grin grin grin grin cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy Honestly, you're quite a comedian, aren't you? Who doesn't know about a little something called a joint State and Local Government Account? Why will you come here pretending you don't know that the account in question is where both state and LG Federal Allocations are paid into, and is controlled by the state? You're either seriously stupid, or seriously uninformed, or both, which, quite frankly, is disastrous for someone with your already miniscule brain capacity.

seanet02:
Ignoramus of the highest order! When did Fashola become the one to account for the Local government funds you are adding to what Lagos state goverment collected as revenue?
Obviously you are so dumb you can not differentiate between Local goverment funds and state government funds.
What a colossal waste of scarce resources on your education by your parents.ve you a figure of N45 billion per month. The Federal Ministry of Finance stated in information published in Thisday last week Monday, said they gave LASG N13 billion, and gave the Local Governments in Lagos State N9 billion, making a total of N22 billion Federal Allocation.

Please, I know it's hard, but try to make the effort to put those two remaining cells to use and add N22 b to N45b, and see if it does not exceed my conservative figure of N65 billion. Ignoramus.

I am not really suprised, you are noted for lies. N65 billion in a single month? Na lie go kill you
As I have said before else where, your stupidity is what will eventually kill you. The commissioner for Budget and Planning was quoted in Thisday as saying that the state made N262 billion IGR in the first half of this year, as against their IGR target of N450 billion. Why don't you get your two remaining brain cells working, and divide N262 billion by 6 months. That should, if your nearly-dead brains cells are still working, give you a figure of N45 billion per month. The Federal Ministry of Finance stated in information published in Thisday last week Monday, said they gave LASG N13 billion, and gave the Local Governments in Lagos State N9 billion, making a total of N22 billion Federal Allocation.

I know this estate. It's on the road to Ijebu-Ode from Epe, at the Otedola's home town of Odo-Ragunsin. It was completed over 3 years ago, and this "handing over" is just a political publicity stunt, typical of Fashola, to deflect the argument that he's not built any affordable housing.

Minimum cost of these houses is N7 million. How many people in Lagos can afford that? In fact, how many people in that area can afford that, since it's so far from Lagos that attempting to live there and work in Lagos will be a fool's errand?

Fashola is just an attention seeking incompetent thief, who is helping himself and his boss to the treasury of Lagos State.

Could somebody please help me ask him what he did with the N65 billion revenue Lagos State got in the month of July 2011huhhuh

Didn't I warn you all that Aganga is a shyster, bag man and an incompetent buffoon. Mek una continue sitting there and looking. Better join those of us Lagosians who saw through him from day one. He's claiming Lagos, when he was actually born in Ekiti and is of Sabongida Ora origin. That alone is a pointer to his desperation for office. It's usually a bad sign when someone denies his heritage just to gain political or pecuniary advantage. He is an incompetent minister, and his  disastrous 2011 budget is an indicator of that. Even Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala was horrified when she had the time to study the budget properly.

Sack Aganga now!
PoliticsRe: Fashola Commissions First Of Its Kind State Digital Mapping/geographic Info by djustice: 11:12pm On Sep 13, 2011
Were your stupidity not so pathetic, it would be funny.

In information published in last week monday's Thisday by the federal ministry of finance, Lagos State was allocated at total of N13 billion. The LGs in Lagos State were allocated about N9 billion, according to that same table.

On Thursday, the same Thisday newspaper carried a press briefing by Akabueze, the Budget and Planning commissioner appointed by Tinubu to take care of his personal finances, where he said that the half year IGR figure achieved by LASG was N262 billion. The last time I checked, half a year was 6 months. If you divide N262b by 6 months, you get about N43 billion per month.

Now, Seane otu, if you add the N13 billion LASG Federal Allocation to the LG Federal Allocation, which is paid into a joint State/LG account controlled by the state government, you will get N22 billion. Now, add that to the N43 billion we got above, and you'll find that in the month of July, Fashola, who's rectum you obviously pay homage to daily, did in fact get N65 billion total revenue on behalf of LASG.

Your surname definitely is "thicko"!

PoliticsRe: Babangida's Associate Speculated Coup In Nigeria by djustice: 5:20pm On Sep 13, 2011
It is very possible that Babangida is the one behind this current wave of violence hiding under the twin covers of Boko Haram and MEND. He probably chickened out of the Obasanjo plot, but sees Jonathan as a soft target. I suspect that if the guns were turned on Babangida and a few other Northern Leaders, in terms of prosecutions for corruption, which would see them become practically incommunicado, the violence would stop magically.

Another alternative is that a proxy war could be waged against these specific individuals and ALL their business interests throughout Nigeria, including Glo, if Babangida's money is found there. This guy is a dangerous mofo and should be check-mated asap.

Is it the case that the finances of Seun Osewa as well as those of the moderators OAM4J and Jarus will need to be investigated along with those of the Lagos State Government, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Babatunde Raji Fashola and the LAHA, when the on-going investigation gathers full momentum?

There is an unmistakable pro-ACN, pro-Tinubu, pro-Fashola bent to the editorial activities of the moderators. Threads critical to the ACN group and their prominent members are either deleted or buried in the 5th or 6th pages of the forum, time and again. Critical comments are deleted or even moved to other forums on flimsy pretexts.

I will continue posting in here until you inevitably ban me, then we'll know for sure that Nairaland=ACN.

Meanwhile, Please restore my posts in this thread, https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-758296.0.html , which you deleted. The public deserve to know the truth. Don't hide the fact that the ACN is a party of cold-blooded murderers and thieves.

