*TOPIC: FATHERS TAKE US FURTHER*
PSALMS 44:1-3

*The kind of relationship you have with your father determines the kind of heaven you operate in on the earth – whether open heaven or closed heaven.* Your earthly father connects you to your ancestral flow, but there is a father who connects you to the Kingdom flow. *It is a wise son that strategically builds a relationship of blessing with his father.*

*Dearly beloved, learn to protect and honour the anointed linkages in your life.* These linkages bring divine linkages into your life. Some linkages bring about demonic trafficking into your life. *If you are connected to a supernatural linkage, you become a beneficiary or a victim of such a linkage whether positive or negative.*

*It was the anointed linkage of one of the sons of the prophet that preserved his wife and children. Never allow the devil to separate you.* He will do everything possible to separate because he always separates and isolates before he launches his attack.

*A true son does not have only his effort; he has also his father’s involvement.* When a son knows his father, he has an identity, but if a father acknowledges a son, the son has an inheritance. *Honour your heritage in the anointing because it increases and heightens the flow.*

Joseph’s father gave him a garment. *Garments of life and destiny are given to us by words of the mouth of anointed fathers.* When you walk into the blessing of your father, you enter into positive trafficking. *Be a wise son; protect the anointed linkages in your life.*


*PRAYER:* Lord, help me to protect my anointed linkages. Amen.

*TOPIC:THE SPIRIT OF SONSHIP*
1 SAMUEL 17:55-56, 2 KINGS 2:1-14

*Sonship is caught, it is not taught.* Sonship is the process by which the forces of the Kingdom of God come upon and flow into human life. Sonship is that thing that gives you training and preparation. The truth is that the Kingdom forces that make destiny happen only come and flow towards right sonship.

*Sonship can be in two sides: Wrong sonship and Right sonship*

*Your sonship is the degree to which you are responding correctly to fathering and the demands of God-ordained father on you.* How well you respond to God-ordained fathering will determine how much force of destiny will flow into your life to make it a reality.

*Elisha* had the right sonship in his life. He followed Elijah as a son and when he saw his father being taken away, Elijah’s mantle fell on him and he had a double portion of Elijah’s anointing. He caught the spirit of sonship, no one taught him. *David* also was a man who caught that spirit. He was so much of a son that his father could send him to his brothers on the field, his father’s flock was also safe in his hand and care, and God chose him to be king over His people. Inheritance belongs to sons only.

*Separate from everything that connotes wrong sonship, such as disobedience to instructions and rebellion.* Just accept the structure and fit in. Elisha fitted himself into Elijah as a son and his destiny to carry double portion came to pass. *Make sure the sonship spirit comes upon you. May that right spirit come upon you in Jesus’ name. Amen.*

*PRAYER:* I will not fail in my sonship in the Father’s house in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*WHAT EXAMPLE ARE YOU FOLLOWING?*
ISAIAH 51:1-2.

*Dearly beloved of God, who and what are you following in church?* What you follow determines what and who you become. *If you follow pretensions and eye service in God’s presence, you will become a liar, but if you follow the right things, you will become what God has purposed for you to become.* God brought you to church to follow righteousness. When you come to church, God gives you a picture to look upon.

*God always gives you an example to follow.* There is a living epistle that God wants you to emulate. Over the years in the Dream Centre, we have modelled righteousness, faith, strength, commitment to God’s assignment and seriousness in the calling. *I have always told our church members that when God called me, I had so many other options and opportunities that I left to obey God’s call over my life, and I have seen God’s commitment over the years.*

*I have fought and strived to keep this flow pure and unpolluted.* I did not leave those opportunities to play buffoonery and to get polluted. *We have faced many persecutions and fought battles in our obedience but God has been faithful.* We have done all these and God has helped us so that you can have a perfect example to follow.

*Therefore, settle down in church to follow the right things.* Follow our faith, follow our strength, follow our simplicity, follow our excellence and follow our commitment to the things of God.
*The truth is that if you are following right, it won’t be long before frivolities leave your life and things will begin to straighten out for you.*

*TOPIC: FOLLOW RIGHT!*
MATTHEW 16:24, 1 TIMOTHY 6:11, HEBREWS 6:12

*Know what and whom you are following. What and whom you follow in life will determine your destination in life.* God’s pattern for us as believers is to show us who to follow. However, many people have followed the wrong things and wrong people in life. I don’t want you to fall into that trap.

*Whether you like it or not, you are consciously or unconsciously following someone or something.* Beloved, don’t leave what and who you are following to chance. Take note and take stock of what and whom you are following because this will help you to be more in control of your life.

God has placed people and things in your life for you to follow. Jesus told His disciples to follow Him, and they followed Him and became fishers of men. *Your destiny is predictable if you show me what you are following.* Where you are now in life and destiny is because of who you have followed till now. If you don’t like it then correct your followership.

There were some people that God brought to me some years back so that they could follow me, however, they followed other things, some followed wrongly, and now *they are not fit for the destiny God is taking us to because they followed the wrong things.*

*These are things to follow if God brought you to us in the Dream Centre:*

· Follow my faith.
· Follow my principles.
· Follow my instructions.
· Follow my examples.
· Follow with focus and not with distractions.
· Follow the anointing.
· Follow the Spirit.
· Follow after righteousness.
· Follow the Truth.

DEUTERONOMY 28:12

*When the Lord opens His good treasures to a man, he enjoys incredible favour and various manifestations of God’s goodness and power.* This is not limited to money or finances alone; every aspect of his life comes under divine attention and peculiar provision. There is also a divine connection to provisions to meet up with seasonal changes and demands.

