For Political Science, its not clear because the rate people transfer to POS is very low, try to make around 60+(percent in a 4.0 CGPA System), then you shouldn't have much troubles.

Neco is yet to do coordination two weeks after finishing the exams. Please they should bear in mind that with the new trend of universities using o level results for post utme screening they have no luxury of time to play hanky panky as many of their candidates are looking up to them for successful admission .

What I meant is, firstly, they have to sign and approve your transfer to another department, without your HOD's signature, you can't make the switch.

Secondly, to be able to switch in your Second Year, you have to register and take Courses from Political Science Department that will give you foundation as those in 200L(they too would have done these courses in their First Year of studies)

Political Science is tough but offers good employment opportunity slightly more than Philosophy can offer you.

Also consider if you have the right UTME combination before making the switch if you want to go ahead with it.

@thehistorian,ajet001,condomsir and other important persons in the house,i need ur urgent advice.
Initially,i selected political science as course to study,buh now due that ui will conduct p.utme am now thinking of switching pol.sci to philosophy which its cutoff point is 50 last year considered to pol.sci which is 62 inorder to hav better chance of being admitted.pls can i go on with my reasonings and the changes that i want to made??
Also, can u pls tell me d amount of students admitted to political science and philosphy department last year.

Hello my little able family,im frm osun state i nid urgent answer, i had 218 wit awaiting result in neco, i chose political science in my utme, inorder to have a beta chance to gain admission this year should i change to philosophy or leave it in pol.science
even tho im just thnking as if philosophy wnt be much competitiv. Thanks for ur advice in advance.