With all due respect to your positions as moderators, I urge you to allow free speech on this forum, as your behaviour will be interpreted as partisan. I thought this was a free, unrestricted forum, that does not tolerate censorship. I have noticed a pattern where if the comments are not favourable, specifically to the ACN, Tinubu or Fashola, moderators get unduly sensitive.

It is either some of the N65 billion IGR and Federal Allocation that was squandered in Lagos in July went to some of the moderators and perhaps even the owner of Nairaland, or they are ACN members. Please respect yourselves and restore my posts, word for word. Thank you.

Reactions

Meanwhile, an Abuja based Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), the Society for Rule of Law in Nigeria (SRLN), has hailed the Code of Conduct Tribunal over the planned commencement of the criminal trial of Tinubu.

The group described the trial already scheduled to begin on September 21 as a welcome development, adding that; "Nigerians, irrespective of their political affiliations, must begin to speak with one voice against corruption, because it (corruption) has no political party."

The SRLN said in a statement issued on Saturday by its Coordinator, Comrade Chima Ubeku, that with the impending trial of Tinubu, those thinking that they were sacred cows ought to begin to have a rethink.

The group also urged the Federal Government to prosecute Tinubu for alleged perjury, saying; "he lied on oath by refusing to declare the operation of many foreign bank accounts in the assets declaration form CCB-1 he submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau on 6th January, 2004.

"This is a kind of news that gladdens our hearts and we hope that the Code of Conduct Tribunal will pursue the case to a logical conclusion.

"We are also waiting to hear from those bread and butter groups to make the kind of noise that they used to make whenever a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) member is on trial for alleged corruption.

"We want to read editorials in the newspapers against Tinubu as it was done against people like Chief Bode George; former Speaker, Dimeji Bankole; former Delta State governor, Chies James Ibori; among others," the group said.

While calling on the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to also clear the air on the allegations of corruption against Tinubu, which its former chairman, Ribadu, said the commission investigated and that it had 'international dimension.'

SRLN asked; "has the international dimension of the case ended with Tinubu and Ribadu holding hands at campaign rallies?"

In a similar vein, the Justice For All Nations (JFAN), a US-based NGO, called for the trial of Tinubu for perjury, just as it commended the will to start his trial for illegal operation of foreign accounts.

The group noted that since Tinubu lied on oath to the Code of Conduct Bureau on the accounts, he ought to face the music separately.

"Most importantly too, the EFCC must tell Nigerians what has happened to the case against Tinubu, which its former chairman, Malam Nuhu Ribadu, said had international dimension," the group said.

In the statement signed by its Coordinator, Dr. Dada Popoola, the group charged President Goodluck Jonathan to demonstrate to Nigerians that he had the will to tackle corruption, saying, "we are happy that the Code of Conduct Tribunal has woken up to its responsibilities and we urge that this case be diligently prosecuted.

"It is also hoped that the EFCC will tell Nigerians where Tinubu's corruption case files are being kept.

"At least, we are aware that Ribadu said publicly that 'Tinubu's corruption has international dimension and there is no time for the EFCC to tell Nigerians what has happened to that corruption case and its international dimension.

"Tinubu should also be made to face criminal charge for perjury because he lied on oath by refusing to declare the operation of several foreign bank accounts in the assets declaration form CCB-1 he submitted to the Code of Conduct Bureau on 6th January, 2004."

Deuteronomy 7:6 - For you are a people holy to the LORD your God. The LORD your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession.

I am suprised people on this thread have turned this into a numbers game and are talking about who has managed to kill the most of their perceived enemies. These are human beings we are talking about. An eye for an eye will make the world go blind. This kind of attitude will just entrench the never ending cycle of violence.
Yes. I'm sorry to have to confirm it, but you are behaving like a fool.

Have you read the New Testament? Do you know who Jesus Christ sent his Apostles to with his Gospel?

Have we ever had a major Imam, or Sheikh that is Yoruba in Origin? Heck, even the LIFETIME spiritual leader of Muslims in Nigeria is the Sultan of Sokoto a Fulani, who is the head of the SUPREME (yes, Supreme) Council of Islamic Associations in Nigeria.

You will remain a compound fool if you remain a muslim slave of Fulanis and their Arab overlords after reading this, which I've kindly posted again for you, in case you missed it:

We are Allah's helpers and the viziers of His Messenger. We fight people until they believe in Allah. He who believes in Allah and His Messenger has protected his life and possessions from us. Tabari VI:138

"Those present at the oath of Aqabah had sworn an allegiance to Muhammad. It was a pledge of war against all men. Allah had permitted fighting."

Qur'an:9:19

"Do you make the giving of drink to pilgrims, or the maintenance of the Mosque, equal to those who fight in the Cause of Allah? They are not comparable in the sight of Allah. Those who believe, and left their homes, striving with might, fighting in Allah's Cause with their goods and their lives, have the highest rank in the sight of Allah."

The Qu'ran actually says thishuh I'm going to show this to all members of my family who are muslims, so they can realise that there is an ethnic hierarchy in their religion, with them being near the bottom, if not at the very bottom of the ladder. The Fulanis obviously see themselves as close to the Arabs in the hierarchy, and that may very well be the root cause of our problems with them in Nigeria.

This verse explains why they kill Yoruba or any non-Fulani muslims when they start their nonsense.

Jang needs to follow the example of the "core" Northern Governors, who have armed private militias. The Yoruba example is probably better, with a standing army and airforce now in place.

The Fulani and their Hausa servants will only bow to superior force. Take the fight to them in their states. Invade Bauchi and Kano, for instance with a sustained and long drawn-out guerilla warfare, just as the Fulanis are doing in Jos now, link up with the Tivs, Idomas and Jukuns, and organize strikes into Sokoto, Gwandu and Babangida's hilltop mansion, and the attacks will stop.