*When God’s good treasure is open to you, you have what it takes to be a husband/wife.* When kids come, you have what it takes to be a father/mother. When you come out of school, a good job rolls to your path. When you’re matured for marriage, the Lord joins a good wife to you.

*When you’re due for another level in the Spirit, God’s grace moves you on.* You are strong to do difficult tasks; you have the wisdom to solve problems as they arise. Everyone you meet takes it upon themselves to bless you and help you accomplish your purpose, then ALL the work of your hands get blessed, nothing fails in your hand, you become a great achiever in God and He sustains you in good health to function excellently.

*What more! The Lord has opened to you His good treasures, begin to enjoy it!*

*TOPIC: OBEDIENCE; THE KEY TO SUPERNATURAL EXPERIENCE*
JOHN 2:5, 2 KINGS 5:1-14, 2 KINGS 4:1-7

Your obedience is what connects you to the supernatural. *Until you begin to take the issue of obeying God very serious, you will keep being cut off from miracles and the supernatural.* Perhaps you have kept wondering why you hardly experience miracles or it seems that the supernatural is not real because you don't experience it.

The reason may not be far-fetched. Ask yourself, “Am I obeying God?” Since I came on the road of the calling, I can stand before the Master and tell Him I have obeyed everything I am sure He told me to do to date. That’s why our experience is in the dimension of the supernatural in the Dream Centre. *I encourage you to come on board in the road of obedience too and you will experience the supernatural.*

*All through the Scriptures, we see men who obeyed and had miracles in their lives.* From Naaman the leper who obeyed Elisha to dip seven times in Jordan, to the servants that Mary the mother of Jesus instructed to obey whatever Jesus told them to do at the marriage feast at Cana.

Also, remember the woman whose sons were to be enslaved but came to the man of God who told her what to do and she obeyed. Peter also who toiled all night and caught nothing but at the word of the Master, Jesus, let down his net and had a return of the double boat (Luke. 5:4–7), similarly, Peter stepped out of the boat at the Master’s word (Matt. 14:28:29). *Beloved, your obedience is what connects you to the supernatural dimension.*

*PRAYER:* Help me Lord to always have my obedience complete. Amen.

*TOPIC: KNOWING THE HOLY*
PROVERBS 9:10

Notice the phrase “the knowledge of the holy”. Do you know the holy? Do you know the sacred? *The ability to distinguish between the holy and the common is understanding, not smartness.*

When a man says he won’t pay tithe, he doesn’t know “the holy.” It is proof of a lack of understanding. *Holy things are not what men love or hate, but what God calls “holy”.* What God says are His, things that God identifies with, are sacred; they are not to be violated or treated anyhow.

When a man calls his pastor common, he has no understanding. When a man says his wife is like every other woman, he has no understanding. Belshazzar was judged drinking with Holy goblets (Dan. 5:1–16). The sons of Eli died eating ‘holy’ meat and doing common things in a ‘holy’ place (1 Sam. 2:22–25).

*What is holy?*

- Things that are untouchable for man.
- Things that are under a divine ban.
- Things that are not allowed to be handled anyhow.
- Ministry offices are holy.
- Church offerings are holy.
- God’s properties are holy.
- God’s people are holy.
- Your children are holy.
- God’s instructions to you are holy; they are not to be disobeyed or discussed.

If you violate one holy thing, you will violate any holy thing when the opportunity presents itself. *A man that doesn’t tithe will commit adultery someday when the mood is right! Revering the holy is the key to divine favour.*

*PRAYER:* Help me Lord to always distinguish between what is holy and what is profane (common). Amen.

*TOPIC: DON’T LET THE THINGS OF GOD LOOK FOOLISH OR STUPID TO YOU*
HEBREWS 11:6

*Let your attitude around the things of God be an attitude of faith and reverence.* God is a God of faith and without faith, it is impossible to please Him (Heb. 11:6). You must walk in faith in order to obtain and have the fullness of the benefits of your relationship with God and have everything He has planned for you.

*However, the devil’s goal is to let God’s things look foolish and stupid to you.* Beloved, the things of God don’t make sense many times, so trying to use sense and your brains will land you in error and in trouble, the things of God make faith. *Let your attitude toward God’s word, God’s moves, God’s servants and the anointing be an attitude of reverence and faith.*

*Having the wrong attitude will close the door on the flow of God around you.* So beloved, don’t let the devil attack the things of God that should help you and benefit you. You just have to develop an attitude of faith towards it.

Many believers have been victims of satanic assaults, because the devil had planned or set them up for disaster and no intervention would work for them, only because the things of the anointing have become foolish, hence of no effect to them. Therefore, the power that should have been their deliverance can no longer work for them.

*Beloved, don’t tread on the ground of familiarity.* Whenever you are involved in any spiritual exercise like praying and fasting, open up to God in faith. *Don’t let the devil make the move of God seem foolish to you.*

*PRAYER:* I judge every attack of hell to make the things of God look stupid to me. Amen.

*THE TEACHING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT*
JOHN 14:26

*You need to find out how the Holy Spirit teaches and how He guides.* *The Holy Spirit teaches us all things. No one on earth can teach you all things except the Holy Spirit.* Somebody can teach you Chemistry and may not know History. *Men are limited in their teachings, but this Teacher will teach you all things.*

He can teach you about your business, how to raise your children, how to relate with your spouse, about your studies, He can teach you politics and anything you can be involved with in life. Just submit yourself to Him and ask Him to teach you, guide you and lead you. Use your words, desires and will to bring Him into your affairs.

