Maonyz: Does he sleep with her? What is "does he sleep with her?" Doesn't she sleep with him as well? They both make love (ie if they do) and not one person sleeping with other. That you're having sex with ur bf doesn't mean you're helping him out. If marriage is because of sex, I bet you 99% of men will choose to remain single. I for one started having sex because my gf then badly needs it, not because I need it. So you girls should change your perspective on this "sleeping with her" of a thing. Afterall you're the ones that enjoys it most. |

https://www.hopefornigeriaonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/08/DOTW-Soccket-04-620x270.jpg A 19-year-old Harvard psychology student Jessica Matthews, visited relatives in Nigeria to spend summer. she noticed 2 things-the lights frequently went out, and also to make things worse her family, like several African families, must depend on kerosene, a gas that causes health as well as ecological hazards. Matthews also could not help but discover that everybody was actively playing soccer. Children, teenagers, as well as adults all over the place were enjoying soccer on the roads with makeshift gear made out of something they found. When she returned to Harvard, her encounter in Nigeria had been the inspiration for the class project which eventually started to be an impossible social invention, the Soccket, an electricity using soccer ball created to generate several hours of light right after 30 minutes of play. In making this device, Matthews bridged the community’s necessity for reliable electrical power using their passion for soccer. Kicking The Strategy to a Brighter Future In the course of her junior year at Harvard, she met Julia Silvermam, a fellow student. Together with no engineering history, the 2 of them created the original Soccket model. They performed this through placing a shake-to-charge flashlight within a hamster ball, as well as finding that once they thrown the ball round the flashlight lighted. The concept started on entrepreneurial fire within Matthews, when she as well as her team persisted to work to master the Soccket as well as launch Uncharted Play in the year 2011. That isn’t to convey that Matthews did not experience challenges throughout the development procedure. Engineers thought that her team wouldn’t be capable of develop a ball both illuminate enough to kick as well as able to produce sustainable energy. However, Matthews do not gave up. She performed her research. She raised cash. She consistently labored on various prototypes, to be able to create a ball that was more lightweight. She and also her team understood it was subsequently important for people to be capable of kicking and bouncing the ball on their heads. The final finished product was the 17 ounce Soccket, the product only two ounces more heavy than a real soccer ball. A consultant obstetrician and gynecologist, Dr Madziga Isa, on Monday advised Nigerians to suspend the eating of roast meat, locally known as Suya, to guard against contracting Ebola virus. Isa, of NNPC Staff Clinic, also said Nigerians should avoid fish and bush meat, as well as wash their hands regularly as a part of precautionary measures against infection. He made the call in Kaduna during a public awareness lecture with the theme “Ebola: Deadly, Untreatable but Preventable,” organized by the Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC). The consultant urged the populace to reduce their contacts with people, avoid unsafe sex and dispose of the dead with utmost caution. “Do not use your hands to carry dead animals, make sure you wear gloves or use stick to carry them and always use bleach in your household to disinfect.” In another contribution, Dr Saleh Sagir, the Manager, Plant Clinic of KRPC said residents must improve on their personal hygiene and environmental sanitation, and to always disinfect their surroundings. Earlier, Dr Idi Mukhtar, KRPC Executive Director, Services, pledged that the company would continue to raise awareness on the deadly ebola virus until a solution was found. He said the lecture was principally organized to raise people’s awareness on the virus and keep them away from “fetish beliefs” that may lead them into other health complications. https://www.sierraexpressmedia.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Sheik-Umar-Khan1.jpg It is with deep regret that Sierra Express Media announces the news that Sheik Umar Khan (in photo), Sierra Leone’s head doctor fighting the deadly tropical virus Ebola in Sierra Leone died today. Dr. Khan contracted the deadly virus only a matter of days ago in his duties attending to infected patients. The death of Dr. Khan highlights the risks that health workers face in trying to combat the deadly disease. Ebola is believed to have killed 672 people in Guinea, Liberia and Sierra Leone since the outbreak began sometime in February, according to the World Health Organisation. The contagious disease, which has no known cure, has symptoms that include vomiting, diarrhea and internal and external bleeding. Only this week, His Excellency President Ernest Bai Koroma went to Kailahun to talk with the doctor. Source: http://www.sierraexpressmedia.com/?p=69460 More News |

Am so scared to my balls.. Its even late to say to locate the co passengers. Cuz they must have gotten many other persons contaminated by now if they had contacted it from this Liberian man. I will only get relaxed if there wasn't any other ebola death recorded by the end of this week and next week. God just save us. If one with HIV can't get infected with Ebola, many people will be paying to contact AIDS. That moment when AIDS becomes a good news. |

