Am a nurse/midwife..I undertook more than 50 deliveries within 3months in my nysc..
I worked more than any corper doctor in my hospital ppa but received little while corper doctors earn the money 95k+
I think there is injustice/discrepancy in nigerian scheme of service..this is exactly what is going on now in nigerian hospitals..if you are nt a doctor you are nothing..it's nt like that abroad..
Even if doctors spend 10yrs in university they are serving nigeria and everybody serving nigeria should receive the same pay

Everybody serving the Nigeria is definitely receiving the same pay and that's 19800. The discrepancy that you have noticed is not coming from the federal government. The federal government pays everyone the same. It's coming at the level of the state and local government, and it's based on what they value. Where I served, Teachers were paid more than pharmacist by the local government chairman. It was only doctors that earned more. The local government said he needed more doctors and teacher than other professional, in fact he paid the Zonal inspector to please influence the deployment of teachers and doctors to his LG. So its about the demand. Federal government pays everyone equally

All the reason stated above are valid. However the real reason is simple... There's a demand for doctors in all the state. If you do a demographic analogy, NYSC doctors in the North are paid more than their southern counterpart on the average, this is basically bcoz there's a huge demand for medical doctors in the north.
The Medical personnel are the only set of ppol who the NYSC don't change their job description. Most other courses ends up being teachers or assistant in the local government offices. But the doctors stays a doctor. If he happens to be the only doctor in that locality, he's on call 24/7. He's also liable for every action he takes bcoz he has being inducted, so he can be sued for medical malpractice and negligence.

But the crust of the matter is that, there's still a large disparity btw the availability or doctors and the population of the country.
WHO standard is 1 doctor to 30 patient. As at the last count the total doctor in this country is 90000.( that's assuming that all are alive and all are practicing in the country; which we know is not possible)

So my brother, it's the demand for doctors and this doctors go to the places where their other doctors don't want to go ( THE RURAL AREAS)

I think people are misinterpreting the word "Challenge". The challenge is not between ourselves but to challenge us in taken the best pictures we can envisage. It's to spur us on. Most times we just click on our phone and wala, picture taken, but knowing it's a "Challenge", a lot of things you will now consider and before you know it. This is a part of you and becomes routine to you.

My brother it's not just about snapping picture oo. It's about interpretation, composing, finding the perfect light, exposure. It's more than just pressing that shutter button.

Photography is hard work, now I know why those ppol charge high for a good job.

But putting how you guys can be very intimidating with the lens into perspective, it's only a matter of time before i hibernate to guest mode. Lol

Please don't hibernate oo... You get better with each picture taken. I read somewhere that "Your first 10000 pictures are going to be your worst". So take anything that catches your fancy..

As a note, always favour under exposing, you can always adjust with post production editing apps
