in Christ until the whole truth gets into every fibre of your being.

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous. – Romans 5:19 (MKJV)
For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ Jesus). – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (MKJV)

The bible answers most of the questions here, majority of what op wrote is just pure heresy, you cant sin and still be under God's protection and guidiance,

1) What is SIN?- the bible says "EVERY unrighteousness is a SIN.
2) IF A BELIEVER SINS WHERE DOES HE STAND?- the bible says "he that SIN is of the DEVIL ( regardless of you being a believer or not) you cant be in the middle, God hates SIN he detest it, he cant relate with you with SIN in your life it is not in his nature, Jesus didnt die for you to continue in SIN ,committing SIN as a believer is like giving the devil free reign in your life and giving him permission to deal with you as he please, cos sin distances us from God's GRACE and mercy.
3) WHAT HAPPENS TO BELIEVERS WHO SIN- The bible says that "shall we continue in SIN because GRACE abound? absolutely NOT, for the wages of SIN is DEATH , but the gift of GOD is ETERNAL LIFE.
end of story.

@adegeye38,
Just to give more clarity to the points stated in your post:

IF A BELIEVER SINS WHERE DOES HE STAND?
When a believer sins, it breaks his fellowship with God but not his relationship with God. For example, you can be out fellowship with your spouse through disagreement or even sin but that does not mean you are not still married to each other. What you need to do is settle the disagreement and reinstate your fellowship with each other.
In the same manner, when a believer's fellowship is broken with God, what he needs to do is to accept the wrongdoing and come back to his fellowship with God. Still believing he is still righteous through Christ obedience at the cross.

My little children (believers), these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous - 1 John 2:1

WHAT HAPPENS TO BELIEVERS WHO SIN?
He should be sincere with himself that he has committed sin and accept God's forgiveness.
Then, confess and believe that Christ is his righteousness and trust the Holy Spirit in him to help him break every contact with sin.

Thank you smiley You're a blessing!

Titus 2:11

For the grace of God which bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world.

Grace is NEVER an excuse for free fornication. The OP's write up is a load of bullshit calculated to harden people's heart in a life of sin, a life of fucking and feeling alright. A sure way to hell fire! Christ Embassy doctrine...

@Maser, Thank you for your opinion.

God's grace which came to us in the Person of Jesus (John 1 :17) is not a license to keep committing sin but the supernatural empowerment in you to live above it. This is not a doctrine of any denomination, grace is a Person, which is Jesus Christ.

For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ - (John 1:17).

This good news was preached by Jesus Christ himself, great Apostles like Paul and other true followers of Jesus Christ till now with supernatural results following.

According to the scripture you quoted in your comment,
Titus 2:11
For the grace of God which bringeth salvation hath appeared unto all men, teaching us that denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously and godly in this present world.

Yes, the grace of God teaches us to deny ungodliness... But you have to accept and believe what the message is telling you.
In other words, you have to come for class.
When you give up using your self effort to try to please God (and you can't be successful at it), and accept and believe this precious good news God has prepared for you, you will actually live a victorious life over all sins, including sexual sin.

Beautiful. op I want to believe you are a radical grace preacher, and with the above quote I want to equally believe you are a staunch follower of Joseph Prince.

I totally agree with your message. However am always very careful when the message of grace is being preached, lest believers become careless and nonchalant.

Please let's learn to balance it out and not just be complacent. There is still a choice we have to make to avoid sin, this choice brings about a conscious effort which in turn is our works.

Don't misquote me please, we are not saved or justified based on this effort (work) it just shows that we appreciate the provision of grace and would not take the blood of the lamb for granted.

1. Remind yourself of who you are in Christ and what has been made available to you through Christ’s finished work on the cross.

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for possession… – 2 Peter 2:9 (MKJV)
And You (God) made us kings and priests to our God, and we will reign over the earth. – Revelation 5:10 (MKJV)
…much more surely will those who receive [God's] overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ – Romans 5:17 (AMP)

2. Meditate on the truth that you are dead indeed to sin’s condemnation, guilt, judgement and curse just in the same way Jesus died to sin once for all.

For by the death He died, He died to sin… once for all; and the life that He lives, He is living to God... Even so consider yourselves also dead to sin…, but alive to God… in Christ Jesus. – Romans 6:10-11 (AMP)

3. Be conscious of the fact the God has brought you into a position of righteousness where whatever you do (good or bad), God still sees you righteous.