*The Holy Spirit is not just an influence, He is God! He is the greatest advantage you have in life.* Let Him usher you into the greatness that lies ahead of you. See what Jesus said about the Holy Spirit in John 15:26-27.

*The Holy Spirit will testify, bear witness to what is God’s will to your heart.* *He’ll give you a deep conviction of what to do and what not to do.* He doesn’t argue; He just puts a stamp of the truth on your spirit to let you know whether He is for or against what you’re thinking of or about to do. *As we move on in life, let Him be your guide and you will know no failure in Jesus’ name.*

*PRAYER:* Holy Spirit, I open up my life to Your leadership; teach me, lead me and guide me. Amen.

*TOPIC: YOUR RESPONSIBILITY IN EXPERIENCING THE DIVINE*
PSALM 71:7

God has divinely ordained and scheduled amazing things to happen for you as an individual and for us as a people, you must be faithful to do your part. Once you have done your part, God is committed to do that which you cannot do. *Only when you do what you can do is God committed to do that which you cannot do.* Don’t expect God to do for you what He has empowered you to do. Maximise your potential and your ability and you will see God arise and help you.

If you want to walk in the reality of that Scripture, beloved, do all that you can and all that is expected of you to do. *Remember that when you do all that is humanly possible, God swings into action to do that which is humanly impossible; when you do the possible, God does the impossible.*

Take heed to all the instructions that the Father will be giving to us as a church and to you as an individual. Don’t miss any instruction as you walk with God. *Don’t ignore any instruction and don’t flagrantly disobey any instruction.* Just as Naaman the leper, your instruction is critical to your miracle. *Take heed to every prophetic word and align your mouth and life with those prophetic utterances* as often as you can, and you will experience the amazing goodness of God in life.

*PRAYER:* Father, help me not to fail in my own responsibility at experiencing the Divine. Amen!

*TOPIC*: *PRIORITIZE DEVELOPING YOUR SPIRIT*
HEBREWS 12:23b, PROVERBS 18:14

*Your life has many parts but the spiritual side of your life is the foundation upon which all other aspects of your life depend*. Your spirit is the real you. 

Every human being has 3 parts – spirit, soul and body – but the spirit is the real man in every Christian and every Christian must understand that he is a spirit that has a soul and lives in a body. Therefore, *your spiritual stance and stamina are what determine how the other aspects of your life will stand – whether weak, strong or excellent*. The stronger your spirit, the stronger and more influential your life will be.

As a Joseph, you cannot afford to neglect the spirit side of your life. The time you spend to develop your spirit must be a very precious and sacred time to you because it is upon this that all other areas of your life depend.

*To take care of your spiritual life, you need to be constantly opened to the Father of all spirits - God*. He made your spirit and the strength of your spirit as a Christian and as a Joseph will flow from God. *You therefore must take time to fellowship with God, fellowship with God’s Word, fellowship with other men with stronger spirits*.

*PRAYER*: Help me Father to pay the price to develop my spirit. Amen.

PROVERBS 18:14

Work to strengthen your spirit man. Recognise that man has a tripartite nature. There is a need to be strong in your inner man. You are a spirit, who has a soul and lives in a body. Your spirit is that part of you that communes with God. *If your spirit will be able to lead your body and soul effectively, it must be stronger than your soul and your body.*

*It takes a stronger spirit to sustain a man, to lead your soul and body.* Certain believers are highly cerebral and can almost always explain every move of God away as merely physical occurrences. Such people are soulish people. Others are just emotional; their decisions are more emotionally based than spiritual.

*Steps to strengthen your spirit man include:*

*1. Give it life:* Getting born-again is the first step to strengthen your spirit man. Getting born-again brings your spirit man alive. You stop being just a body. Your conscience awakens and then you have a template to build on.

*2. Feed your spirit:*Matthew 4:4 - Your spirit needs God’s word to survive. Open up to God’s word. Hear the word, speak the word, confess the word, declare the word, read the word, think on the word, soak it in, memorise the word. Doing these will fatten your spirit and make it robust.

*3. Exercise your spirit:* Spend time to exercise your spirit man by praying in the Holy Ghost. Jude 20 - Praying in the Spirit causes your spirit man to rise up stronger like an edifice.

*4. Worship:* Spending time to worship God builds up your spirit.

*5. Protect your spirit* from pollutions and perversions.

*6. Meditate on God’s word.*

*PRAYER:* Help me, Father, to pay the price to develop my spirit. Amen.

Expectation brings manifestation. What you are expecting determines what manifests in your life. As I have always taught you, expect an answer when you pray. *When you start on the road of faith, don't change your confession; rather, expect a manifestation and expect what you are believing God for to manifest and come to pass.*

Over the years, God has come to us in many ways and through His servants, words have been spoken over you and processes are in motion for manifestation. However, *if you won't cancel the processes, you must be expectant; keep your mouth moving in the direction of your expectation.*

Many believers don’t expect what they are asking for, they only ask because there is nothing else to do. When Herod captured Peter to kill him after killing James, the disciples gathered together to pray; but as they prayed, they were not expectant. This was to the extent that when the angel went to release Peter from prison and led him to the house where they were praying, Peter knocked the door, but they refused to open. The maid saw it was Peter and still did not open. She ran back to tell others but they did not believe because they were not expecting him. They thought the maid must have seen a spirit, but she persisted and they confirmed and let Peter in.

