You'd better pray for yourself. I have a relationship with God already. You clearly don't, even though you pretend to. God is not mocked though. He will reward you according to your evil deeds - and your propaganda on here is one of them - unless you repent and ask for forgiveness.

I pray YOU reverse yourself from the self-destructive path of mouthpiece-of-the-oppressors you have chosen for yourself. It is the road to perdition, and you are far gone on it. Please, please say Amen, for the sake of your own eternity.

Pukkah:

Having provided evidence that indeed the government announced alternative routes, it becomes very clear that it is a waste of time to dignify depraved lunatics and scoundrels like DJUSTICE with a response to his unwarranted attacks.

It is not everyone that posts here or walks about full-clothed that is a fit and proper person. In fact, some of them (like djustice), rather than reprisal attacks, deserve pity, help, and rehabilitation.

Back to the other normal and sensible folks: what I expect the residents to engage the government on is whether the alternative route(s) is/are satisfactory or they should simply state what they expect the government to do.

I think a screw is definitely loose in your thick skull. Buffoons like you are the reason Lagos is in the mess that it's in, yet you don't relent with your stupid propaganda. A paid newspaper article about an appointee of the main beneficiary of the "concession" is your evidence? Are you too stupid to go and take pictures of your phantom alternative routes and post them up in here?

We who live in that axis are telling you that there are no alternatives, and you're sitting in some cold bedsit in Europe, typing rubbish with your frozen fingers here about engaging government. What the hell do you think people like Adewale Sanni,  Abioye Akerele, Yahaya Dosunmu and others have been doing for the last four years or so?

My friend, just carry that frozen scoundrel brain of yours back to your paymasters, and tell them for us, that on the 18th, we'll know what's what.

Politics / Re: Fulani Herdsmen Kill Many In Benue Communities And Villages by djustice: 1:47am On Dec 09, 2011
Nigerians are so blind and ignorant, they cannot see that what is happening, Boko Haram, Fulani herdsmen, is all part of the same script: A disguised, undeclared war for territory by the Fulanis on the rest of Nigerian starting with Jos, then moving to benue, and then down South, starting with the "armed robbery incidents in Kabba. The war is on, people, and it's time to saddle up and quit yakking. Best way to do this, for southerners now, is to make sure that we take the fight to them, very quickly, and make sure they don't cross into the south.

We must go to the assistance of the middle-belters, or, mark my words, we are next. The middle belt MUST be liberated AT ALL COSTS, and the rantings and empty platitudes of the Fulani "northern" leaders and their gullible minority collaborators, like Gowon, MUST be ignored as the distractions that they are. Attack is the best form of defence, and the first thing we need to do is remove all "northern" okadamen from our midst IMMEDIATELY. They ARE an advance sleeper army, who have already penetrated every southern city, especially in the Southwest. It's not too late today. Tomorrow will be too late!!! The OPC demo in Lagos today is the signal that all Southwest leaders, regardless of political affiliation, must act on. We must arm our boys and keep close tabs on the Islamic clerics in our midst, especially the "tebliks".

Igbo, Yoruba, Edo, Ijo, Itshekiri, Urhobo and every other Southern ethnic group must join forces now to create silent armies that will defend our territories as one, starting from the middle-belt. This is not going to be an easy war, and it must be total, with day and night campaigns of equal and increasing ferocity and intensity. We need to push these people out of Nigeria and into the desert once and for all. Oil money can buy missiles, which can be deployed indiscriminately, the way Israel does, for every suicide bombing. The enemy must be decimated, before they decimate us, for, surely, that is their aim!!!!

Let them start first now, abi? They've put armed MOPOLs and Area Boys dressed as bodyguards in the place to force Lagosians to pay. We shall see whether they will collect it at gunpoint. I hope they're ready to kill many people, because Lagosians will not stand for this slavery. We fought off the British Colonialists and the Military. Lagosians are nobody's slaves. Neither Jonathan and his houseboy Aganga, nor Tinubu and his houseboy, Fashola, will be able to withstand the firestorm that will engulf Bola Tinubu and his people from the 18th. We have been waiting for them.