For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him (Christ Jesus). – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (MKJV)

4. Be confident that God has completely forgiven all your sins (past, present and future sins).

5. Keep confessing that Jesus’ obedience (not your performance or obedience) has made you righteous until the reality of this good news gets into every fibre of your being.

For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One (Jesus Christ) shall many be made righteous. – Romans 5:19 (MKJV)

6. Now, you are empowered to go and sin no more and to start living a life of holiness.

…even so now yield your members as slaves to righteousness unto holiness. – Romans 6:19 (MKJV)
For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace. – Romans 6:14 (MKJV)

Note: God hates all sins including sexual sin. I am also vehemently against sin and I am 100% for holiness. Making continuous practice of sin will harden your heart towards God. But you can only overcome sin until you are always conscious of who you are in Christ and the provisions God has made available to you in Him. When you know and believe God has nothing against you because He has forgiven all your sins before you ever committed them, you will lose every desire to indulge in sexual immorality. In fact, the act will be so disgusting to you.

The grace of God is not a license to sin but it empowers you to live above sin. It is even more than enough to overcome sin. We just have to embrace it.
When you believe right, you will always live right!

You are blessed. Happy Sunday shocked

KevMitnick:
This is why there is so much immorality in the church because a certain group of Christians have found a way to numb their conscience. Tomorrow they will repeat the act and feel nothing.
Such a pity
@KevMitnick, This is because those groups of Christians are yet to understand and believe the undiluted good news of God's grace.
When you believe what God's Grace has made available to you, you won't continue to indulge in sexual sin but it will empower you to live above it.
When you believe right, you will continue to live right.
You're blessed bro smiley

So, are you saying its ok to know that sexual immorality is a sin and still go ahead? Since we can always come back to do this
@layla129, First of all, God hates all sins including sexual sin. You can only overcome sin until you are conscious of who you are in Christ and the provisions God has made available to you in Him. When you know God has nothing to hold against you because He has forgiven all your sins, you wont desire to commit sexual sin no more.
Infact, the act will be so disgusting to you. When you believe what God has done for you, it will cause you to live right.
The grace of God is more than enough to overcome sin. We just have to embrace it
Take care smiley

Spirit is willing, flesh is weak
@Aremu01, that's why you have to allow the Spirit of God in you to motify (put to death) the works and desires of the flesh.
More grace!

Religion / Step-by-step Process Of Living Above Sexual Sins In The Life Of A True Christian by DivineSpp(m): 6:13am On Mar 20, 2016
1. Be sincere with yourself

Be sincere with yourself that the devil is taking advantage of you through your engagement in sexual immorality. His goal is to slow down your walk (fellowship) with God until your heart is hardened to the voice of the eternal Spirit in you.

…we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” – Hebrews 12:1 (GW)

“Take heed, brothers, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called today, lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin” – Hebrews 2:12-13 (MKJV)

2. Identify the problem

Do a self-assessment in order to convince your heart that this is a problem you have to urgently deal with through the help of the Holy Spirit.

Come now, and let us reason together, says Jehovah; though your sins are as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall be like wool.” – Isaiah 1:18 (MKJV)

You have to ask God with an open heart that you need his help.

“Therefore let us come boldly to the throne of grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” – Hebrews 4:16 (MKJV)

3. Clarify your goal (What do you want)

Make clear what you want God to help you with. Do you want a partial deliverance where you will be falling back to the same mistake and frequently asking for forgiveness or you want God to give you divine empowerment to live in total dominion over sin?
It is high time you developed a definite goal to break-free from the desire to engage in the sin of sexual immorality.

“…He (Jesus) asked him, saying, what do you desire that I should do to you?”– Luke 18:40-41 (MKJV)

Ask and it shall be given to you; seek and you shall find; knock and it shall be opened to you. For each one who asks receives; and he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, it shall be opened. – Matthew 7:7-8 (MKJV)

“Knowing that when Christ was raised from the dead, He dies no more; death no longer has dominion over Him. For in that He died, He died to sin once; but in that He lives, He lives to God. Likewise count yourselves also to be truly dead to sin, but alive to God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, that you should obey it in its lusts. Do not yield your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but yield yourselves to God, as one alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under Law, but under grace.” – Romans 6:9-14 (MKJV)

4. Be assured you can break-free

Have total assurance in your heart that you can break-free. Do not listen to Satan’s deception that everyone is doing it and it is impossible to live above sexual immorality in this 21st century.
Do a thorough research on people who have successfully broken free from living a life of sexual sin. Check out for testimonies of people who have been delivered from all sorts of sexual sin, especially from ministries preaching undiluted gospel of grace such as Segun Obadje Ministry, Joseph Prince Ministry etc.
Jesus Christ has made you free, so you can walk in freedom from sexual immorality.