*Beloved, the degree to which you are expecting determines the degree and speed of manifestation.* Do you wonder why some people pray and get the opposite? It’s not because God didn’t answer, but because they were expecting the worst to happen.

*You need to walk in faith and develop your faith in God.* However, you will need to walk and activate your faith in order to connect to and enter into the reality of everything God has prepared for you in life. You must have an understanding of faith and also know how to operate in faith. *How much faith you can operate will determine your level of prosperity in life and you must remember that faith is the divine equalizer.*

I want you to see that faith is tripartite, that is, faith has 3 major components: *The word of faith, the law of faith, and the spirit of faith.* These 3 dimensions will be needed for you to operate faith in a way that will produce power that can change things and situations. Faith will connect you to life at God’s level. It’s a life from the Spirit.

*Faith law is a law that controls forces on the earth,* so don’t violate the law of faith rather operate the law of faith in your favour. The law of faith is universal. It produces anywhere and everywhere.

There is a spirit of faith that comes alive in the regenerated man. So, don’t let it remain stale or dormant. *Renew that spirit in you by the word of faith. A famished spirit of faith cannot produce power for change.* Fellowship with God and fellowship with other spirits of faith will strengthen and renew the spirit of faith in you.

*A life of faith is your key to a victorious Christian life. Don’t be limited to reasoning and scheming; connect to the faith life.*

*TOPIC: THE WORK OF FAITH*
HABAKKUK 2:4

Never let anything replace faith in your life. *Faith is the divine lifeline that God has made available for you as a believer to climb out of any hole or difficulty in life.* I always tell you there are two things that the Lord asked me to master: how to be led by the Spirit and how to walk by faith. Faith is the key!

*There are some practical steps of faith I want you to always apply.*

*1. Identify what you want or what you are dealing with.* Place an identity on your desires or trouble. Faith prayers are focused and deliberate prayers, not vague. So put an identity to it.

*2. Get a promise for what you want.* Search Scriptures to see what God has said or promised on that matter you identified. God has said something about every issue in His Word.

*3. Put the promise in your mouth.* Keep confessing and declaring the promise. The solution to your problem is the promise, and only your declaration and confession can activate it.

*4. Begin to act in accordance with the promise and your confession.* Your action shows and reveals your beliefs, so act like it is so. Faith is acting like it is so when it does not seem to be so.

*5. Start calling those things that be not as though they are.* Start calling what you want or need that is not yet available or manifesting as if it now exists because it exists in the spirit realm and the more you call it forth, the more it manifests. Your words give life to it. Never ignore faith. Beloved, never let anything, anyone, replace your faith.

*PRAYER:* I receive divine enablement to do the work of faith. Amen.

*RUN THE DEVIL OUT OF YOUR LIFE.*
1 JOHN 4:4.

*Don’t tolerate the devil in your life.* Anytime you are praying and fasting, take the opportunity to ensure that you run the devil out of your life totally. *Don’t give him any more room to fester and flourish in your life either directly or indirectly.*

There are 5 attitudes you could have to the devil:

1. Tolerance for the devil

2. Rebuke the devil

3. Bind the devil

4. Flee from the appearance of evil

5. Ignore the devil

Two attitudes you must not keep towards the devil because these are dangerous attitudes:

*Don’t tolerate him: If you give the devil a seat in your life, he will take the steering wheel from you.* So don’t tolerate him in any form, whether in temptations, acts of the flesh or little acts of indulgence.

*Don’t ignore the devil: If you do, you will suddenly find out he has destroyed key and major things in your life.* So whenever you see the devil in your life, don’t ignore him. Identify what he is doing and fight him.

Beloved, watch out for anywhere the enemy is hiding to operate in your life and rebuke him or bind him and flee from every appearance of evil.
*There is a place to rebuke the devil and there is a place to bind him. There is also that place of fleeing from his appearance.* *Joseph fled from Potiphar’s wife when the devil came upon her to tempt him.* This was what Samson failed to do with Delilah and he was afflicted by the enemy.

*PRAYER:* The devil will not have a place in my life. Amen.

*DEVELOP FAITH FOR SUPERNATURAL LIVING*
PHILIPPIANS 4:19, EPHESIANS 3:19, HABAKKUK 2:3

*Everyone on the earth knows how they get their needs met and the will of God for His children is that we receive our needs from Him because He is the only unfailing source (Phil. 4:19; Eph. 3:19).* I want you to know that all the provisions of God for your life can only be received by faith, where you operate beyond the realm of the familiar.

*Supernatural Living is engaging the assistance of heaven in your earthly activities.* Some Christians are suffering today not because God has not provided for their needs but because they are not exploring the means that God has made available to get their needs met. It is wisdom for you to enlist all the forces at your disposal to get/obtain your desired result, and I want you to learn the steps involved in obtaining your desired result from God:

*(1) Get the promise* (the seed) from God’s Word or your prophecy (enhanced seed) from the Lord through the Holy Spirit;

*(2) Walk the process required;* and

*(3) Receive the product.*

*You can’t get from God through a promise (prophecy) what can only come through a process.*

*The promise/prophecy is the product in seed form, but you can’t win with promise/prophecy alone, you have to start the process in order to obtain the product (2 Tim. 1:18).* When you come across a promise/prophecy, the first three statements you make will determine whether conception happens or not, and without conception, you should not expect any result. When working the process, stay put because all God’s promises/prophecies are yea and amen (2 Cor. 1:20), and “...because it will surely come, it will not tarry (Hab. 2:3).”

