BusinessRe: Lagos Plans Establishment Of Five New Independent Power Plants by djustice: 8:36am On Nov 02, 2011
Can they really be called Independent Power Plants if they're been established by the state? Or is this just another wish list on the part of the governor, looking to attract "PRIVATE INVESTORS" into Lagos State?

If it's the former, please call them State Power Plants (SPPs) and stop trying to mislead the world with useless propaganda!

By the way, I do welcome the possibility of adding more megawatts to the National grid, although I tend to agree with a former PDP gubernatorial aspirant, who said that the way forward for Lagos is for the state to invest in completely NEW distribution networks, all underground, avoiding PHCN's creaking infrastructure, on an LGA by LGA basis, and then interlink them, so that the IPPs can have a guaranteed market for the power they generate (100% evacuation). Private IPPs would rush into Lagos, especially if ALL customers were to have pre-paid meters on that grid.

Propaganda does not run a state, as we've seen over the last worsening and worsening 12 years. Action does.

My main point is that PDP is not an option for the peope of Lagos - if they want another party instead of ACN, it cannot be PDP. Otherwise, the "complains" they are making now will turn into crying and gnashing of the teeth in no time. This is what PDP did to states in the SW, and losing the SW has not changed how PDP behaves in other states under PDP's rule and at the center.

The entire point is that while Tinubu may be larger than life, ACN as a party is light-years ahead of PDP. ACN can make corrections, PDP was born ill-formed and cannot be made whole. It is PDP that needs to go down. PDP's strength is its corrupt foundation.

AD went down, not because it was not better than PDP but because of high-level deception.

Do I need to describe to you what PDP did to the states it stole from AD? The people of Lagos needs to remember history and run from PDP. Enough word for the wise.
The more fool you then. Have you not seen the video of the Badagry LG polls announcement, where PDP was declared the winning party by your own LASIEC officials, despite the threat to their lives? Walahi, that woman has more balls in her little finger than all the idddiaaats here and in the ACN licking Tinubu's arse in public and grumbling in secret. Did heavens fall when she announced the authentic result? The people of Badagry, Eti-Osa, Alimosho, Ikorodu, Epe, Mushin and others that voted PDP, are they not Lagosians?

I see the Tinubu god complex is afflicting you too. Better wake up and smell the cocaine. Lagosians have wised up to your tricks and rascality. ACN are the ones who are NEVER likely to win another election in this Lagos State again. CPC and APGA will get more votes than ACN in 2015. And if a rerun is ordered in Lagos Central, Mrs. Tinubu will LOSE to PDP. Go and write this down. So gbo??
Politics"senator" Remi Tinubu's Election Annulled By Election Tribunal. Re-run Ordered! by djustice(op): 10:40pm On Nov 01, 2011
Mrs. Oluremi Tinubu's election was cancelled today at the election tribunal, following a petition brought before it by Dapo Durosinmi-Etti of the Labour Party. Looks like PDP have got this one sewn up, following the fiasco that was the LG elections, still fresh in the minds of Lagosians, especially after today's PDP protest in Ikeja!! Wow!! I thought they said PDP is not popular in Lagos? Come and see crowd, plus massive traffic in the Mobolaji Bank Anthony area. I had to park my car and use Okada to get where I was going. Even Okada sef could not get past them. We had to face on-coming traffic on Mobolaji Bank-Anthony. Hair raising stuff!! shocked shocked

Demola Seriki: Cocaine Pusher

Yekini Bola Tinubu Amoda Ogunlere Sangodele: Drug Lord and Cocaine Addict

Dem fit demself well well. As you can see, PDP have found a way of getting rid of the drug addicts amongst us. Just push them to ACN - Association of Cocaine users in Nigeria!
PoliticsRe: Who Is Richer: Subomi Balogun ( Ceo Fcmb Nigeria) Or Ahmed Tinubu (ex Governor) by djustice: 9:56pm On Oct 31, 2011
Tinubu by SEVERAL MILES. He still makes N10 billion every month, minimum, no-do no-do.

N4.5b from Lekki-Epe expressway per month since August 3rd 2010, and a lucrative 12 year old Alpha Beta Consulting Tax and Revenue Diversion gig that now nets him a minimum of N6b per month! Subomi Balogun can't even touch that.

We haven't even touched income from his hotel chain: Eko Hotel (which he has co-owned with the Chaghoury's since 2000), Oriental (in a forced partnership with WEMPCO Group), Four Points by Sheraton (wholly owned), and a couple of others scattered around the Ikeja axis.

Talk less of upstream and downstream assets of Oando PLC, which he uses Wale Tinubu to front for him. Real estate is another issue in the Lekki axis, with at least two 18 hole golf courses and a stack of estates with an average size of 250 hectares. The smallest one is the one run for him by Prince Eludoyin, opposite Goshen Beach Estate in Lekki - a bunch of terrace houses on a narrow strip of beach front land.

Subomi Balogun for wherehuh?

