Christianity EtcRe: Why Pastor Bakare Left Deeper Life Church: Television! by DoctorStephen(m): 5:27pm On Nov 08, 2014
I like people commenting on what they understand.
In Christendom, actions are based on being "fully persuaded". Though it is gravely risky to be sincerely wrong. That is why we are enjoined to "search the scriptures".
If I am serious about getting to heaven, there are some things that I will gladly abstain from, even if it is not a sin, but just part of the "appearances of evil", that the scriptures say we should abstain from.
The Deeper Christian Life Ministry is one of people separated to God, like the old testament levites.
God bless you all.

Politics2015 General Elections: Why Must I Vote? Recruit Dogs to Watch Polling Booths by DoctorStephen(op):
Goodafternoon, Nigerians.
The song being currently sung by Nigerians is the 2015 general elections. As much as you know, can you tell whether it will even hold? If it holds, why should I vote?
Nigerians have been voting all these years, but does it really worth it?Especially with the mass-threading by the elite class?
Have you ever thought about it that if you have the right to vote, you should also have the right to be voted for?
Now,if I wanttovote,whoshould I votefor,tellme. Isit Buhari, Atiku,ormybeloved Dr Goodluck?
It is onethingtovote, another thing to allowthat persontodo hisbest in office. Knowthis today, Opposition in Nigeria, hasbeen the worst thing that has happened to us as a nation.
WARNING!
(It is not a crime not to vote, and it is very good to vote)
However,
* Don't vote because you were asked to
* Don't vote to drive out your personal enemy out of office
* Don't vote if you don't have a credible candidate that you are convinced about
* Don't vote because of the party but the person
PoliticsBuhari Again? Are These Politicians Taking Us For Fools? by DoctorStephen(op):
Few days ago, Gen Buhari stated that he borrowed from the bank to get himself into the race for the 2015 presidential election.
Now, it seems this elder state man has an ulterior motive. Or, why must he rule Nigeria again?
Let it be known that we don't want him to sell us to repay this loan and the other loans he will use to fuel his ambition. In 2011, after he lost, there was bloodshed, if he loses again, aren't we going to get more bloodshed?
Nigeria belongs to all of us. Or, was he sleeping when he was the military ruler of this nation. What did he forget in office?
God save us.
My charge to Nigerians is that they should not support or engage in crises that neither Buhari or Goodluck's families will suffer from. Are they actually interested in you? You can't tell.
Hmm
PoliticsRe: Don't Vote Parties! Vote Vision by DoctorStephen(m): 4:16pm On Oct 12, 2014
Great Post!
This is the first time I see someone share the same view, that the political parties in Nigeria have the same ideology- sieze or hold power.
They use the Nigerian electorates for winning elections only to dump them afterwards.

Nigerians are aggresive and dishonest. They chant "Giant of Africa" at any opportunity they get. They are loud and mannerless. They think they own the world. They go to other countries and start bullying their hosts.

PoliticsThe YSF Initiative: We Can Stamp Out Corruption From The Police by DoctorStephen(op):
The Youth Saving the Future Inititive wants the currupt persons in the Nigerian Police Force to know that it is in for an intense fight against their excesses.

.
Why should the youths fight curruption in the police?
It will help to secure us our future by making us live in a safe society.
So, what should the youths do?
Your phone is the weapon. Take the picture of any officer collecting bribe, or make a video of any currupt scene- you may also record the voice. Do this secretely.
Then, post on facebook, a designated website, or send to the force headquatres.

.
Help the police, report suspicious elements and criminals.
Ensure a safe society.
The police is truly your friend.

DoctorStephen:
You might have wondered whether your eyes saw clearly when you saw the heading.Don't be surprised,it's simply real!
The TRUE PICTURE of JESUS CHRIST,you must hear this,is the true Christian, who
*lives as Christ would live,
*talks as He would talk,
*dresses as He would dress,
*acts as He would act,
*loves what He would love,
*hates what He would hate,
*allows what He would allow,
*condemns what He would condemn,
*promotes what He would promote,
if He were physically present with us here in this 21st century.
John13:15"..do as I have done.."