*You are what you say. Your speech reveals who you really are.* Today’s text says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. The things in your heart get expressed in your speech. You are what you profess. *If your words are negative, then that is what you are.* But if your words are filled with faith and hope in God, then that is who you are and that is what you get.

*The Kingdom of God is a kingdom of words and speech.* God is a speaking Spirit and He made man in His own likeness and image; hence we are speaking spirits also. It is a matter of your declaration. *Your stand, your position in life matters is recognised by what you speak because your life will always follow your words.* Angels and demons are waiting for your speech.

*Beloved, your mouth is your key to determining how far you will go with God in life and how successful you will be on the earth.* You cannot afford to speak carelessly and you cannot afford for men to speak carelessly around you. Words transform into life, especially if you carry some level of anointing.

*Don't let the vocabulary of the world and that of your environment get you into trouble with God or reduce you to what you are not in God.* Open up your heart to God's words. Make time to allow your heart be washed with the Word of God and always deliberately align your professions with God's word. Declare it and you will see your life translate to become what you profess.

*Don’t let the devil steal your word.* His focus is to attack God’s word to you. If the devil can steal your word or confuse you over God’s word to you, he’ll gain the upper hand in your life. *The Word of God to you is your key to victory over the devil. Hold fast to God’s sure word to you.*

In the Dream Centre where God has spoken many good things concerning us, you can’t afford for the devil to steal your word. *The devil knows that God’s word will result in greatness for you when you believe it, work it and act on it, so he tries to steal it by:*

*a. Preventing your hearing:* Faith comes by hearing. The devil tries to keep your word from you by hindering your hearing. He tries to prevent you from every atmosphere where your word is to come or distract you from hearing even if you get to such atmosphere.

*b. Twisting your word:* Has God said…?” “Maybe it’s not really that.” “So and so also said that God spoke, but nothing came out of it. Are you sure it can happen just like that?” The devil successfully twisted God’s word to Eve.

*c. Lying about the word:* The devil must not successfully lie to you about God’s word. You should be convinced of the fact that God is never late. His word is ever true.

*d. Trivializing the word of God:* The devil says things like, “You better help yourself on this matter. Is it the Word of God you are believing with all certainty? Please find something better and use your common sense.”

TOPIC: THE POWER OF YOUR WORD
Proverbs 6:2

“Words are like emissaries, use them wisely.” The Lord spoke these words to me many years ago and I have taken time to master using words wisely and I want you to do the same.

The words that you speak and allow to flow through your mouth have great power to determine how you end up in life. Hearing the words, you speak, I can say, with great precision, how your life will end. Words have great power to build you up or tear you down. God uses words, the devil also uses words. Negative words bring destruction and discouragement; positive words bring healing and build up a man’s life into greatness.

Words carry spirit and when you speak words, depending on whether good/positive words or wicked/negative words, spirits are released to begin to act and work out those words. Good godly words release the Holy Spirit to work for you while evil negative words release evil spirits to work against you.

I have always said, “If I can get you to stop speaking negatively, even the most terrible life situations will change for good.” Your life flows rapidly in the direction of your words.

God’s power is captured and enclosed in God’s words. If you can get yourself to speak God’s words over that situation in your life, the power of God will take over. I want you to do an audit of your life and ask yourself, “In what direction is my life going?” If you don’t like that direction, don’t complain, just look into the Scriptures and then begin to speak them out over yourself.

Prayer: I abort every negative seed sown by my words in the past in Jesus’ name. Amen.

*TOPIC: MASTER YOUR TONGUE*
JAMES 3:6

Spiritual progress and promotion are issues and matters that come to you based on your qualification in the spirit. *You only get the progress and promotion that you qualify for.* The truth is that God arranges divine tests for you as you go on in your spiritual life, and promotions and progress only come when you pass the tests of God.

I want you to note that *you don’t qualify to progress spiritually until you master how to use your tongue.* The use of your tongue is a major test that you must learn to pass with God because there is a level of promotion and progress that you can never attain if you have not mastered your tongue. The Scriptures show us that the wheel of life is turned around by the use of our tongue; the entire wheel of life!

*Mastering the use of your tongue has to do with your confessions, especially in times of crisis.* Are your confessions always in line with God’s words and promises? Are they words of faith or words of fear? What you say about yourself and what you say about other people are very important.

I want you to do a guide test for yourself: *if God were to do everything you say, do you think the people around you and even yourself will be safe?* If this answer is negative, you will need to do some work because you don’t qualify for spiritual progress yet.

*Staying with the Word of God in reading, studying, memorizing and obeying consistently will help you change and master your tongue.*

*TOPIC: UNDERSTANDING LEADERSHIP, SUPERIORITY AND COMPETITION*
2 Corinthians 10:12

If you observe God’s order carefully, you’ll see that He introduced leadership to every structure He created. There is no competition or superiority among God the Father, Jesus and Holy Ghost. Similarly, *there should never be competition in the life of a person truly born of God and controlled by the Spirit of God. The concepts of competition and superiority are the products of Satan’s spirit.* Satan was the first to compete with God for leadership in heaven.

*Look at some other areas where God has introduced leadership, not competition or superiority:*

*1. The Body of Christ:* There is the leadership of an apostle in the 5-fold ministry gifts, not superiority.

*2. Local Church:* There is the leadership of the pastor over the flock, not superiority.