https://www.hopefornigeriaonline.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/Kia-to-Manufacture-550x270.jpg Kia Motors has got declared that it’s going to begin manufacture of selected models throughout Nigeria from September this current year. The Korean auto manufacturers with this move, joins companies like Nissan as well as others who got advantage of the Federal Government’s car policy to build assembly plants in the nation. The automaker’s Africa & Middle East Manager, Mr. Homer Kim disclosed this during media chat at a ceremony to inaugurate Kia ultramodern showroom in Lagos. KIA’s decision to establish a local plant in Nigeria followed Federal Government’s proclamation of a modified National Automotive Policy that seeks to revolutionise Nigeria automotive industry and steadily discourage importation of fully built-up vehicles. KIA Motors Corporation had in February inked a treaty with Dana Motors Limited, local KIA representatives to restructure existing short-term obligation to align with long-term investment in assets development – a scenario that culminated in the provision of technical knowhow and setting up machinery for the local plant. Mr. Kim said the plant would immediately begin to assemble select KIA models including A, B &C – segment Rio, Cerato and Optima because of the huge KIA model line-up and by mid 2015 commence full scale production of the entire KIA range. “We will immediately begin to assemble few models including KIA Rio, Cerato and Optima because of the huge model line-up of KIA and by mid 2015, all things being equal the entire KIA range will be made locally. This in essence implies that, not a single KIA model will be imported into Nigeria from Korea.” Also speaking at the occasion, Dana Motors Limited Managing Director, Mr. Jacky Hathiramani said the dealership is proud to be associated with the Korean automaker and seeks to replicate KIA outstanding qualities in Nigeria. Dana Motors was appointed KIA representatives in 2002 and within a relatively short time, positioned the brand as one of Nigeria’s foremost automobile brands and best selling passenger car. Mr. Hathiramani reiterated the company’s commitment to the success of the investment, adding that “we will continue to introduce convincing marketing communications techniques that will help raise KIA’s profile and brand identity, while also creating positive perceptions for KIA products through high-profile sponsorship deals.” This strategy is aimed to change the perception of customers to view KIA not only as an automobile but a manufacturer of cars of great quality and design, Dana Motors CEO assured. He commended KIA’s resilience and candour from a mere bicycles and motorcycles manufacturer 50 years ago to a world-class manufacturer of cars in rapid succession that resulted in broad range of models available in the global market. “Today, KIA Motors Corporation has become a genuine global force in the automotive world and its brand slogan – ‘The Power to Surprise’ represents the company’s global commitment to surpassing customers’ expectations through continuous automotive innovation,” said Mr. Hathiramani. The chief of Germany's football association (DFB) has revealed that one of the team's triumphant players has damaged their World Cup trophy. Joachim Low's men defeated Argentina 1-0 in the final after extra-time to win the inter-continental tournament for the fourth time in their history, following on from 1954, 1974 and 1990 victories. The Mannschaft were welcomed home from Brazil to jubilant scenes and toured Berlin with the trophy during midweek, however, they may have celebrated a little bit too hard as their World Cup trophy has been damaged by an unknown member of the Germany team. "At one point, a small piece of our World Cup trophy was chipped off," DFB president Wolfgang Niersbach is quoted by Die Welt as saying. "But do not worry! We have specialists on the case who can fix it. "We have investigated persistently who it was that damaged the trophy, but the investigation was concluded without a result." Luckily for Germany, the cup they have been given by Fifa is just a replica of the World Cup trophy they were presented with at the Maracana on July 13, which is estimated to be worth over €10 million. Fifa - it would seem wisely - tends not to trust football associations with the trophy after the original World Cup award, the Jules Rimet trophy, had a history of being a target for thieves before being stolen for good in 1983 from Brazil. https://sunnewsonline.com/new/wp-content/uploads/2014/07/robbers-from-prison-702x336.jpg • ‘How we plan attacks from custody’ These men have one thing in common; they were all inmates at Ikoyi prisons, Lagos. They are Sikiru Adeyemi, Saheed Hakeem, Dosun Patrick, Razaq Olarenwaju, Jamiu Adeyemi and all still standing trial.Unrepentant and back to the same business, they were re-arrested by the operatives of the Special Anti Robbery Squad, at the Lagos police command, while they were about executing a robbery operation which had been planned while in prison.Saturday Sun learnt that their arrest followed an intelligence report that Sikiru, who had earlier been remanded in Ikoyi prison for alleged robbery, has been released on bail. The state police commissioner, Umaru Manko was said to