Tinubu and his houseboy will remember 18th December 2011 for all the wrong reasons. Mark my words.

O God of Abraham, God of Isaac, God of Jacob, in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I call on you today to save us from the hand of the tyrants and oppressors, who, having used our own resources to start, but not finish a road project, now want to punish us with the heavy burden of tolls which we must pay to them before we pass on a road built with the taxes of our parents.

Everlasting King of Glory, if indeed you are in Heaven, Lord come and give us victory over the oppressors of the people. Father, turn their devious wisdom into foolishness, their stolen wealth into desolation. Let the property they have stolen from us turn into curses in their lives and in the lives of their generations to come. As they feed fat from the riches they have stolen from us, let that which they eat poison their bodies. Let the doctors that treat them make mistakes as they do so.

Let desolation be their companion and grief their escort. Father, let them weep over their children, as they cause the poor to weep over their children because they cannot afford to educate them. Cause them to misbehave, to bring public disgrace upon them. Cause the eyes of the people to open, that they may see them for the evil serpents that they really are. Destroy their divinations from today, O Lord. Deliver your people from the hands of these locusts, O God. Afflict them, their households and their possesions, O God, with the plagues of Egypt. Cause all who conspire with them to rob the people to gather wealth for robbers, armed and unarmed. Dispossess them, O God, of every possession they have stolen from the people, "legally" and otherwise.

Father, once and for all, cause all their divinations, deciet, hypnotism, witchcraft and propaganda to fail from today, O Lord. Let them know that you, O Lord, are not mocked. Show them, Father, that you are not decieved. Reveal unto them that you cannot be bribed, like the unjust judges they use against the people, O Lord. Cause all who collaborate with them in their oppression of the people to gnash their teeth and weep perpetually, O Lord. This I ask in Jesus Mighty Name. Amen

Reading some of the vile comments here make my stomach churn. I probably hate corruption more than most here, and I don't see why that should stop me from mourning the loss of such a gem, not only to her frankly illustrious father, but to us all as a nation too!

Besides, El-Rufai was not a minister his whole adult life. People conveniently forget that he ran a very successful Survey and Valuation practice, and a flourishing consultancy which attracted the attention of Buhari's PTF, and also got Obasanjo interested enough in him to give him pivotal roles in his revolutionary government!

Please, guys, this behaviour is ALIEN to our cultures as well as our religions. Give the El-Rufai family a break. May this never befall any of us, including the El-Rufais, again. Amen.

This is the same Tinubu whose houseboy, Fashola, deported fellow Nigerians from Lagos State, on his express orders

Of course, he's only doing this because of the wahala he has found himself in with indigenous Lagosians, especially those in ACN, lately. Then there's the question of his wife.

He conveniently forgot this issue of unity when he sent his wife and his dog in the senate, Ashafa, to question the eligibility of Roli George to hold a federal appointment on the Lagos slot.

He also forgot the question of competence when he ordered the same people to roll over for the clearly incompetent Aganga at his confirmation hearing in the same senate a couple of months ago. This is the Aganga that couldn't balance the budget, gave us a budget with 74% recurrent expenditure.

Yekini Amoda Ogunlere, aka Bola Tinubu is just trying to be clever by half, seeing as he wants to use Aganaga, who is clearly another of his moles in PDP, as one of his options for Lagos State governor in 2015. The other options are his wife and Hakeem Muri-Okunola. All are non Lagosians. In Aganga's case, he NEVER actually schooled or lived in Lagos. Was not even born here. Tinubu's statement is just self-serving hypocrisy.

When he signed the Tenancy Bill into law without making requisite investment in affordable housing, I thought he was a bit cuckoo, but with this new proposal, it is now official: Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN, is clinically insane.

How anyone can sleep and dream up this kind of law is beyond me. Sieze property belonging to the perpetrator, yes, that I understand, especially if you can prove that the property was acquired with the proceeds of that crime.

