Exactly, everything get him own time. Na earbuds and earpods dey reign now. Very soon they'll fade and something else will take over. It's just a Nigerian thingy. People still use selfie sticks alot abroad. Nigerians just like following weytin dey trend and at the end they won't be able to sustain it.

There was a time around 2013-2015 when selfie sticks reigned in naija. The ladies loved it. Some lost their womb because of it, some lost their virginity for slefie stick, go to ShopRite those days ehn , all the ladies go just dey carry selfie stick dey snap up and down.

Now it seems selfie sticks have faded away like a fart in a sand storm. Na weytin do blackberry phones do this thing? I no understand.

It's dicey... Sometimes they upload your contacts to their servers. When it's time to deal with you, they just copy and paste random contacts ten blast embarassing messages in bulk to all of them. Apps like sokoloan and it's related apps like go cash will start threatening you and blasting messages in the exact date your loan is due. They won't even wait till the due date elapse. So ridiculous.

Since you've worked for them before, tell us. What can be done to prevent them acessing your contacts.?

borrow from another loan and pay dem. Try Xcrosscash or Kashkash. They give 14k loan for starters

Please never make the mistake of taking a loan to pay up another loan. Naso troubles dey start

To remove them from having access to your contact list and messages, Go to your settings and open apps and notifications then click permission manager,you will see calendar,call logs,camera, contacts, location, microphone,phone,sms and storage.click on these apps I just mentioned and and click deny on every one of them,once it is done they will stop calling and sending messages to your contacts.I defaulted in paying my loan for a day due to the fact that I travelled and there was no network over there to repay my loan though I have paid half of the loan before travelled.when I came back the next day my friends called me and told me that sokoloan said I am a thief,that I duped them and ran away with their money,that I cannot be trusted.even the girl from sokoloan that called me was unapologetic and even threatened me with calls,text messages and what's app messages.At the juncture I screen shotted my account balance and sent to her for her to see that I am able and capable to pay the money. I denied them access to all the applications I mentioned and above and told them that I will never pay that money again that they have just succeeded in blackmailing and assassinating my character,that I will only pay that money unless they send a message to my contacts apologizing and telling them that they acted in error.It is over four months and I have not paid the loan and will never pay it.they don't have access to my contact list again and as a result of that they have been cajoling me to pay the loan by promising to give me loan upto 100k once I pay the loan.my brother this online loan company are usurpers,their interest rate is exorbitant,I advice you to desist from borrowing loan from them again.

If you have serious and influential people on your contact list, don't try it. Alot of people have lost their jobs to this nonsense.

Do they come to your house address? And also what can be done to prevent them sending messages to your contacts. I made half payments today and told the rude customer care girl I promise to pay the remaining 30% by Friday. She wasn't having any of it and threatened to teach me a lesson I'll never forget. In her words

"I'll teach you a lesson you will never forget".

I was like what's wrong with this girl. At least have patience I'll be paying the rest by Friday and if I don't, you can go ahead with your threats. She hissed and hung up. 5 min later, I got a text from her saying she gives me an ultimatum till 4pm else she'll bring police, report to efcc, bring soldier , report to credit bereu etc. I just ignored not until I started receiving calls from friends and families that they've been getting some messages about me tagging me a criminal and chronic debtor on the run with companies money and I'll be arrested and jailed soon.. haaa I was shocked mehn. They all thought I stole millions of naira from government vault or CBN. I was ashamed to tell them it was 7k. My fiancee got the message and had a panic attack, she was already in tears when I got home. She called me severally before getting home but I refused to pick up because I knew she must have gotten the message too.

From my knowledge, it's a routine thing they do. Avoid these apps

Soko loan, kashkash, 9credit, cashlion , nairaplus, gocash and many more. They'll ruin your image.

Those guys are very dumb. Do you think you can blackmail someone and still expect him to pay o.. like it doesn't make sense bro.. you sent ridiculous messages to someone's contacts and you still expect him to pay you lol. I told the guy I'm not paying a dime any longer . They'll start threatening with them go block bvn etc how is it possible to block someone's bvn abeg.. they're not even licenced. Coz you can't be offering loans and expect to be repaid within 6 days. This one gave me 20k to pay 28 k in 14 days lol. CBN doesn't accept such policies . Those guys need to be taught a bitter lesson.

Guy listen to me, stop paying those loan apps. The worst they can do is that they will call or message all your contacts. After that life continues.

If you are scared that as soon as money enters your account they will automatically deduct it, that's not a problem, break all your ATM cards attached to those accounts and run to the bank to obtain new ones. ( All the infos with the former cards attached to those accounts will be useless and they won't be able to automatically deduct from your account anymore)

Loan apps in Nigeria are clearly exploiting the masses and the CBN need to do something about it on time.

Bro pls I need your advice. Do these loan apps visit you in the address you provided during registration? I've been a good customer of kashkash for a while and I've never defaulted. However , yesterday there was a delay in the money I was expecting . To God who made me, my plan was to pay kashkash immediately I got the alert . However their customer care called me and was going Gaga. I told him to give me till Monday and if I don't pay by Monday, he can go ahead to message my contacts. That was the assurance I gave him.. Later he sent a text giving me an ultimatum of 4 hours else he'll be coming with police etc. Hours later he still sent demeaning messages to my contacts. The guy still had the guts to call me asking for money , I reminded him about the messages he sent to my contacts and I wasn't gonna pay a dime until he sends back a disclaimer to all of them. He started threatening me with police etc. Can these people actually visit your house with police?

Also is there a way to bypass them not accessing your contacts?