*3. Home:* There is the leadership of the husband over his wife and children, not superiority.

*4. Society:* There is the leadership of the governor over the governed, not superiority.

There is never superiority within the same class of beings, only leadership. Superiority or inferiority only happens between different classes of beings. For example, man is superior to animals and man is superior to plants because they belong to different classes of beings. *However, no man is superior to another man because all men are created in the image of God and they belong to the same class of being.* The basis of colour, gender, age, education, possession or position doesn’t change that. For example, the white man is not superior to the black man. A man is not superior to a woman; the aged is not superior to the younger; the strong is not superior to the weak; the rich is not superior to the poor.

*PRAYER:* Father, I allow the leadership of Your purpose in my life. I refuse inferiority and superiority; I refuse comparison with others in Jesus’ name.

*As a Christian, your major problem is not what the devil told you. Your major problem is what God has said that you have not heard. Your problem is what God has shown that you have not seen.* Let the visions of God captivate your soul; give no place to the devil.

In Numbers 13, Moses sent twelve spies to the Promised Land. When they returned, they all came back with reports of what they had seen. Ten came back with reports of seeing the giants in the Promised Land; they saw what the devil was showing them. But two men, Caleb and Joshua, decided to see differently. They refused to see the giants like the other ten men. Instead, they saw the Promised Land and the greatness of their God. It was a personal choice.

What each man saw determined his next words. The ten said, “We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we”. They ended their journey right there. But Caleb and Joshua focused on their revelation of God and said, “Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” In the end, Caleb and Joshua outlived the others; they inherited God’s promises. The other ten died in the wilderness.

No matter the visible situations confronting you, there is an invisible side that God wants to show you. Choose to see the ability of your God. Don’t see what the devil is showing you.

*PRAYER:* Lord, I make a covenant with my eyes today. I refuse to see what the devil is showing. I keep Your promises before my eyes. Amen.

*TOPIC: FOUR SEATS A LEADER MUST NOT OCCUPY*
Job 29:15

*1. The Blind*
The leader’s office is to give eyes to the blind. *If a man lacks vision and direction in life, he cannot be a leader.* By divine order, he will be led by another man with vision and direction. Leaders repair others’ broken vision and take them beyond their natural sight.

*2. The Deaf*
In addition to seeing, the leader must hear. *He must constantly hear and trust the voice of God* in his born-again spirit to give him instruction and direction. Isaiah 50:4, “… he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.”

*3. The Lame*
A lame person is dependent on others, not on God, for his mobility. He cannot move, walk or take actions for himself without the permission of others. *When a leader is lame, he will be indecisive,* become vulnerable and ultimately become a prey to the enemy.

*4. The Dumb*
A leader’s voice must not be uncertain or weak. On every issue, people must know and understand the dealings of God through the leader. *Do not let fear or intimidation seize your voice.* Clearly and strongly communicate your instructions from God to your people. *Your voice must not be an emotional voice of weakness.* When Haman threatened the Jews in the book of Esther, Mordecai didn’t suggest to Esther, he told her very clearly. Esther 4:13, “… Think not with thyself that thou shalt escape in the king’s house, more than all the Jews”

*TOPIC: CAN THE BLIND LEAD THE BLIND?*
2 Kings 6:17.

*Blindness in leadership is not the absence of physical eyes.* *You can have eyes and yet not see what God is showing you. A leader must see deeper, he must have access to visions of God to take his people forward.* If you are in any position of leadership and all you can see is what everyone else sees, you have already failed. *WHEN battles in the place of leadership show up, the only reason you will not be terrified and collapse is because you have a God-given vision.* If your people cannot see, you must see clearly and strongly.

In 2 Kings 6, Gehazi, Elisha’s servant, was terrified of a host of enemy armies that had surrounded their city. He asked Elisha, “Alas, my master! How shall we do?” He saw the enemy and was gripped with fear, so he cried out. Gehazi was blind to the realities of the spirit, but *Elisha was not blind. He could see beyond his natural eyes. In the physical, they were surrounded by enemies around the city. But in the spirit, the mountains around Elisha and Gehazi were full of angelic armies on chariots of fire.* What do you see? Do you see enemies around you or angels around you?

Despite what your physical eyes show you, you must be able to see and focus on what God is showing you. The visions of God are always superior, greater and higher than your physical situation. *Don’t be the blind leader. Don’t fail the trust of those following you.*

*PRAYER:* Father, open my eyes, help me to see what you are showing me. I won’t see with my natural eyes. I will see with the eyes of the spirit. Amen

*Leaders don’t dance around problems, they solve them. Make sure you stop reporting problems and start attacking problems.* As a wife, before your husband will hear about a problem, it must be that you have done everything you can and it’s not working. *If you’re a junior staff at a firm, make sure that the only problems you refer to your boss are outside of your scope of authority and function.* Very soon, colleagues and superiors will soon take note of you for promotion because you solve problems wherever you meet one.

*Every boss and person in higher authority is looking for somebody that can solve problems.* They already know the problems and they don’t need somebody else to amplify them. Some people will always see the problem in every good thing, but *you must be the person that sees the solution in every problem. Train yourself to do that.* The ability to solve problems is not inborn; no one brought it from heaven. Stop yourself from reporting problems and start saying, “What’s wrong here? Let’s deal with the problem.” Only refer major issues to your leader’s attention.

