Implications of.Intel monopoly
1. it was solely in charge of all shipment cargoes in the oil and gas industry
2. It's charges were about x10 the normal rate

According to Jude, an insider, ..(the) ship(that) would have paid about N25 million for the handling of its cargo at Warri Port but would pay about N267 million for the same service at Intels.

Friends I can we need to carefully look at Delta politics as we speculate on the political landscape there. I think APC is just a growing party in the state and will not be ready until after 2023. The political alignments and realignments are simply for the selfish benefits of the losing politicians. Delta state is traditionally a PDP state and will be very hard to defeat by any other party for now. Ogboru has always been on the wrong side for which reason he has not become governor. The Ijaws expect PDP to reward them in 2023 with a shot at governorship in 2023 and for which reason they will vote in block for PDP. People seem to erroneously believe that the political influence of Ibori has been reduced. As long as he is there it is very difficult for any political contestant of Urhobo/Isoko speaking people to win any senatorial or house seat outside the PDP. Uduaghan cannot defeat James Manager in Delta south. He could not do it as a seating governor and now it is too late. Ojuogbo/Utomi cannot defeat Okowa in Delta north. Okowa is a grassroots politician and a great mobilizer. Delta central still very largely is PDP territory in spite of the defections. Do not be surprised that a lot of APC agents will work for PDP in the polling units during the election. For me irrespective of party affiliation, I think we should vote in candidates we can apply the vast resources in our great state to move us forward. Nigerians are to be discouraged from selling their birth rights by accepting bribes of 2000 - 4000 naira from contestants. Money will play a massive role in swaying the votes of people. Politicians are amassing too much money now since they now know that they can give their agents money at the polling booths to "sort out". Nigerians need to rise up against such issues. APC does not know what democracy is. PDP cannot change. What we still have revolving around is "old wine in new skins".

Many of your suppositions are based.on the old order prior to the advent of PVC. If you are resident in the state and have actually participated in the voting exercise you will know that elections in Delta state were purely the writing of results in government house Asaba.

1. Okowa is overhyped. IKA has 2 LGA - South and NE
Ojuogor reigns in Ika south . Even in IKA north there is a simmering bitterness because Okowa is percievef to be focused only on his hometown Owa Alero.

In Delta central, Ogboru is being gradually perceived as a serial looser, though wrongly. Whoever he gives his support to will always carry the day. I read somewhere he has agreed to step down.
Macaulay from isoko is still watching the emerging political scenario. He will defect to APC if PDP choose to give Manager from Ijaw the Delta south senatorial ticket

It may appear confusing, But for APC to win in Delta state some hard choices must be made by the party and all the gladiators, It is clear for all to see that to beat PDP, APC must field a candidate from the north srnotarial zone where Okowa is from. Ogboru and Emerhor might have been prevailed upon to jettison their bids becausebof the emerging scenario. No word from Omo Agege yet concerning the allotting of his senatorial seat to Emerhor. If this is acceptable to him it means he is keying into the agenda of flushing the PDP out of power as priority task for now.

Emerhor, Ogboru, Omo Agege are from same central senatorial zone which is already under APC control. What will entice Delta north to vote APC- governorship ticket in the hands of a performer, not a pretender, like Utomi who happens to come from Delta north

Some issue are incontestable,

1. Delta Central is APC.

2 In DT South , 2 of the 3 major tribes are in APC fold ie Isoko and Itsekiri going by the gale of defections recently especially in Isoko land where the APC chairman is from as well as Uduaghan and Ayeri. So PDP can only boast of the Ijaw votes

3 In Delta north, the zone of Okowa, the governor cant boas of 60% loyalty from his IKA tribesmen because Dr Ojuogo of APC is always there to dilute his influence whenever they belong to opposing camps. In fact IKA nation is almost equally divided between them. The there is Kachukwu,

4 PVC no more writing of results in government house after dumping election results from the creeks in the ocean.

I see realignment of political forces to push out PDP from power in Delta state come 2019. Once the Emerhor factor is amicably resolved, the coast will be clear for APC to present a candidate from Delta north senatorial zone to face Okowa. The Ogboru faction, according to sources has earlier conceded the governorship slot to Delta north. Withe Delta central already APC, the party will most likely capture Delta South . Delta north will be a battle ground.