I now firmly oppose Fashola.
Business / Re: FG Cashless Economy Project To Begin In Lagos by djustice: 11:52pm On Nov 21, 2011
The only thing that this stupid idea demonstrates is that President Jonathan and his entire crew of Ministers are big dunces.

I am now no longer supporting this federal government of buffoons, who don't understand that without wired telecoms, you only stand to kill the economy of a city like Lagos with this stupid policy.

I now have no choice but to agree with the ACN hacks here and elsewhere, that Goodluck Jonathan is just as tribalistic as Yar'Adua before him. He doesn't care what happens to Lagos and the Yorubas, but cares deeply enough about his own state to remove the incompetent Sylva, who, frankly, is beginning to look more competent than Jonathan himself.

It is a sad day for Lagos today. Many Lagosians, including Fashola, will come to remember this day in deep regret, as the day that the Nigerian dream died. It will be buried later, but unless this decision is reversed, the economy of Lagos will die, and Nigeria's along with it. People will fight, as desperation and hunger set it. As for me and mine, the time has come to leave Nigeria. Our rulers have gone mad. Again.

Kai!! Why did we allow Obasanjo to leave??

This minister is a fool and an empty headed follow-follow, looking for a way to line the pockets of some people. He should be sacked right now, because he's going to be a trouble magnet for this administration.

He wants to copy what Fashola is doing in Lagos that has already failed, because the people have refused to pay any tolls on that road, and the government is the one now paying Tinubu's company N4.5b every month on behalf of all Lagosians.

Will the federal government do the same AFTER removing oil subsidies? Does he want the government to be looked upon as an ANTI-PEOPLE government

I can understand the economic reasoning behind the removal of subsidies, but what's the rationale for this blatant, shameless display of utter stupidity and crass insensitivity??

Jonathan had better sacrifice him now, before he taints this administration and plants it firmly on the wrong side of the aspirations of the ordinary struggling Nigerian. Thank God he wasn't elected to that position and only sits there at the pleasure of the President. If Jonathan doesn't sack him, WE WILL KNOW THAT JONATHAN STANDS AGAINST THE PEOPLE OF NIGERIA.

Iragbiji-Ile, ekt-bear and the other "foreigners" seeking to tell us Lagosians what development is, I need you to bear this in mind. Lagos has been developing, nor be today o!

When the British arrived in 1851 with their consulate, they found a thriving community, living off of trade between the Portuguese, the French and the Ijebus from Ikorodu and Ijebu-Ode, via Epe.

They said themselves that the people were used to industry!!!

Lagosians, I repeat, Lagosians (read that to mean Indigenous Lagosians), from Badagry to Epe to Ikorodu to Isale Eko have always been industrious. If you have any doubts, google The Lagos Consulate 1851-1861, by Robert Sydney Smith, and it will enlighten you. You're obviously not from Lagos, hence your uber-patriotic moniker hereon, sort of crying more than the bereaved, if you like!

You, eko-ile in particular, are a despicable specimen of a man, a sorry excuse of a child, something worse than what the cat spat out, a rodent that cannot live amongst men of honour. In fact you're just a disgusting turd. CARRY ON SUCKING TINUBU AND FASHOLA'S RECTUMS, AND YOU WILL KEEP SPITTING OUT THE SH1T YOU'VE BEEN SPITTING ON THIS FORUM AND ELSEWHERE TILL THEY CARRY YOU KICKING AND SCREAMING INTO YABA SOUTHWEST!