*Nobody is rewarded for intentions; we’re rewarded for things we do!* Start rating yourself on your deeds in life, not just your intentions as you begin to go through life. Most times, we rate every other person on their deeds but we rate ourselves by our intentions: “I intend to do this, I intend to do that.” If you’re going to force yourself to function optimally with the leadership life that God puts in you, then *you should start rating yourself on what you actually did, not what you intended to do.*

*LEADERS MASTER THE ART OF DIFFERENTIATING.*
Ezekiel 44:15 (NIV), Leviticus 10:1-10, 1 Samuel 26:9, Acts 5:25-29.

*Everywhere you go and whatever you do, as a leader, you must differentiate between people, places, things, circumstances and events.* *Your ability to differentiate properly in life will earn you a lot of favour before God and man.* If you look at the passage excerpt in Ezekiel 44, God said that as a matter of priority, the priests of the nation of Israel must teach the children of Israel the difference between the holy and the common.

You can see, therefore, that God does not joke with differentiation. It is a divine demand upon God’s people. When you generalize, you make common what God has called holy and call holy what God has called common. A Christian that generalizes will cross many lines with God and will ultimately get into trouble with God. It is easy to generalize as you go through life, but we must learn to differentiate.

*Differentiate between what is holy and what is common, what is special to God and what is not special. Differentiate between people; all men are not the same in life status and in their standing before God.* Differentiate between moments in your life – not every moment is critical to you. Differentiate between meetings. Differentiate between the different seasons of your life. Differentiate between places. The house of God is not the same as your bedroom – the sons of Eli did not learn this lesson and God had to kill them (1 Sam 2:12-17).


*PRAYER:* Father, help me to master how to differentiate things correctly in Jesus' name.

Proverbs 24:30-34

The person in the above passage is a learner. He said even the field of the slothful has some lessons to teach us if we look very well. *Go through life as a learner; stop going through life as an earner,* someone who wants to take something from people. *It is better to sit down with people and look at what you can learn from them.* You can learn from a stupid person when he refuses to learn from you. I counsel you again to learn everywhere, every time and from everyone.

Don’t let any situation pass without asking yourself, “What did I learn from this situation?” *By the time you are leaving bachelorhood into marriage, what lessons are you bringing into marriage?* What learnings are you bringing there? Most people enter certain levels of life without any learning to handle the new level. *God doesn’t promote you until you have learnt what is needed where you are going to.*

To learn, you MUST listen, and to listen, you must learn to keep quiet or shut up where it matters. *There are places where you are the one giving instructions and there are places where you take your pen to write your instructions down.* One of those places is during your Quiet Time. *Most of our quiet time is a request meeting, and you must stop making your quiet time a request meeting; let it be a listening time.* You should have some time that you go into the presence of the Father and say, “Holy Spirit, You are my Teacher, I have brought my empty note and pen, please talk to me now.”

*TOPIC: LEADERS LEARN (2)*
Matthew 11:28-30, Proverbs 1:5; 6:6-8; 22:24-25, 24:30-34

We shall continue from where we stopped yesterday.

*4. An enemy:* This is learning from your enemy. This does not mean you should receive gifts from your enemy. This kind of learning is a skill we must develop. When an enemy talks, you’ll want to fight him, but what can you learn from him? Find out and let that be your focus.

*5. A fool/failure:* This also means learning from people that are suffering for their mistakes and folly. You must develop a skill to learn from them.

*When you are learning from a senior, ensure you are learning from someone that is a champion.* His/her wisdom is a blessing and all the things you are learning are obvious things that you can see in his/her life. However, if you are to learn from the other categories of people, you will have to develop the skills to learn from them.

*If you are going to be a good learner, you must learn when to learn.* There are seasons in your life that are the most appropriate for learning and other times are not appropriate for learning. Learn when you are down, when you are rising in life, when you fail, and when it is not convenient. *When you are angry is another good time to learn because the person that makes you angry controls your life.* Don’t ever forget that. Learn everywhere. Train yourself to learn everywhere. *In every situation, ask yourself, “What am I learning from this? What lesson am I to learn from this person, from this situation, from this event?”*

*PRAYER:* Father, help me to develop the skills I need to learn from every channel you are using for me in Jesus’ name.

*TOPIC: LEADERS LEARN (1)*

*Learning is a subject every child of God must take seriously if he/she plans to succeed in life and destiny.* When you acquire critical learnings, you’re never left the same because learning will help you become something in the hand of God for your generation and the people that God has sent you to. *The first critical learning you must acquire is learning to learn. This means applying oneself to the activity of learning.*

*We can learn from five personalities:*

*1. A senior:* The senior is the person that everybody wants to learn from. This is somebody ahead of you. God will place a man ahead of you and demand that you learn from that person. You will do yourself a lot of good if you pay attention to the things that God wants you to learn from such a person.

*2. A colleague:* This is the most difficult area of learning. This is because an average person tends to argue with a colleague than with a senior. The truth, however, is that somebody has something that you don’t have and if it’s a colleague, you must not make things difficult for yourself. Rather, be humble and learn what you have to learn from that person.

*3. A junior:* God will sometimes hide answers or critical learning for us in small people. God will sometimes place some small people around you to give you something that could connect you to something great. God is not just the God of great things and big things; He is also the God of small things and small people.

*PRAYER:* Father, I choose this day to be taught of You. Open my eyes to see all the channels You have chosen to teach me through in Jesus’ name.

