goodday everyone in this house ..I'm new here have been following you guys from sometime now ..i have a very serious and complicated .I dont want to leave any stone untouch ..first in 2015 I contracted an agent which applied for a visiting visa and he filled I was married , working , earning about 600k.. and I was denial secondly in same 2015 December my uncle brought one 419 agent to apply for a student visa and the guy was bragging that he has some one in the embassy that will wipe all my previous details because I told him what I have been through , I knew he was lying since I wasnt the one paying I allowed him little did I know he was causing more harm than good ..this time he filled i was single ,not working , not married, I was still denial...It was then my uncle knew he brought a scam ..to cut the long story short , since December 2015 I haven't applied ..now I want to apply with my financee .my financee has gone to Dubai 2016 ,in August we want to Ghana together for the sister convocation .and I have been to tanzania..i now have travel history ..we want to apply as couple we are lion member we want to attend lion day with the UN in march 2018 we are thinking of applying jenuary ..Please house what advise do you have for me

I intend to spend ten days in Austin Texas with my male friend who is a Nurse.. Am 33, married with two kids..previous trip to Saudi Arabia for my hajj. My wife decided to spend her own vacation in Dubai two months ago ago with the kids base on the fact that she wears hijab and does not feel comfortably with the American attitude with Hijab Ladies.( no intention to state this thou) so she gave me the permission to spend the ten days with my friend in Texas. Your visa has been approved..., Just pray the interviewer come on NL to read this transcript so he will know what to ask.
Seriously, if anyone have the slightest idea of what questions will be asked at interview, the U.S of A will be filled by now with the amount of visa they will be issuing on daily basis.

Please just prepare well, as there is no standard format of how the VO ask their questions.

Hello everyone, please a friend of mine who is self employed has been doing business for almost 9yrs now and her turnover is good, now she wants to apply for b1/b2 visa with her family and she wants to also use her income to support her husbands who is also self employed ( oil and gas) with good turn over too. But the issue here is that her( my friends) company is not registered and the account she is running her business with is her personal account.
1) Can she use the bank statement of her account for
the interview?
2) or should she go and register her company?
3) if yes to number 2, will presenting a newly registered company cert. affect her chances?
4) would she also need to open an account with the newly registered name?
Please, I don't know if I presented my case well but please help me with some advice.

Your newly registered company doc. won't be checked, likely your bank statement, just explain your business and when asked be able to defend it. my 10 cent

There must be a place to fill on your DS-160 your problem and kindly inform the VO before he start the interview if there's anything they can do about it. My thought.

In my opinion, one of the most important thing when talking to a VO is your confidence. That transcript showed favourg05 was very confident.....and this was because she had an understanding of how the whole process works.

Many of ya'll go to that interview with your heart in your mouth and even more sadly spending more time to pray than actually prepare yourself.

If she was so confident, she wouldn't be forgetting details of UK trip and that the car she came with already gone to the hospital. Or what is the definition of Confidence again?

She was just lucky the VO seem interested in her story, so many things didn't add up. And some VO will deny someone for same reason regardless of how confident when your story are not adding up.

There is no way to edit previously used DS160s. You are responsible for your application, even if you choose to use an agent to help you file it.
You will now have to deal with the consequences of your choice. You can file a new DS160 with truthful information. I would encourage you to bring the situation to the attention of the officer who interviews you without waiting to see if we notice the discrepancies. It may take some time to re-establish your credibility with the United States, but ultimately the path to doing so begins with full disclosure of the truth.

Nobody said you lied, but some interviewer would have denied you visa when you could not provide the passport, He first asked for the passport, you searched your bag, later said was in the car, later car went to hospital. It was grace that otherwise that was enough reason for the VO to stop the interview.

She is very lucky to meet a listening merciful VO that is having a good day. Many people in her situation that fail to provide old passport with visa of their travel history are denied. Any deception always damages overall credibility of visa applicant. Read in between the lines of her interview. From the line, yes I have my old passport in the car and to another story of her driver go with the passport and she even confirm her lie, she said. Me: yes I don't risk foreign food like that(that was a lie sha) except pizza that I bought few times.. my own normal food.
She is very lucky. I must say again she is very lucky to meet such VO, another VO could have deny her the visa. Confidence indeed!!!

That's what leads to all the mistakes and questions on how to edit the form. If you wanna advice some one to take the short cut, fine forget to mention the downside to it.

You don't need to complete your DS-160 to book appointment, just fill the first two page to get your application number and go on cgi to book appointment while you carefully complete your DS-160.

VO: types for close to one minute, confirmed something on PP and brought out a white paper then circle and address and says: your visa is approved please pick your visa at the circled address on Wednesday .

I quickly packed my things and left before she go change her mind ..lol, it was exhilarating to be honest & once again thanks to the brains behind this thread.

You can reschedule appointment once without having to pay a new fee.. Just log in and readjust to your preferred date.but be sure as any other readjustment after the first will have you pay a new mrv

One thing be confident in answering your questions and defend whatever you have entered in your Ds 160. Have it at the back of your mind that all information given now and years to come will be a yard stick to your approval or denial.

IMO.... It's advisable to apply from county you live and work.

Thank you, i have that information thingy to deal with now, i did use an agent two years back who misrepresented, i hope to use this to sought it out and not expect the visa.

A whole lot not the kind of advantage to count on if you are applying from Nigeria, unless other factors weigh in and work for you good. It will be better if you find the ties where you are resident and apply from there....

That is exactly my fear, applying from here will be another issue, will need a working permit which i don't have.