“Therefore if the Son shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.” – John 8:36 (MKJV)

5. Confess and believe your righteousness in Christ

You have been made righteous through the obedience of Jesus Christ.

“For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of One shall many be made righteous.” – Romans 5:19 (MKJV)

“For He has made Him who knew no sin, to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.” – 2 Corinthians 5:21 (MKJV)

You just need to be conscious of this gift of righteousness you have received (Romans 5:17) by confessing that you are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:21).
Do this repeatedly every day until you catch the revelation of who you really are in Christ. Within a short period of time, you will find the act of sexual immorality so disgusting to you to the extent that you lose every desire to engage in it.

6. Break every contact with sexual sin

Now that you are conscious of who you are in Christ, take further steps to do away with any association, objects and environment that subject you to the temptation of sexual sin.

…we must get rid of everything that slows us down, especially sin that distracts us. We must run the race that lies ahead of us and never give up.” – Hebrews 12:1 (GW)

“…Therefore come out from among them and be separated, says the Lord, and do not touch the unclean thing…” – 2 Corinthians 6:14-18 (MKJV)

Forms of contact with sexual sin such as keeping bad friends, watching intimate movies or musical videos, listening to intimate audio songs, use of sexually-stimulating dress, use of sexual aids such as Romance-Machines, watching comedies with intimate jokes, viewing sexually motivated TV adverts, exposing yourself to sexually-stimulating environment such as ungodly parties, reading magazines or newspapers filled with unclad or half-unclad pictures, visiting websites where unclad or half-unclad pictures are being displayed, visiting blogs filled with intimate topics and comments, etc.

Trust the power of the Holy Spirit in you to help you break-free from all these modes of sexual stimulation.

“…cultivate your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you both to will and to do of His good pleasure.” – Philippians 2:12-13 (MKJV)

And I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you shall keep My judgments and do them.” – Ezekiel 36:27 (MKJV)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” – Philippians 4:13 (MKJV)

7. Create an atmosphere of God’s presence around you to strengthen your spirit

Having separated yourself from everything that easily lures you into sexual sin, you should saturate your environment with godly things that will help you remain faithful to your commitment to live above sexual sin.
Develop good relationships with people who have the same belief and value on sexual purity. Start listening to spirit-filled songs and watch musical videos and movies filled with God’s love, grace and truth.
Make it a habit to listen to at least one message about God’s grace (unmerited favour) from men of God who are preaching a balanced message of grace. Gospel ministers such as Segun Obadje, Joseph Prince, Creflo Dollar, Andrew Wommack, etc.
As you keep doing this, your faith and resolution to live a life of sexual purity will be strengthened.

“So faith comes from hearing the message
, and the message that is heard is what Christ spoke.” – Romans 10:17 (GW)

“How can a young person keep his life pure? He can do it by holding on to your word.” – Psalm 119:9 (GW)

“I have hidden Your Word in my heart, so that I might not sin against You.” – Psalm 119:11 (MKJV)

8. Be accountable to a mature believer in Christ

Your level of success in life is a function of who are your role models and mentors.

“He who walks with the wise shall be wise… - Proverbs 13:20a (MKJV)

Look for Christians of good reputation and morals you can be accountable to. Provide them with updates of your progress in living a life of sexual purity so that they can give you grace-based words of advice that can help you in this new way of life.
There is more wisdom in learning from experience of others rather than just your personal experience.

“Where there is no wisdom, the people fall; but in the multitude of wise men there is safety.” – Proverbs 11:14 (MKJV)

“Without wisdom, purposes are defeated, but by many wise men they are established.” – Proverbs 15:22 (MKJV)

“For by wise counsel you shall make your war; and in a multitude of wise men there is safety.” – Proverbs 24:6 (MKJV)
