I think it has "POLL" but only supermods have access to it.
No. 9 is for commercial purposes. It's an information for potential advertisers.
While No. 10 is in existence. Visit nairalist.com also owned by Seun.
To add to your list: Let there be "MARKET PLACE" for all buying and selling. Then in the market place, let there be the whole states of the nation so If want to sell or buy any item, I will simply go to the state where I reside and advertise. Not just doing a random search allover the forum. |

paullove1: Hello all, this issue of one introducing him or herself with either my name is OR my names are has indeed generated a lot of controversies/constructive criticism. I could remember when I was still in secondary school, my teachers back then said the proper way to introduce oneself is; My Names Are Ibrahim Ayo Nnamdi. Fastforward to few years later, when I was in level 200 in uniport (NOTE; presently in final year), one of the lecturers taking us on Nigerian constitution said the proper way of introduction is my name is ibrahim ayo nnamdi. So please nairalanders and scholars in the house, which do u think is more correct? "MY NAME IS" or "MY NAMES ARE" HOW do you mention your phone number? Do you say "my phone numbers are" or my phone number is"? |

HAH: the entire civil service is paid by IPPIS so it might be same ignorant officer, furthermore the OP only showed us evidence from VON Yes IPPIS has been paying since 2012. Why is it now that the govt discovered that the civil servants are wrongly taxed? (now that they are looking for a way to tax everything) |
Career › Re: FG Slashes Civil Servants' Salaries Weeks Before Christmas Pix by DjAndroid: 9:21am On Dec 02, 2016 |
HAH: No organization either government or private sector pays tax individually but deductions are made before payment and this is what happened now that they are wailing, because a corrupt or ignorant officer did not do his work in past does not mean it should continue forever, everybody must pay his taxes and pension and NHF are like statutory esusu so I don't know what the fuss about, moreover this only happened in VON which is a small parastatal under FMI Bros it did not happen only on VON. Don't tell me that the same group of ignorant officers has been preparing the salaries of all those involved in this deduction since more than 6 years ago. |

Shome36: ... Thanks for explanation, even though i know some ppl would still not understand The person you are thanking is an ignorant fellow. Civil servants don't pay their taxes personally. Govt deducts all taxes before paying salaries. If there is an error in tax payment, it is the fault of the government not the civil servants. |
Career › Re: FG Slashes Civil Servants' Salaries Weeks Before Christmas Pix by DjAndroid: 9:05am On Dec 02, 2016 |
jusRadical: Please talking nonsense. Civil servants do not pay their taxes directly. The govt deducts their taxes at source.
At source means that their taxes are removed and so also pension, loans, etc by the accounts dept before they are paid.
Many companies do that also.
Stop displaying you ignorance. St Don't mind that Ignoramus. |

seunmsg: Implementing the law properly should not be termed as salary reduction. My salary was not reduced in any way because I have been paying my full tax previously. People should pay their taxes accordingly and stop complaining and misinforming the public. As a civil servant how are you supposed to personally pay your taxes? |

Computers › Re: My Recent Observation About HP Laptop Battery by DjAndroid: 6:19pm On Nov 26, 2016 |
Kexcellency: Am writing to share my experience with everyone here, I recently observed that hp laptop batteries doesnot actually last longer than 1 year, I bought my system last year, this also happened to two of my friends that bought hp laptop too though not the same specifications but they have similar issues as mine, So I want to know if anyone also experiences such. Thanks for your comment. Your observation may be correct but it depends on how you use the battery. You may have unknowingly abused the battery. I learnt here on NL that every battery has number of recharge cycles. That is number of times you can recharge a battery from 0 to 100%. Therefore, you may reach the max in a year or in 3 years depending on how you use it. It is advisable to always plug in your laptop to power supply when in use except on emergencies so that you won't reach the recharge cycle max in time. |