@djustice. It is better you confirmed your facts before publishing it to the world. Do you have any proof to substantiate your allegations against Demola Seriki, Ade Dosunmu and Tokunbo Kamson? . If you have any issues with any one of them or better still with all of them, why not make a formal report at Police Station, rather than  casting aspersion at them here. Pls note i am not a politician nor belongs to PDP. Always get your facts right. Mr so call djustice
Mr. bedesco abi what is that your yeye name sef, nor be by force to type sontin just because I thrashed your people o. Facts are facts. At the appropriate time, they will open Demola Seriki's bleached yansh for all the atrocities he committed, especially at the Ministry of Agriculture. Abi you think dossier no dey??

As for Ade Dosunmu, dat one na both sides of the coin he get kwanta. As GM of LBIC, he resigned in questionable circumstances, Bola Tinubu has his dossier, hence his lukewarm campaign during the governorship elections. Some have even said he was paid to throw the elections by campaigning woefully. The figure N3.5b keeps recurring in those conversations. Make I nor even start with his problems at NIMASA. When Fashola challenged him on the N150k per day generator at NIMASA, you could see him praying for the ground to open and swallow him whole.

Tokunbo Kamson made his money by over-inflating road and drainage contracts during Marwa's time, combined with his mismanagement of World Bank funds meant for Lagos State Water Corporation of which he was GM when Tinubu asked him to resign. His dossier is also with Tinubu. He was encouraged to run by Tinubu, just as the same man cajoled both Seriki and Dosunmu to run. When Bola Tinubu is finally brought down, a lot of people's political careers and reputations will be in tatters. Mark my words.

If you have facts that are different from the above, feel free to share.

Gbawe:
Abeg , keep your biblical epistle to yourself. Running a foreign account while in office now equates to "standing trial for corruption" in your book? And you have the nerve to direct a sanctimonious rant against others about "numbed sense of objectivity"?

You accuse others of bias yet fail to note your own double standards with how you proclaim the guilt of others when they have not been convicted of any crime. Whether you know it or not, and this applies to the greatest democracies in the world also, it is normal for Party members to show open support for beleaguered comrades. Fashola merely sat with the SANs handling the case. Nothing at all wrong with that.  You should tell us whether he openly deliberated on the case to motivate your emotional tirade above. The PDP are just clutching at straws and you are not different with your kangaroo Court mentality of preempting an ongoing Court case.
Gbawe, I didn't realise you were this far compromised. If a sitting governor expressly disobeys a constitutional provision prohibiting him from operating foreign accounts while in office, it stands to reason that he operated those accounts corruptly. Why haven't you also waited until Obasanjo is proven guilty before you accuse him and PDP of corruption?

I also find it laughable and pathetic that you see nothing wrong in Fashola working as a lawyer for his god, while still occupying the seat of the governor of Lagos State, against the Oath of Office that he took, to the effect that he would not take up any other employment while occupying the office of Governor. How on earth did that charlatan get his SANhuh??

We have tried reasoning with them, but they refuse obdurately to be reasonable. In response to our pleas, they impose themselves on us and steal our votes, claiming to be popular, fraudulently. Would you rather we go out and start fighting, killing and maiming? Praying for them and cursing them are the only sane options left. If they believe in God and His Existence, they would have stopped the fraud ages ago. Instead they bring it here, to the internet, constantly claiming false popularity amongst a people they clearly detest and are exploiting to breaking point.

My brother, if they are not stealing from the people of Lagos State, nothing will befall them. If they are, however, they will be beset throughout their lives by a thousand-fold of the problems that are besieging ordinary, everyday Lagosians as a result of their theft, theft of our money, our lands and our votes, in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen!

When at the end of 4 years we are still stuck at 4,000MW we'll all be here. Let them remove the subsidy - Nigerian's will hurt no doubt, but at the end we know who will lose.
Keep turning blind eyes to police excesses, while protecting massive looters of all colors and shape. That is also Tinubu's fault, I see.

Honest results do not come out of dishonest intentions - that is the law of the universe.

Can't even believe any of you here have mouth to talk. After all the promises about rule of law. But Nigerians were warned that GEJ might just be another "ruse of law" in the making.

Sylva is now free to join ACN, both sides have been singing love songs to one another.
Aganga is a problem. He's not a Lagosian, and he's been hobnobbing with the enemy - Bola Tinubu and Oba Akiolu before and after his confirmation. His not being from Lagos has created serious loyalty problems for PDP in Lagos State, How can PDP claim to be trying to help Lagos when they can just blatantly disobey constitutional provisions requiring each minister to be an indigene of the state he represents on the FEC: S147(3), and then appoint an Aganga who not only was not born in Lagos, did not grow up in Lagos and did not even school or work in Lagos for ONE DAYhuhhuh??

It is fraud, and indigenous Lagosians hate the President for it. Trust me, these things run deep amongst Yorubas. We may be quiet, but we NEVER forget.

You guys like jumping the gun. Nobody has yet to call for GEJ to resign his own fraudulent election. Like all reasonable people, the LAISEC chair has asked aggrieved parties to go to court.

