I am feeling empty and blank. I might now be insensitive to pain and trauma. I am tired of trying failing and being stagnant in life. I need a relief, someone to talk to, to offer advice, someone that would show empathy.

Like op said, Irrespective of whether you feel like praying or not, Ensure you pray. Because the truth is if you are to go by feelings, you will scarcely pray.

Prayer is life. Prayer is an investment. Prayer is power. Almost everything that happens to us is as a result of Praying or not praying.

One of the ways to boost your prayer life, is to engage in Fasting. When you Fast you starve the Flesh, but you feed and boost the Spirit man. The truth is you cannot be Foodful and be prayerful.

In the place of Prayer, don't be selfish. Don't just focus Prayers on yourself. Pray for others. Pray for people you know and people you don't know. Pray for the salvation of souls. Pray for Nations and continents.
In the place of prayer, don't just be about physical needs, pray for spiritual gifts.

Most Important, Ensure your prayers are made in righteousness and Holiness. Because the Prayers of a sinner is an abomination to the Lord.

GOD give us Grace.

Lord, I long to worship you and to receive the spiritual and physical refreshment you want to give me. I thank you for lighting my way when darkness makes it hard. I thank you for your mercy and pray that I will continually work for your purification here and now. Lord, I put myself in your hands. Help me to say yes to you each step along the path of my life. I know that you are standing by me in the midst of all my challenges. Help me to find my courage in you, no matter my circumstances. I place my faith in the victory you have won for me on the cross. Give me your grace and strength so that I can overcome my weaknesses. Teach me how to keep my eyes focused on you, so that I can experience your blessings. By your grace, help me to do the work you have set aside for me today. Holy Spirit, I welcome you into my life and ask you to touch the parts of me that need to be set free. As I seek to know you more, open my heart to your promptings. Help me to be still and listen so that I can become a bearer of your word to the people you put in my path. Amen.

The truth is that HE PO has a track record of humility ever since I got to know him back in 2006. Nobody can dispute that. However, when it comes to track record of performance, HE BAT is no one. That doesn't mean he(HE PO ) was a failure. But take it or leave it, the later outperformed the former.

Today while correcting a subordinate at work on what she did wrong, she shouted at me out of blues in front of other staff members claiming that I was shouting at her, while all I did was point out what she did wrong......A few minutes later she's already at HR accusing me of repeatedly shouting at her....

It's the first time I'm experiencing this, having not done something similar to any of my bosses before, I'm at loss at how to deal with this. HR has asked me to send in my report so they can follow it up, but I don't just know if that will take care of the root cause of her actions today