have subsequently asked the officer in-charge of SARS, Abba Kyari to place the suspect under watch. He was later tracked down by detectives while he was planning his latest operation. Sounding sober and ready to bare it all, leader of the group, Sikiru traced his problems to 1987 when he was given an opportunity to work in the military barracks. His words: “I am a graduate of Mass Communication from Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State. After graduation, I was given the opportunity to work in signal office of the military at Mile 2 area of Lagos. It was then that I realised that no matter the offence I commit, if the law enforcer realised that I have a link with the military, they will immediately release me. “After spending a year there, I was admitted at the Vogue Interior designer vocational studies centre from 1988 to 1992. Upon my graduation, I practised interior decoration for years till I got a contract from one drug baron. Pleased with my work, we became friends and he introduced me to the business. This illegal business came to an end when NDLEA arrested him in 2000. I was very lucky to have escaped.” Unrepentant, Sikiru thought that the reason law enforcement officers destroyed their business was that there was no military backing. “It was then I remembered how I was above the law when I was working in the military barracks. With the help of my friend, James Imada who was at Maryland barracks, Lagos, I got a fake identity card and uniform. I don’t know how he did it. I used it to escort trucks around Lagos and outside the state. I also used the identity card to stop and search trucks with James till he was transferred to the North to go and fight Boko Haram. “All went well till in 2011, when I was arrested at Mile 2, when I stopped a truck as usual. A mobile policeman, who noticed the argument, intervened and I was arrested and remanded at Ikoyi prisons when I could not contact my superiors. While in prison, I met a lot of friends who were jailed over similar offences, I assisted some of them to raise money for lawyers while they gave me their contacts in exchange. We had a comprehensive list of possible places to invade and with the various experiences, how best to go about it undetected. I was released on bail months later when the complainant refused to come to court again.” Back home, Sikiru went back to what he knows best, impersonation and snatching of cars. “I needed to survive and the only way was to go back to the same business. Nobody will like to do business with me since I had been to prison before. Business started booming and it got better when I met one Tunde, a dismissed police officer. We exchanged notes and formed a joint task force. All we normally do is to stop a big car and tell the owner that it is a stolen car and that he should come to the barracks for explanation. It was also easier to extort money because anyone that we stop and they discover that I am a soldier while Tunde is mobile police officer, they will panic. He was the one who produced the guns that we used for each operation.” On the crime that led to his arrest, Sikiru said that he actually walked into the police trap. “I never knew that my name was on the police wanted list. Normally when we want to do bigger jobs, I will always make use of the friends that I made while in the prison. They are the only ones that can keep a secret because of their experience. “It was Saheed that contacted me that there was a job. He told me about a man that just returned to Lagos from Abuja with N18million. What we wanted to do was to storm his house and tell him that he is wanted by EFCC, seize everything he has in his house as exhibit and arrest him. On the way, we will drop him off and disappear. “I quickly contacted my boys who will play different roles. It was when I went to finalize the sharing formula with the main source of the deal that I was arrested. I knew my game was up when I stepped down from the police van and realised I was at SARS office. This is why I am telling the truth and ready to cooperate with the police in arresting the others and exposing some of the contracts we got from the prison. Am still in shock that I am heading back to jail again. I even pray that I will be arraigned in court, so that my chances of coming out will be high.” For the others, the story is almost the same. Saheed, a fashion designer, got jailed because he arranged with robbers who attacked one of his richest customers. “While in Prison, Sikiru was very popular because he had money and everyone wanted to identify with him. He gave us his numbers to contact him when we leave the prison. Weeks after I was released, one of my friends who was still in prison but had contact with the outside, told me that there was a deal. I contacted Sikiru who made the arrangements before we were arrested,” Saheed stated. Razaq, a mechanic, spent eight years in Ikoyi prison for conspiring with a gang of robbers to snatch the car of his customer. He was released on compassionate ground by a human rights organization that intervened in 2013. “After 7 years, I returned home to my sick mother who was driven away by her husband because of my attitude. Almighty God in heaven knows that I really wanted to repent but when I realised that life was better in prison than outside, I decided to help myself. All I wanted was to raise money to take my mother to the hospital and start up a business. The human right organisation only helped us to regain our freedom