I'm just as lost.
It's either he's interpreting challenge to mean competition and he's worried he'll lose, or the photos he's seen so far are dampening his confidence, or he thinks we're veterans on this thread (iLaugh o grin), or something else is happening that I'm not aware of.

I don't know why he's making a mountain out of a molehill.
It's a challenge to spark creativity and help people who are interested in photography. It should be fun! It's been fun so far, I can't believe anyone will be this uncomfortable.

I think you have interpreted all the possible options. Hey LoneCitizen, I recently bought a mid-range phone and I wanted to explore the camera beyond the usual selfie (such irony, the phone is name Asus zenfone SELFIE), I came across this thread and it sparked my interest, I have downloaded so many tutorials on #mobilephotography from YouTube, read 3 books on photography, mind you I'm not doing this for a living, I just like taking pictures. So man just come have fun, nobody is criticing anyone picture, we only suggest to make it better.

Yes you took it too far. We're trying to have fun, not usurp a government. If you have suggestions of what a week's challenge should be, take it up with Victoriousvic and he'll consider it.
I was going to ask to suggest this week's challenge until I changed my mind. I'm still eager to see how we interpret this challenge cheesy
I'm eager to see how I interpret it sef cos I'm just blank now.

My mind can't just make up something. The week is still far Sha, hope dey

As for equipments, that's not an issue. Like 90% of my shots are from my phone same with almost everyone on the thread.. Don't complicate.. One person came up with the idea and we all agreed he'll come up with the challenges and everyone will partake.. And here's humor:: Nigeria has had too much democracy and it's not been that good cheesy A little one man decision for every week challenges would be OK for the thread. Just come up with something nice, he'll include the ideas you came up with too don't worry.. Giving precise challenges like facial portraits, specific locations like rivers would limit creativity.

You just took the words out of my mouth.

Hopefully by next week the madness in this thread will die down... I've given up on explaining to them.

But did anyone notice anything odd about a very highly zoomed photo of the Moon supposedly taken with a Q10? Is that possible, even with a mobile lens?

Reference to the picture please, would like to see the "Big Fat Lie". The pictures are meant to be taken by yourself, irrespective of whatever camera (phone or DSLR). JUST TAKEN BY YOU.

I just can't wait for the thread to return to normal.

As much as I appreciate the influx of people to the thread, can we just please keep to the theme of the week. That way the pictures have a symmetry about them and other people viewing the thread can relate.

@victoriousvic; consignment don land.. . Thanks for the assistance.

PROMPT #4: FROM ABOVE

The photo challenge for this week is to find a subject and instead of taking a picture from the usual angles, take it directly from above.

Does it have to be directly above or just an angle that shows elevation.

The Nairaland weekly photo challenge is a photography project that encourages everyone to step out and shoot, even when you don't feel inspired.

Subject prompts for the challenge would be dropped on Saturday evenings. Some might have some technical aspect to them, and some, purely creative. Some can be done in a matter of minutes, some might require planning and preparation and an entire week to complete. All are open to a certain degree of interpretation.

Whether you take photos with a mobile phone or a DSLR, you’re welcome to participate in our photo challenges.

I'm very much interested in this challenge, I recently took photography as a hobby, and I'm trying to invest in certain things like you your clip-on lenses, I understand you got them from alibaba express, however am not so good at getting things from the site, so I was hoping you could help out.

I'm a big fan of MADE IN NIGERIA products. My clothing are by Nigerian tailors. Only thing in clothing I buy are polo tops. Formal office wears are made.
So here I'm looking for the right person to make my shoes for me. I had stumble on a dude who claim to be good at it but what he produced for 8k, I won't advise my enemy to wear it.
My search continued until I came across this post buried in page 8 of the fashion section.
Waited a few days while I read the review of other ppol.
Called him, showed him the picture, made initial payment and GBAM the shoe.

I must say I was actually impress at first sighting. I didn't have the time to wear it coz I was at work. But when I got home and tried it on. I was SUPER impressed.

Just perfect, absolutely just perfect.

If I'm allowed to make a few suggestions sir.
That inner part that logo are drawn or written, if u can create urs.... Something like MEXION®.... MADE IN NIGERIA. That would be good. Every fashion designer started like this.

For those contemplating on doing business with him. Take it from me... You will never regret it.

Ikenna351:

First thing you need to do is to stay still, take a deep breath and release the negative energy you have built up. Because the negative energy is drawing more negative things to you, because thats the vibration you are putting out.

You said in the first post that you are biased toward Peugeot. For that, all you will see and keep attracting once you remain in that vibration is to keep attracting negative remarks, comments and even people that will give you false information about Peugeot. Even the research you have done so far, you were attracted to negative or false comments, because thats exactly what you want. There are so many positive posts and comments on Peugeot cars online, but only the negative ones you found worth commenting on. Do you see where I am going?

Not every information or comments in online about Peugeot were put by People who know what modern Peugeot car keys looks like, let alone drive or own one, yet they know all about Peugeot, which they learnt from same negative comments posted by biased people toward Peugeot. Some people found it joyful to condemn or blame something when they fail in something their fellow human beings have become succesfull in. This goes to people that abuse their Lions and put blames on their Lions. Some people simply want public acceptance by conforming to what people say and spreading the message, even if its negative or false, just to belong or remain acceptable. The good side is, people are becoming aware of the truth about Peugeot cars that serve them, that's why they are increasingly joining the Peugeot family. The Lion Community is rapidly growing and that explains a lot to all I have said.

One thing is clear, good Life doesn't wait for anyone, same as wealth. They flow to people ready to accept them, appreciate them, be grateful for them and live them fully. While some are busy complaining how things are hard, how no money is in circulation, some people are busy earning and making millions of profits annually, monthly, weekly or even daily. Prosperity does not care who you are, it cares about who wants it because the person believes he/she deserves it and attract it. Peugeot 407 have become a common household car for Abuja inhabitants, same way Peugeot cars are increasing on Abuja road everyday. Good life does not wait for anyone who is busy analysing, judging or looking for negative sides of everything. You either jump in or you keep focusing on what negativity has to offer in deciding the car to settle for.

One of my modern Lions has exceeded 180,000 kilometer mileage and the entire electrics of the Lion remain perfect.

It's ok if you prefer another car in your list than the 407, but do yourself a favor, Avoid negative reviews of any of the cars you listed. To put it in another way, focus on the positive sides of each of those cars your list. The one your heart resonates with it, go for it.

Your call!

Ikenna, The Lion King.

Thanks Ikenna, you can blame me, am a stickler for ideal situation, more so this is my first buy.
So am like a woman who's pregnant for the first time, everything she hears, she ponder and worry about it.
And goes back to her doctor to tell him and help him make sense of it. So me coming to you is coz I want you to help make sense of all am hearing. I have heard a lot of good things about Peugeot, but of course, no one worries about good thing. Its be bad things we worry about.
And that's why I wish to get your book/CD. Am also gonna contact Guzzuzz as you have recommended.

I just read somewhere now that once a Peugeot hits a milage of 180k. It develops lot of electrical faults.
How true is this?
I know cars develop fault but the way it's said makes it sounds as if it's a sure bet that it must develop electrical fault regularly after getting to that milage.

@kunleajao I'm very interested in this vehicle of yours.
First I appreciate the fact that it was brought brand new (as you said), which makes me want to believe that the maintenance would at least have being on point.
Second, when I saw the high milage, I was a little perturbed.
So I need you to alley my fears around this car.
What is the service and maintenance history like,
Is the maintenance done by a road side mechanic or by a reputable mechanical workshop.
All this things will influence my decision to buy the car.
