jamp: Nigeria was better under these men grin grin grin
Depends on which part of the divide you look at it from. From where I stand, I'd say Nigeria is worse off. For example, who would think of voting for 2 Muslims on account of their credibility as opposed to a Muslim and a Christian in any election in Nigeria?
Religion / Re: Some Churches Carry-out Pregnancy Test Before Wedding: Why? by Dollop: 5:36pm On Feb 20, 2013
vanstanzy: Pregnancy is a result of premarital s*x, that is, if the couples are not married yet! The Catholic Church frowns at

premarital s*x. But if intending couples can have premarital s*x and escape pregnancy, GOOD FOR THEM. wink wink wink

I always thought the Catholic Church was against contraception and not necessarily coitus.
Politics / Re: 63 Arrested In Hunt For Abductors Of Okonjo-iweala's Mum by Dollop: 9:58am On Dec 14, 2012
The slogan "Injury to one is injury to all" used in my days in university is very apt in this situation. If this kind of force was unleashed when this nuisance hit our landscape, we wouldn't be talking about this. I hope we as a people have finally woken up. We should as a duty to our future generations ensure that all forms of criminality are nipped in the bud regardless of who is affected. Let's not wait until someone influential is affected before we call in the troops. Rarely do evil things assume gigantic proportions at once; in most cases, they start like a spark and if encouraged overtly or covertly, grow to become a fire that may burn all in sight.

Politics / Re: Barth Nnaji Resigns (Or Sacked) From Power Ministry? by Dollop: 11:10pm On Aug 28, 2012
I just heard. If he resigned because there was a conflict of interest in discharging his job, then thumbs up to him. As an aside, el-Rufai was faced with the same issue when he approved choice plots to his immediate family members. He admitted to 8 plots only in choice area but he didn't resign and wasn't sacked. Now he is in the forefront of the supposed 'crusade'. Shine your eyes people.

Islam for Muslims / Re: Kuwaiti Prince Abdullah al-Sabah Converted To Christianity by Dollop: 5:57pm On Jan 23, 2012
Boy, isn't it nice to see people rise in defence their religion. Now, how many truely practice what they preach (and don't give me the 'No one is perfect' line). Why dont you all do some good in the name of whatever religion you practice and make this world a better place for all of us. Maybe then, it would be a lot easier to get converts. javascript:void(0);
