The same artesunate monotherapy is still being accepted as a modality of treatment as long as another anti-malaria is combined with it ( what do think is in coartem[img][/img]
And mind u when it comes to choloroquine, the idea behind stopping it prescription was to reduce the high level of resistance to it, once that has being achieved, it will make a comback to the market, bcoz resistance will have appear to this new regime too
That's how thing her, u expose ursef to something, u grow tolerant of t, take ursef away from that thing for sometime and then comeback, it will have the same effect as ur intial exposure. More so as doctors we don't treat paper and research, we treat patient, human beings with 1 life. So bcoz someone decided to "ban" a drug and am sure that's the drug that works for that person, I'll decided to suffer the person by given drug that has shown not to work with his system and keep away from what has proven to work for the person

Am a Medical Doctor and am gonna give u my honest opinion:
Medicine is dissatisfactory to u bcoz u still hold dear the idealism that u read about in ur books, where everything is available to make ur diagnosis quite easy to get
And u feel u r dissatisfied, I had a similar syndrome 1 year after my NYSC, but the honest truth is that its the one job where can have lots of fun, work the Job, don't let the job work u. I do a job that creates ample time for my family, and due to that I'm even able to indulge in a small business on weekends, moreso the fact that u r a doctor makes ppol trust u quite easily and if u don't betray that trust, u will get offers in whatever business u decide to venture into.
Also medicine is that course that cuts across all field, the engineering firm requires doctor, the oil and gas requires doctors, the manufacturing requires doctors even banks nowadays are having in-house doctors all in the bid to save man-hour loss. So don't limit urself to the hospital, b on the lookout for doctor required in this firms..... Less Job, better pay and when u feel its time to move on, u move. I have my primaries in surgery already but have deferred my acceptance into JUTH. Coz am doing well as a doctor for Nestle. Earning good cash. So think outside the box.
And to cap it.. Medicine is the only job in Nigeria right now, that u can bet that maximum of 2 month of searching, u'll get a job. But this is all my opinion, the ball lies in ur court

Its so obivious that MTN doesn't consider Airtel as a competitor in the telecom market. This advert were aimed directly @ the other 2 competitors, Etisalat and Glo. Not only did they get someone who had help advertize for them, but the switch from a green dress toa yellow dress is so un-canny. A good advert tho, let see what the others will come up with.
And a Big Thumbs up to NCC for this. I think the telecom is the only aspect of nigeria that seems to be working, and it would be a lot better if the power sector can pull it weight.