*TOPIC: LEADERS LISTEN*
Psalm 62:11, Isaiah 50:4-5

This morning, I would like to emphasize to you that as a leader, you must listen. *Listen to what people are saying and listen to what people have not said that they are saying.* A man of God said, “At 2:00 am yesterday, God spoke to me.” What he has said was that God spoke to him at 2:00 am, but he has not said what he was doing at 2:00 am that made God speak to him. You were sleeping at 2:00 am, but what was he doing? Find out. *Listen! People are saying some things that they are not saying verbally.*

*Leadership, success, and wealth will give you two things: false friends and genuine enemies.* Almost everyone says “Your Excellency” to politicians because of what they need from the politicians. If anything happens to those politicians, they will be the first set of persons to tear them apart. *Nobody comes to ask a leader for his or her reasons for doing some things, but they will explain the matter to other people in their way.* Nobody is going to ask for your intentions.

I function majorly in pastoral leadership and have to be careful because sometimes people bring information without substance. *You should not build your life and leadership around speculations* and because *leadership can only be effective to the quality of information available to leaders, you must listen, listen, listen, and listen.* If you are a boss or you own a business, listen to what your staff members are saying and listen to what they are not saying. They may be grumbling without you knowing it.

*PRAYER:* Father, open my ears to hear like the learned. Help me never to miss Your voice and help me Lord to hear what is being said and what is not being said.

*LEADERS WAIT ON GOD BEFORE TAKING DECISIONS*
Acts 4:23; Daniel 3:13, 17-19.

*God is looking for Christian leadership that will wait upon Him* and bring a proposed decision that will be binding over people and nations. *The higher your leadership level, the greater the damage you will cause with every wrong decision.*

*Therefore, every successful leader must learn to wait upon God.* *Your life is either destroyed by bad leadership or it is accelerated by good leadership.* In waiting upon God, He purifies your facts and helps you get other spiritually correct facts because one wrong step by a leader can cost lives.

*No one becomes a leader by accident.* Every leader, whether political, family, generational, or spiritual, must understand that he will give an account to the God that put him in such a position.

*Leaders must wait upon God and weigh matters in the presence of God.* Never be afraid of taking decisions. *The longer you delay decisions, the more you are destroying leadership life.* You must come to a place that you move from desire to decision. *Nothing gets moving until a leader takes a decision.*

*A leader must develop himself to a place where he can listen to some things inside himself even when his brain is questioning that perception.* Listen to yourself; don't listen to voices around you. *Leaders don't joke with information.* Some information can come by chance even when you are not looking for it. Somebody just told you that another person is doing something wrong or somebody is misbehaving. Dig into it until you lay hold on the truth.


*PRAYER:* Holy Spirit, help me to sharpen my sensitivity. I will not take wrong decisions or steps that will cause severe damage to people and the next generation.

*There is nothing as unintelligent as somebody who doesn't know but thinks he knows.* The truth of the matter is that *50% of everything you will learn in life will be by your effort, and 50% will be by somebody else's effort.* How much you know in life today will be determined by what you're doing with the 50% you are supposed to get from outside of yourself.

*There are different levels of knowledge:*
a. When you don't know that you don't know,
b. When you know that you don't know,
c. When you don't know that you know, and
d. When you know that you know.

According to Phil. 3:15, you can be thus minded or otherwise minded. If you are otherwise minded on a certain truth, it means something is still hidden to you as far as that truth is concerned. If it's the truth, God will reveal it to you. Don't discard something because you are otherwise minded but ask God to show you what you are not seeing. *It's an ignorant man that fights the truth that he doesn't know.*

*When you think about a matter, you see into it because your mind has eyes.* The eyes of the mind are called understanding and insight. When you think, you will see life differently. We're not equal in life, though we are equal in creation. Some people have spent all their years thinking about stupid things, materials and people, and they've engaged in negative discussions. *Get into a relationship with solid thinkers* – men that think at high levels. You can fellowship with them by reading their books, attending their meetings, and by personal interaction. *Don't just sit down listening to things alone. Listen to things and think!*

*PRAYER:* Lord, show me what I am not seeing. Enlighten my heart to improve my thought pattern and leadership life.

*YOUR THOUGHT PATTERN WILL IMPROVE THE LEVEL OF YOUR LEADERSHIP LIFE (2) - Philippians 3:13-19; Proverbs 13:23*





You must be careful what you're thinking about. You are known by your thoughts. Your thoughts are expressed in your words. If your thoughts are stupid or noble, your words will reveal them. Thoughts become actions, and many things will not change in your life and circumstances until your thoughts change. Force yourself to review your thinking. If you are afraid, thinking about the wrong things caused that fear. Review it and choose deliberately to give your mind something else to think upon. You have the power and the ability to force your mind to think about something different. If you're going to develop a leadership life, then you have to sit down and think.

Deliberately empty your mind of things you have done in order to prepare for things you are yet to do. Don't build monuments in your mind to your accomplishments and think you have done something (Phil. 3:13-14). Our maturity is seen in our thinking. Consciously develop your mind to a level that you see many dimensions to the same information that others have access to. Human minds can be lazy. In fact, the worst kind of laziness is mental laziness. This manifests in things like procrastination - “I intend to …”, “I'm planning to …” Don't just intend or plan; work on it. Physical laziness is not as dangerous as mental laziness. The poor are too lazy to think, work and do many things (Proverbs 13:23). That's why many people settle for a job that is basically physical in life. If you apply some little thought, you can improve your work and career.



PRAYER: Lord, I receive grace for mental strength. I choose not to be mentally lazy. I receive the power to improve my thought pattern.
