Personally, I can't wish for one over another... |
amitalian: I hope I'm doing this right... We have been dating 2 years now n it only gets better. But I'm still so skeptical about the distance. We r trying to put together a trip right now but I'm nervous. Not nervous to meet him but to travel such a distance n jus being out of what I know. That's what makes the whole thing a great experience. When one decides to leave its comfort zone, to go in search of somthing that the person desires very much, even though the expedition or rather the transitoon doesn't turn out to be a blissful one in terms of the hurdles you might face and probably are not used to, it takes everything to a whole new level. Personally, my take towards long distance relationship is for both parties to try as much as they can in breaking that barrier(which is distance), at least for once in about a period of time. I think there is need to get to meet as soon as possible in order to to make the fantasy a reality. Finally, if you believe in your heart he is real, then what's the development of cold feet for? |
amnestylaw1: Breastmanship.Ahan! Them don start to dey employ people for that kind job abi na men dey employ themselves by themselves? |
superjaks: pls are u a learner?Yes ooooo |
There are a couple of cool things gurls use that entices me... Wears: i Like decency and as such wearing clothes that exposes your unclothedness is a turn off to me. If you have to put on a trousers, it should have fitting but not too tight. If it's a skirt, it should also have fitting. Ornaments: I think a nice chain with a lovely pendant might do. Bangles and or bracelets are okay. Hairstyles: If you have a long natural hair, that would do. I love it when a woman's hair is left like that to her back (that's if it's long). Ultimately, I love braid the most in a woman. Braids like those of Alicia keys (I don't know if she still does that). Physique: Height is never a requirement as my height can complement hers if she ain't tall. Slim→average is okay. I don't like it when a girl is kinda thin and when she is too voluptuous. You don't have to be sexy cause I am okay with a simple look. Facially: Must be good-looking. I like it when a girl is beautiful, but you don't have to be drop-dead beautiful neither do you need to have a jaw-dropping beauty. I am okay if a girl is just beautiful. So many other features I love. Well, let's say this is just about the physical and not including inward qualities. That's where I really have much requirements or things that make me fall flat for a girl and not her physical attributes. |
Gosh! That's stupidity at the highest level... Like wth! I doubt if I can ever believe this cause its more ridiculous than unbelievable... |
vivalableue: Actually, I'm very interested in what you have to say for some reasons. A) although my short term plans don't include marriage. As a mother, even though the kids see and enjoy their father on a weekly basis, my home still can benefit from the presence of a bonafide man. B) marriage is marriage, I'm not African true but am half Jamaican half Indian so my culture dictates marriage as a matter of stature in my communities also as a matter of pride for my people. C) I'm attracted to older African men, so seeing their perspective its key.The sole reason I decided to opt outta further comments is because my views will definitely negate yours as I had already seen areas where such variance lies. And since we are from two distinct cultures, certain issues that comes to the fore can never be treated as such as our different cultures means our moral, ethical and our spiritual views are different. Don't worry my dear... In as much as you would wanna learn a thing or two still, it is paramount for me not to over step my bound with my views. |

owolabifunke14: The girl. And her baby stays with us now and my father's mood since that day changed. He blames my mother for everything. But my brother is now hustling by force because old man told him to go and rent his own house. My brother is a gentle man by pretence to the core. He always want to beat the girl but my mum doesn't give him that chance. I salute my mum for always protecting the poor girl.Ehya... |

vivalableue: Also take a look at what else I posted on this thread...it helps to get the full picture before making assessments lolLol... I think you should get to check on my posts too cause it seems I posted before you and that's to tell you that I have been following the thread since my first post. I have a reason for halting further discussions on your part since in giving my analysis, I take a whole lot of things into consideration. As you ain't situated here (I guess u ain't African even), so that eventually made me sum up my conclusions as to not analyse the said post of yours. |
vivalableue: Nothing than I like bring alone in my house for now. I'm not ready to put myself on the singles market yet in the sense that I'm looking for a life long mate. I'm enjoying my single life as it is. Besides I've got 2 babies, a great job, pay my own bills etc. So a partner in the traditional sense isn't something I'm going to be looking for. When I'm ready, someone who can offer companionship, leadership in my family, godly vision, and inspires me to be a better mother, wife and human being are the qualities I'm looking for. He doesn't have to be a rich man, simply one that works hard at what he does. I can respect any man who takes pride in his life and achievements. I get upset at the ones who see me being comfortable in my own and then label me feminist or get intimidated. No further comment I think, since you are not Nigerian. If you were, it would have been a different kettle of fish. |
owolabifunke14: Forget this your epistle. You men can pretend to a lady for over 5years of courtship and the lady won't have a hint of your pretence. My own brother was never seen with a girl for once in our house but one fateful day, a girl with 3months preg came to our house with her mother and her box. My parents were even denying that their own son could not do such a thing until the guy confessed that he actually did it. Prayer no dey expose una pretence ni.Men pretend, that's right. But women? newsflash! they pretend more when it comes to getting married. A lot of em will hide their evil characters and attitudes acting like saints before the marriage and after everything is over, they now bring forth their devilish part of them... |

Advertisement you know is very necessary in every business... |
I think there is a misdirection here.... You said the guy found the love of his life? Or the lady found the love of her life (money). Even a toddler knows that ain't love. Love of life kò, love of death nî.... |
Nothing we no go see for this life.. So them mean say them really want make everything about girls be artificial abi? Well, this is far from surprising since women can have artificial asś, what else is remaining ![]() |
kola oloye: What a nice development. Makes the job easierWhat job is that ![]() |
Exponental: Lol.....@ op.Ha ha ha ha ha.... Men always have a way of taking down women. @op, na true talk this guy yan oooooo. No let menopause visit you with that list ooooo, to avoid stories that touch the heart. |
Okay ooooo. Until then |
My instinct has chosen not to fall for what the OP is saying... I don't believe the op one bit. I don't know why really but I think the op has an ace up her sleeve... Just my thought. No offence. |
MRbrownJAY: ^^^^bro, as you so well put it: many women would rather settle and fool themselves with a beautiful LIE, and I (MBJ) simply gave them the UGLY TRUTH.I am not against your ideology, what I am really not comfortable with is the way you tend to use some raw words or expressions. At least try to encrypt some of the rather too obvious sensitive words.. |
Prettyvita: hahahahahhaha lol. Laff wan commot my simcard oooooLol.... No worry if e comot I go buy new sim card for you |
vivalableue: I'm about to get stoned by all females for asking this, but why is there this crazy expectation about getting a ready made man house car blah blah blah? I'm not Nigerian so this whole concept of expecting money to just fall out his pocket into your lap is pretty medieval if you ask me. So is this why your men seem so confrontational and angry? Before I give an assessment of your post in general, what do you mean by your last sentence? |