"Arrest","Treason","Jailed", "Clear evidence of his guilt" from watching a 5-minute video. If only that is how u certify elections? There is usually more than meets the eyes. So hold your horses and let the court speak first.
We have prayed for the looters of Lagos' patrimony to make mistakes, and this video, viewed against the express announcement of a different result for Badagry by the Chairman of LASIEC, is clearly one of such mistakes. We have also prayed for pestilence, plague, illness, suffering, painful deaths, loss of all types and general misfortune for those who are looting Lagos and those either assisting them in the looting or covering up for them in one way or the other because they are benefiting from that singular activity of stealing, either "legally" or illegally from Lagosians. It seems you want to join those operating under those curses. Eko-Ile has already collected his own share of the curses. We'll be glad to oblige you, since you are too blind to see or too deaf to hear what that woman is saying in the video, deafness and blindness shall be your portion in short order, in the mighty Name of Jesus. No wonder the PDP people are calling for Justice Adeyinka's arrest! His action in declaring that ACN won Badagry is the same as treason, trying to take over part of Nigeria by means other than that prescribed by the constitution under S1(2).

I support the call. Adeyinka should be arrested, tried and jailed. At least this is clear evidence of his guilt in this matter!

Justice Adeyinka, Chairman of LASIEC was to later announce that ACN won the elections in Badagry. On the evidence of this video, one has to ask Adeyinka where he got his own figures from:

ACN is worse than PDP. Even election results in Badagry and Shomolu that had already been announced were announced differently, first by TVC (owned by Bola Tinubu) and LTV (controlled by Bola Tinubu). The Returning Officers on the ground had announced the PDP as winners in both locations, only for the TVC, sitting on Land Illegally Acquired by Bola Tinubu from LASPOTECH, to announce a different fictitious result. Wahala is brewing in Lagos. Can the compromised Police stop it? We shall see.

If you think this is bad, wait until you see the video of the announcement of the Badagry results by the Returning Officer there. That's when you'll know that Yekini Amoda Ogunlere Sangodele a.k.a. Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a real fraudster, tyrant and criminal, along with EVERYONE working for him, including Babatunde Raji Fashola (who knows if that is that one's real name sef?).

They are all members of a criminal syndicate that has seized and maintains power in contradiction of S1(2) of the Constitution. The RRS Commander, Area Commander of Area A command, the commander of OP-MESA, Justice Adeyinka, Chairman of LASIEC, a large number of LASIEC officers, the Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Orelope Adefulire (she was an INEC officer in Lagos State in 2003, and helped rig Tinubu in then), a large number of Judges of the Lagos State High Court, ALL the Electoral Tribunal Judges in Lagos State, the Lagos State Police Commissioner, ALL DPOs in Lagos State, ALL Area Commanders in Lagos State, the EFCC command structure, ICPC, certain top officers of the Federal Ministry of Finance, the current Minister for Trade and Investment, Olusegun Olutoyin Aganga, the Oba of Lagos, the Baale of Ibeshe in Ikorodu, the Baale of Eyita in Ikorodu, the Elegushi of Ikateland in Eti-Osa, Oba Saheed Elegushi are all members of this criminal syndicate, on account of their having received cash, land or other favours directly or indirectly from Bola Ahmed Tinubu and/or Babatunde Raji Fashola, on Tinubu's instructions.

Tinubu's actions over this last elections will precipitate serious civil unrest in Lagos that may signal the end of the Nigerian State. The Zagreb war started with an innocuous tackle on a football pitch. Gaddafi is gone, despite all he did for his people.
PoliticsRe: Tinubu Refuses To Enter Dock At CCT Tribunal In Abuja by djustice: 12:40am On Oct 29, 2011
But the ACN condemned Lagos PDP for allegedly casting aspersions on Fashola for appearing as one of the more than 25 senior advocates who appeared to defend Tinubu at the Code of Conduct Tribunal in Abuja yesterday.

In a statement by the state publicity secretary of the party, Joe Igbokwe, ACN said the PDP left aside the worst electoral defeat it suffered in the latest local council elections to see if it can make something out of nothing, pursuing rats.

Igbokwe said: “Governor Fashola is a lawyer and a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) for that matter and he understands the implications of his actions and deeds as he does his duty as the Executive Governor of Lagos State. He knows the facts about this case and he understands what is at stake.

“Has Lagos PDP seen the charges against Tinubu? Where is the proof of their phantom charges against Tinubu? Why is Tinubu being tried in Abuja? There are things Governor Fashola knows which little minds in Lagos PDP do not know. Governor Fashola appeared at CCT as a lawyer and not as the governor of Lagos State. That is why he sat where the SANs sat”.
Fashola has breached his oath of office according to Joe Igbokwe. He's not supposed to be doing any other job apart from the job of being the Governor of Lagos State. Do we have a governor or a lawyer employed by Tinubu ruling us in Lagoshuh

It's time to Occupy Alausa.

Seriously, this is a VERY SERIOUS BREACH of the oath Fashola swore at his Inauguration.

Fashola must go!!!
