An Islamic court has stoned a teenager to death in southern Somalia after convicting him of raping a woman, a pro-Islamist news site reports.

The judge ordered Hasan Ahmad Ali, 18, to compensate the woman with a calf before he was killed, according to an audio recording of the trial.

Ali denied raping 28-year-old Fadumo Hasan Mohmoud.

Somalia's militant Islamist group al-Shabab implements a strict version of Islamic law in areas it controls.

Last month, a woman was stoned to death in the port town of Barawe after an Islamic court convicted her of having four husbands at the same time.

Ali was found guilty of raping Ms Mohmoud at gunpoint in Dharuro village in Somalia's Lower Shabelle region, reports the pro-al-Shabab al-Furqaan radio station on its website.

He said he had consensual sex with her.

Al-Shabab has recently lost control of several towns, including× Barawe, but still controls large swathes of territory in rural areas.

The al-Qaeda linked group, which is estimated to have at least 5,000 fighters, wants to overthrow the UN-backed Somali government.

I want to ask this question to paint a picture.

What will make an obviously pretty young girl of 20yrs, date an ugly old man that is above 48yrs, not for money benefit as the charge n bale doesn't have it, not for comfort or contact since he stays in only a room apartment under rent, not for the fun of sex nor the pride of having a caring person. He doesn't communicate. She know she is ashamed of herslf and want to quit because everybody has come to know about it yet, she can't help the tought of him.

My people, please I just need your candid suggestions and and Advice.

A woman I plan settling down with had an affair with a married Esq. Marrie man of which she never knew he was married. A relationship that started from being a friendly n caring neighbour to a strong bondage. Now she knew what has happened and had confronted this man several times to undo what he did (since she had lost chances of getting married on several occassions) but this man would rather subject her to emotional difficulties since he now control her happiness.
"All the man has done all these years is to take me to a Hotel and make love to me of which I don't feel anything and he doesn't care" she said.
And this is what has been going on since 5years now.
I gave her hope that something will be done to remedy the situation but to be since I really don't know what steps to take yet as it is a tromatising situation.

Please I need your candid and matured advice.

What I haven't made you is the fact that we met on FACEBOOK 2009 and we have been charting both on BBM, WHATSAPP and others, she has assisted me several times on accademic things since she knows some of the relevant lecturers in my department. Well she is so tall and big, that I like but she lacks the BACK side of the equation. I have actually been telling my mind I can deal with that but on the other side I feel incomplete because its not what I have always pictured and you know what happens when you look good as a guy and doing well, some kind of choice is always expected of you. I had been toasting since that 2009, of which she gave a condition that I must visit her in her house of which I did August 2012. And ever after she saw me she has been the one following up on me. We started going out late last year but the whole thing is going so fast, that's y I came up with this opinion-poll/suggestion! I have a lady I love so much n she love me too, She has all the good qualities of a marriable woman and she is doing well carreer wise, but she does not have the physical structure of a woman I had in mind.

I sat back in my car and imagine what that day will be like, when cars will
be so lined up on the bridge (The usual go-slow) and probably the wind or whatsoever
the cause, and the bridge malfunctions.

If the bridge can carry all that it does and nothing happens to it, then noting can happen to it when it is less busy.
So definitely, the day the bridge is gonna have any malfunction (break), there would be cars on the bridge.

I really LOVE this contribution,because being a man of the house entails a lot, of which women don't really like admitting. I feel women should only should only feel panic when they find out the man is being distracted by opposite sex. I had had a married Lady so close that we did phone activities and planned meetings but in my own way I averted it cos my role was to encourage and guide her to doing the right things and i know what it means as a young man. However what ladies need most is to be observant, patient, very wise and prayerful.