You are a charlatan, a fraud, a thief and a nonentity. AS I HAVE SAID SEVERALLY ON THIS BOARD, IF YOU ARE BENEFITING FROM THE STOLEN WEALTH OF THOSE WHO ARE STEALING FROM LAGOSIANS, OR ARE PARTICIPATING IN THE 12 YEAR LONG RAPE OF LAGOS AND ITS RESOURCES, THE FOLLOWING SHALL BE YOUR PORTION IN THE MIGHTY NAME OF OUR LORD JESUS:

FAILURE
DESPAIR
PESTILENCE
PLAGUE UPON YOUR GENERATIONS
INCURABLE DISEASES
AVOIDABLE MISHAPS WILL DOG YOUR EVERY STEP
DESTRUCTION
IRRELEVANCE
UNPRODUCTIVE OFFSPRING
PROFIT THAT WILL BRING YOU UNTOLD GRIEF

Of course, as I always conclude, you will not suffer any of these damnations if you're not profiting from the sweat of Lagosians, directly or indirectly. Amen. Evem

Without a shadow of a doubt. But expect the sheep in 3-2-1, they'll start bleating as usual, without any proof beyond the same old tired rubbish, Odi (soldiers were killed, their colleagues retaliated), power (sabotaged by the Northern power clique, led by Yar'Adunce), $16b spent on power (debunked time and again by people who know better), power probe (the man replied, they scattered, turned out it was a shake-down, led by the lead investigator himself, with the approval of Yar'Adull).

Obasanjo almost single handedly squelched apartheid and negotiated Mandela's freedom (says Margaret Thatcher), sent the military back to the barracks and kept them there, got rid of the odious debt inherited from idiots like IBB, Shagari and Abacha, brought back the dead middle class, sorted out telecoms, strengthened the banks, got us R-E-S-P-E-C-T from the international community, so tey even Gaddhafi, who intimidated Abacha in this same Nigeria with his guards, was made to behave himself by small Fani-Kayode!!

He put our aboki friends in their place, and demystified them completely, freeing the Middle-Belt and Nigeria as a whole from their grip in the process. He almost single handedly installed Jonathan with that famous statement to the comatose but concealed Yar'Adua that the cabal was using to torment all of us:"Yar'Adua should do the honorable thing and resign"! That's the statement that set off the noisemakers like awon Save Nigeria, and gave Dora Akunyili the courage to set the chain of events rolling that would eventually see Jonathan installed as Acting President. First time a Southern Minority, first time an Ijaw Man, the people feeding Nigeria with their oyel, would become President!!!

Stopped Atiku, IBB and the murderous Buhari dead in their tracks with some correct political maneuvering that left them dazed and gasping for breath. They're still gasping!!

On top of it all, the man still actually works as a farmer, daily!!! At his age, !! IBB, the younger man, has ALL his(our) money abroad in France, servicing the comatose French economy, instead of bringing it back here to help our own economy.

Atiku is busy collecting mansions all over the world. If it's not Potomac, it's Dubai. Buhari is busy building a private Boko Harmy and bomb us all to death, all this while Obasanjo feeds the nation!!

Yes indeed. Obasanjo IS without a shadow of a doubt, the most influential, powerful, patriotic, detribalised African alive today.

Reacting, the British carrier, in a statement said, ”the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has restricted British Airways flights to Lagos from next week. They have cited operational reasons for this imposition. It appears that British Airways is the only airline to be singled out by these restrictions. We are doing all we can to resolve this issue.”

In its defence, British Airways said: “The distribution of the slots at Heathrow is managed through an independent organisation, Airport Coordination Ltd. ACL manages slot allocation in a fair and transparent manner, where all airlines have the opportunity to be involved.”

Who do they think they're fooling with Our own Abuja Airport too is managed through an Independent Organisation that pays no heed to international agreements and cannot be forced by our government to do so, especially when the other party to the agreement flouts it on flimsy excuses. Let 's be considerate. As long as the power doesn't go anyway near Bola Tinubu, any of the Uba Brothers, Odili or Alameyeisegha, I'm cool with it to remain in the South, especially the south-south. I'm from the Core North, so don't call me Yoruba-Yoruba., but to be honest I dont trust any Northern leader for a minute anymore.

Especially since Yar'Adua reversed all the power projects and dashed all the equipment to his brother-in-law, whom he also made the Comptroller-General of Customs.

