Ymodulus:Stop talking foolishly, Igbo this Igbo that. Why the sudden love for Igbos? is love by force? The Igbo voted who they wanted so allow them experience the consequences of their choice. why are you taking analgesic for another mans headache? in this passing government, why did the Yorubas give up on the speakership of the lower house? did you die because you didn't have it. don't be foolish my friend. Ngige was voted over the indefatigable late DORA in 2011 but he was not a good representative of his constituency and he became rejected now you are blaming Igbo for voting out incompetence. what a hypocrite(remember you sw claim you voted out gej because of incompetence) you are a master of double speak aka sophistication aka hypocrisy aka false lover. The Se and Sw don't have same political attitude. the sw plays a centrist politics while the Se plays to the right. each has its pros and coins and I don't think its right to antagonize anyone for his choice of politics. As you are happy now that sw has hit the political jackpot in 2015 some other time in the future if nigeria endures Se will be happy too to have won a fabulous jackpot too. peace brother |

From the Sun Newspaper Jonathan inaugurates multi- billion naria mega water scheme in Ebonyi …Performs groundbreaking of Independent power project President Goodluck Jonathan yesterday, inaugurated a multibillion naira mega water scheme in Ikwo Local Government Area of Ebonyi State built by Governor Martin Elechi. The President, who also performed the groundbreaking of the 2790/3900 mega watts Ebonyi Independent Power Plant project also in Ikwo Local Government Area, described the projects as the first of its kind in the history of the country. He was represented by the Minister of Power, Prof Chinedu Nebo, who recalled that the Jonathan administration, approved the privatisation of the companies that gave room for the public private partnership in establishment of life touching projects. Prof Nebo expressed happiness over the project, which he said, was in line with the transformation agenda of the Federal Government. “When Mr. President heard the capacity of Ebonyi Independent Power Project, he was touched because no state in the federation has ever dreamt about it. He was excited, but it is very clear from all indications that Governor Martin Elechi was not acting alone. ‘‘I believe very strongly that for the governor especially of Ebonyi State to conceive an idea as huge as 2,700 mega watts of electricity in a country that is dreaming of 4,500 mega watts, it has to be divine.” This is to show that a small state like Ebonyi can become the giant power producer in Nigeria,’’ he said. According to him, one of the key factors of President Jonathan Transformation agenda is delivery of power to the people of Nigeria. Nebo said ‘’it took a lot of boldness, courage, single mindedness, commitment for President Jonathan to make sure that the Privatization exercise was carried to the logical conclusion’’. He expressed optimism that the Independent Power Project when completed and the Multi-Million naira Mega Water Scheme sited in the area which he inaugurated will change the economic fortune of the people and the State in general. Governor Elechi in his remarks commended the President through the minster of power for performing the exercise which he said was dream come through. He said there were endless meetings with the Transmission Company of Nigeria, the Gas Company of Nigeria and the Nigeria Electricity Regulatory Commission leading to the issuance of license for the Independent Power Plant project. Good one there Ebonyi state. Ebonyi adibago Nma |

He said since the establishment of ANSIPPA, it has increased commercial and industrial activities in the state, adding that “the project bears eloquent testimony that Anambra State is now a safe haven for investors, which is also an indication that the administration of Obiano is ready to protect investors and they will be sure of their investment.” |
I thought that Osun state has about the highest GDP in Nigeria, why is this state always crying of crude oil challenges? it proves that the so called GDP is on paper, not realistic. |
You look very much like an Igbo lady. Nigeria is a challenging place where many wish to flee from. anyway I know this write up is just a joke on your part. |
when he had absolute powers corruption was not stopped, how then will he fight corruption in a democracy when also he is being funded by the corrupt? when he was the HOS, he left the running of the state to his deputy, how then will he be an effective president now that he is past retirement age? When he was the head of PTF, he left the day to day management to his cronies leading to unethical practices, this made a few conscientious individuals to resign, how then at this period are trying to convince us of his suitability for that office? |
