Finally the anticipated cultural attire of the Bekwarra Nation has been unveiled by his Royal Majesty HRM. Linus Ogbeche. Ushie Katpa I of Bekwarra.
Any Nation that refused to identify with themselves culturally is falling blindly into the future and generation upon generation will have to suffer it.
Now Bekwarra Agba cultural celebration will look more colourful. No need going to Tiv, idoma, Igede Agba, Igala, Igbo for cultural attires during our traditional marriages, reception, ipiem ihihe, celebration in schools and carnival.
Now I can see ukpah man and point at him as my brother. I can now see a Gakem woman and say she is my sister when I see her in her Bekwarra cultural attire.
The significant of this cultural attire cannot be over stressed but I must say a big thanks to the Ushie katpa of Bekwarra Nation.
The unveiling of the cultural attire took place on Saturday the 25th of may, 2019 with highly respected HRM from Obudu, Obanliku, Yala etc.

calabar maybe smaller but more developed than Benin in all ramifications-i dnt need to tell u that.what is the need of having a big city that is not developed.i left Ghana to calabar from there to Benin to c an aunt and was surprise to c Benin almost thesame way the last time i saw it.and am like where are all the stuff people have been praising Benin online for.am sure u know till tomorrow,calabar and by extension,cross river remains the cleanest state in Nigeria