And all these have been addressed by the Holy Scriptures.Have we been obeying them?

The Bible says
``Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal,The Lord knoweth them that are his. And,Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity'' 2Timothy2:19

If we obey this injunction,we shall be Christians indeed-full of HOLINESS AND THE HOLY GHOST POWER!

BusinessYou Made Yourself Poor,Blame Not The Government! by DoctorStephen(op):
If ever you are poor, it's your fault. If you blame others for your poverty or misery, you have not yet learnt your lesson. If you blame yourself, you've also not learnt enough.

It is true that you caused whatever you face today, it is also true that other poor people have also done likewise, though not much. The difference between the poor and the rich is the thinking pattern, the working pattern and the spending pattern.

Who wants you to be rich? Tell me. So why blame the people who never wanted you rich? Do you know why you are poor? What you say, what you do, where you live, where you go, the people around you, the things you like, what you read, what you listen to, etc.

You can't just wish to be rich, you don't blame others, you don't keep expecting the government to help you, if you want to be rich.

Do you major on liabilities, bank loans, cooperative loans, begging, salaries? This are not the way.
Buy assets-what will bring you money, not what will take money from you.

Donmarrius: On the 'partly' aspect,which you tagged leadership,hear this;
No ethnic group in Nigeria,is suffering from dearth of leaders, but the present way Nigeria is being constituted, breeds corruption, because our leaders are not answerable to us,but to their paymaster in Aso Rock, and state government houses.
Take for instance,in the era when Nigeria was practising true federalism,Awo was answerable to his peopld in the west, and so also M.I Okpara in the East, etc, these leaders are great, and corruption was at its bearest minimium, unlike now.
Therefore, its not about leadership, but the system.

You also made mention of Leadership in UK,and US.
Are you aware that those countries practice true federalism,a psuedo autonomous states within the country?.
Are aware that scot has their own parliament?.
Please always analyse issues, before delving into them.
I am happy to learn from you. Thank you

..meet people's need-and they'll appreciate you for this, what others can do for you let them do, invest for the future not for the present day, have good forsight.
Dream big, as the size of your life is the size of your dreams. Never cheat anyone, or steal- these will soil your reputation, and that asset money can't buy.

What if i don't have the startup capital?
What to do is to make the assets. Don't ask me how, if you must be rich, then you must be able to answer simple questions.
Rich people are made, not born. Those who inherit wealth, must learn to be wealthy. That is why it is better to grow into wealth than to be born into wealth.

However, what shall it profit a man if he gains the whole world but looses his soul.
Repent from your life of sin-which is pure vanity, and give your life to Jesus Christ today. He loves you.
Join the group of wealthy saints- its so sweet!

The love of money is the root of all evil, remember!
Don't love money, make money love you.

.... Let the truth and sincerity be our watchword.
If perhaps, Nigeria is divided today, expect a more invasion of our economy from the big mouthed countries, properties will be lost, war is not going to be uncommon, generational hatred, more poverty- the disolution will favour some and military regime again?

However, if we remain one, in the next 10 years, Nigeria will be a first world country. We shall be exporting cars, trains, aircrafts, etc. This is not just a wish, it is the reason for the TRANSFORMATION AGENDA, of the Goodluck Jonathan government.

Support peace, support development- it's for the general good of all.
Thank You

With calls from various quarters to dissolve the entity called Nigeria, it expedient that we apply some wisdom here.

Do you know that the US, China, UK, are great nations today partly to their good leaders and especially their numbers.

Nigeria definitely is the pride of Africa, no doubt, the envy of S/A, Ghana and other countries. If you dont believe this, visit those countries and see how you will be treated.

However, a house divided against itself cannot stand. Let's stop blackmailing our leaders, its will never help, doing this. And if you a Christian, I believe you should know that we are not supposed to speak ill of our leaders.
Come to think of it, you and I were alive when Chief Obasanjo was the president. He was condemned, abused, some would even curse him then, some wished him dead. Why all this?
Now, he is our man; the same thing that others faced.

Politicians and journalists should fear God, and do the right thing; prosecute criminals don't propagate falsehood to score cheap fame....