but did not help us to settle down. I called Sikiru who gave me one or two jobs (car snatching). I was satisfied with the proceed and had started a small business when the police came to my house to arrest me again. I am begging for a second chance, at least for the sake of my mother who is bedridden. I lost my wife while in prison, my father disowned me and my mother will die if I remain locked up. I am sorry.” Jamiu spent eight months in Ikoyi prison for robbery and was called upon by Sikiru as soon as he regained his freedom. “It was my elder brother that processed my bail and till date I have not visited the court. While I was in prison, Sikiru, because he looked like an old man, was very popular. He had money and was not selfish about it. Most of us served him while in prison, so when he called that there was a small business, I had to honour him. He assured me that it was car snatching and that we will not use guns. It was when we got there that I realised that it was full-time armed robbery. After that time, I stopped completely till the police arrested us. I am in trouble because my brother warned me that if I get arrested again, he will leave me to rot in jail, ” Jamiu pleaded. Source: http://sunnewsonline.com/new/?p=72785 MORE NEWS |
https://surepmch.org/images/pages/abt_surep.jpg Every year, the Subsidy Reinvestment and Empowerment Programme (SURE-P) will team up with the Industrial Training Fund (ITF) in its Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) element to train 2 million youths. The Chairman of SURE-P, General Martin Luther Agwai (Rtd.) stated this at the commissioning of the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity Skills Acquisition Centre, Bauchi and the Industrial Training Fund Centre of Excellence, Jos. According to a statement in Abuja, the ability of Government to continue to provide adequate and appropriate training for the nation’s teeming youths rely critically on the establishment of some form of sustainability. Mr. Agwai who was represented by the Project Technical Adviser on TVET, Mr. Olukayode Soremekun said that additional skills training effort is planned to impact more than 5000 beneficiaries who have indicated interest on SURE-P portal. He added that SURE-P would soon graduate over 5,000 Nigerians who are currently undergoing client-based training in different entities under the SURE-P TVET. The Chairman also disclosed that in line with the mandate of the Technical and Vocational Education Training (TVET) component of the SURE-P which is to reduce unemployment and poverty in Nigeria through skills acquisition and technical/vocational training infrastructure, eight skills acquisition centres have been rehabilitated across the country. Commissioning the Training Centres, the Minister of Labour and Productivity, Chief Emeka Wogu urged the youths to take advantage of the centres. “This is better than taking to insurgency and other activities which are inimical to the growth of the region. This is a programme of the President that is aimed at repositioning the youths to be responsible tomorrow,” the Minister said. Nwogu said that over 5,000 youths are currently benefiting from the TVET sponsored training programmes in various vocations such as; ICT, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering for the Power Sector, Building and Construction and Automotive trades among others. He assured the Bauchi Community that additional vocational skills in the areas of Plaster of Paris (POP), Tricycle and GSM repairs would be added to the existing trades run by the Ministry of Labour and Productivity skills acquisition centre Bauchi. “By the end of August a total of 1,000 youths who would have completed ICT-Based enterprise training will be empowered with a laptop each, and those who were skilled in auto technician will be empowered with diagnostic machines, multi-meter equipment with cost of training paid for including stipends to each beneficiary. (this forms part of the over 5000 trainees currently benefiting from the TVET training programme,” Wogu said. Responding on behalf of the Bauchi State Community, the Emir of Bauchi who was represented by the Madakin Bauchi, Alhaji Baba Gidado commended the Federal Government for its efforts in ensuring that the skill acquisition centres across the federation were rehabilitated to create opportunities for skill development for the teeming unemployed youths. At the commissioning of the Industrial Training Fund Centre of Excellence, Jos, the Director General of the ITF, represented by Mr. Joseph Ari, affirmed that the rehabilitation and re-tooling of skills acquisition centres across the federation was a demonstration of the desire of the Federal Government to industrialize the nation’s economy through technical vocational education training. She therefore emphasized the need for the ITF’s collaboration with the SURE-P to be sustained especially towards actualizing the 4-Point Agenda of the Fund which includes the Training of 2 million youths annually among others. “Only collaborations such as the one we are witnessing today will enable us make meaningful progress. It is in this regard that we applaud the efforts of SURE-P for identifying with us in our collective quest to provide, promote, and encourage the acquisition of skills among the vast pool of Nigerians. We would like to urge for the sustenance of this relationship with SURE-P, especially in the area of Training our teeming youths,” the Director General stated.