Especially since Yar'Adua imposed the inexperienced but verbose Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi as the CBN Governor, for the purpose of Northernising the financial industry, and seizing all the banks from good Southern Ownership and handing them over to corrupt, inept and broke-ass Northern owners at the expense of Ordinary Nigerian Shareholders.

Like I said before, I'm from the Core North!

As I said, Iragbiji-ile, the more fool you! How on earth 3 hospitals can consume 10mw of electricity, I cannot fathom. What are they doing in those hospitals that is consuming so much power?

As usual, people, it's all a scam. An elaborate, well trumpeted confidence trick, designed to wheedle more money out of hapless Lagosians, while creating the impression that their false popularity (they've basically rigged EVERY SINGLE election since 2003) is derived from "performance".

I'm guessing the reason only those three hospitals can be supplied from their 10mw generator at Marina is because they've laid power lines for all three, and ignored everyone else in that area.

That IPP will die if they don't connect up the whole of Marina to it. This is why I said I agree with that PDP gubernatorial aspirant - Gbadamosi is his name, I think, that Lagos should be broken up into several power distribution districts, along the lines of the 20 LGAs, and new underground distribution networks built for each district, by a company wholly owned by LASG to avoid the right of way issues that would arise if a private company had to do it. He argues that this would attract IPPs who can see that their every last kw will be evacuated from their plant and paid for. He even suggested that the customers on all the networks be connected with pre-pay meters only.

Fashola refuses to do that, instead preferring to ride to popularity on the back of a PRIVATE company's investment, to which the state has contributed NOTHING, which to say the least is really odd, in a state that makes over N43b per month in IGR, plus over N15b per month in Federal Allocations.

Eko-Ile, you really are a fool and will be afflicted with many afflictions and plagues as will your descendants and their descendants unto your generations, if you continue to defend the indefensible here!!
Travel / Re: Arik Air 'Banned' From Abuja To London Route by djustice: 11:34am On Nov 02, 2011
Me, I am boycotting both VA and BA from today. All my flights now na with Emirates, until normal service is resumed to Arik and any other Nigerian airline under the BASA agreement.

These oyinbo idiots think they're smart. Ethiopian airline is still flying too, abi? Only small stop-over in Dar-es-Salaam. That's another option. If only other Nigerians could join me in this boycott, they would quickly find reasonable space for Arik at Heathrow, and not some corrupt middle-man arrangement with BMI, are those ones still flying?

Zamfara State Attorney-General and Commissioner for Justice, Alhaji Garba Gajam, has disclosed that a one-month-old baby was employed in one of the local government councils in the state and was said to possess an Ordinary National Diploma (OND).

Speaking with newsmen immediately after the state Executive Council meeting held in the Government House chamber on Monday, the commissioner maintained that the state government was disturbed at the level of corruption at the local government councils.

He further said that the state government did not stop the payment of salaries to local government workers as it was widely speculated but directed the workers to open account with any of the banks.

He affirmed that the whole idea was to ensure accountability and to checkmate the activities of some Directors of Finance who had adopted many tricks to defraud the government of huge sums of money.

Alhaji Gajam, however, noted that the directive was misinterpreted by some mischief makers who did not wish the government well adding that in their effort to cover up their dirty deals, they committed serious blunders.

“For instance, we discovered that in one of the local government councils, a one-month-old baby was in the payroll. But the most disturbing aspect of our discovery was that the baby was said to possess an Ordinary National Diploma. This is the rot in our system,” he declared.

So, what was the result of the arrest and prosecution of the culprits, or were there none This is the same way Bola Tinubu started shouting in 2001 that the LGA chairmen were stealing, without arresting or prosecuting anyone of them, despite their lack of constitutional immunity.

It may just be a ploy by the state government, as they did in Lagos, to get their grubby hands on the LGA allocations, and sideline the LGs completely, funds-wise, just as is being done by Fashola in Lagos today!!

Wise up, Nigerians!!
