The Yorubas are found all over the country and all over the world, yet you never hear of them being slaughtered or breeding ill will against their host the way Ibos are known to do. They are huge Yoruba communities in all West African countries who are truly integrated therein and never snide at their host.
Before Ibos came Yoruba lived all over the Northern part of the country and there were no pogroms. It shows people who are well brought up and diplomatic. The Ibos came with their uncultured brashness and attempt to dominate and take over other people's property thoughtlessly and call it competition. Many will loot the property of the locals to increase their own value and call it success. They laugh at the misfortune of locals and call them stupid and behave as the overlords and they expect all to cower and marvel.

There is a very high chance that the SW will even be president after PMB. From the look of things, it would even be easier for the SS to produce another president before the SE. The reason behind this is simple, the Igbos have generally failed to play proper politics of partnership. GEJ's era actually made matters worse when you consider the actions and reactions of Igbos pre and post the 2015 elections. You do not get the presidency of a nation by burning bridges (which is exactly what Igbos are doing presently). Even the SS of which the SE is presently courting politically would even be wary of completely supporting a SE presidency any time soon.
In a nutshell, it would be very difficult for the SE to produce the president of Nigeria based on the current situation of things (except a Yaradua=>GEJ situation occurs). The actions and reactions of the SE within and post-GEJ era has further created more distrust and further dampened the chances. This is something a number of Igbos have realised lately, hence their renewed campaign for secession as the next available option. But personally, I think we should concentrate in developing our region ourselves and also, aim for a proper cooperation with the middle-belt, the SS and the SW to fight the north for the actualisation of true federalism. From Nigerian history, producing a president has never helped any region and I dont think the case would be different even for the SE.

See my brother, we in the south have sold ourselves to the Muslim north. if APC brings out a SW for President and a northerner for VP, the PDP or whatever strong opposition party will feature a Muslim north presidential candidate and a SE or SS VP. The north will vote a northern presidential candidate irrespective of the party (after all the north voted Yar adua who was PDP). The SE will vote the party with SE or SS VP, likewise the SS to spite the SW for aiding GEJ's expulsion from power.
It is only the SS that has a very slim chance of being the President again from the south.

Igbo's may never get the presidency, but Yoruba's too will never be President of Nigeria again. the north henceforth will always be producing the President till the country breaks up.

if the story of Osibanjo walking out on Buhari is true then he did the right thing. It is commendable of him to have protested in a civil manner.

moral of the story:
all you only need is a visionary leadership, hardworking, disciplined and patriotic citizen with believe in themselves and God given talent to build a prosperous and rich country.
Building a prosperous country is not dependent on oil, not massive arable land, not gold deposits, not even access to the Sea nor large populations, these may help but if not well managed can be a hindrance to prosperity.
so based on the countries above, Odua, Arewa, Ijaw, Niger delta, Biafra republics all can be prosperous if they apply themselves to it.

in the first Biafra every thing worked despite the war. refineries, telephone, the civil service, the army, police, hospitals, there was great patriotism. Normally during wars citizens usually flee their country, but in Biafra citizens in Europe and America were coming home to fight for the survival of the new state. it can seriously reduce the amount you spend on energy. imagine if you want to boil water for preparing eba, you just need a little heat more to bring the water already at 70°C to boil, thereby saving your kerosene or gas. likewise when cooking other types of food.
but then this is not an invention the right word should have been " constructed"

I'm not an igbo guy but,I read Chinua Achebe's 'There was a country'.There,i got to know what igbos went through during the 30months war and i believe any sensible human being wouldn't want that to occur again.
Apart from that,it kind of difficult now because they currently lack great leaders like Azikwe,Ojukwu,Achebe n so on.The Nmnandis we're hearing of now are just faceless cowards.
Lastly,we still want and love the igbos and i pray and hope they can drop this long term insecured nature and remain part of the great Nigeria that people like N.Azikwe fought for.
