Dismissing his claims just like that is appalling to say the least. Open your mind to the possibility that it could be true. We should be able to separate our personal feelings from facts. We should be asking questions not just dismiss such accusations just because you don't like the person making it.

That being said, the country doesn't belong to the so called yorubas but to all of us. So they shouldn't let the miscreants push them around. No man that believes in a good cause should allow others push him around irrespective of ethnicity or religion. Just my opinion. Makes no sense to me why they are excluding themselves from the protests against hardship that's affecting everyone including them. They are technically marginalising themselves. The protest is beyond ethnicity.

How the death of your fellow humans is funny that you are laughing is beyond me. We have lost all humanity. Irrespective of what led to their death, we should be condemning this act in unison. Nothing justifies the killing of our citizens especially when unarmed period! Imagine people liking what you are saying too. Am really shocked at what we have become.

In other words, the persons given the contracts to supply the rice to the state inflated the sum of the contract. The persons given the task of distributing within the state didn't distribute all, kept some to themselves for later consumption and sales. The persons task with distributing to wards or local govt are rebagging and selling it.

Another way of making money. Permits has never been the issue. Where are the building inspectors? How trained are the few inspectors, what tools do they have?

Those are the things that they should be looking at.

And why should the builders pay for the govt incompetence? It's the same government officials that gives out the permits to the highest bidders so, why are they not sacking workers?

The govt is doing all it can to stifle the protests. We have seen the police and army issuing statements. We have seen traditional rulers issuing statements, we have seen clerics issuing statements, we have seen some politicians threatening protesters. But yet they say they are not afraid.
Just wait and see the boastfulness of their rhetorics if the protests doesn't take place. Their tones will be different and more victorious.
