This is not a tribe issue, every tribe is guilty of this overpopulation we have in this country. I see them around me all the time. Low income earners yet popping out kids every other year with the belief that at least one will be successful enough to take them out of poverty. In most cases they grow up and become nuisances in the society.

If he goes through the thread and agrees with those that said I hastily banned him. Even if he is unbanned, his details will remain with the scammer tag till either (1)He shows us substantial proof that he is innocent or (2)He settles with his accuser. I hope his friends breathing down my neck will pass my message accross to him.

Those that need it most are the ones not practising it. They keep breeding like pigs and bringing in kids they can't cater for in an over-populated country.

The chrome browser nairaland page on my device is filled with smileys... it is hard to see the links, so they can correct it.

How long has it been like this? Have you tried clearing browser cache and cookies? I'm currently using chrome browser and I'm not having such issues.

Pray you never get duped of the money you've been counting on, then you will that there's no length you will not go to get back at the scammer. I remember the agric section scam case very well. Had the accused LegupsNigeria approached the matter same way this Drisklef did, trust me he would have been blocked as well. He gave us detailed explanations with pictures, at no point did he block his client like this one did. At the end everybody reached a common ground. That is when you know a transparent person is involved in a case. This person is totally different. Not only did he want to play a fast one on his client, he is also very saucy and arrogant. Now he is sending people to bark orders at me. He should continue, maybe it is my name and details that will remain in the scam list. When he's ready to set the record straight, he will do the create a new account and deactivate right after.


This will be my last response on this issue.

Let's get some points clear
You have coins sent to you right and the funds are still in your possession right? It is understandable that you want to do your due diligence before sending the cash to Deby. However there are other ways you can confirm if the coins came from Peterty01 without chatting with him with the number he contacted you with. You can ask him to send his wallet address and transaction history to you. That should clear part of the doubt that he sent coins to you right?

Cc Dominiqu, like somebody has said, unban the accused and give him the benefit of doubt. This story never make sense to me.

He unblocked him on Sunday after the bans the OP was hoping that they will reach an agreement only to see that update. Any more holes in his story you want to pick? And who are you to tell me how to do my job? Oh I remember, the accused scammer's friend. For all we know, you're an accomplice or another one of his alternates. If the story doesn't make sense to you, kindly exit the thread.

Hmmm, so the OP shouldn't have raised that kind of alarm because of the small amount involved. My job here is to block scam and scammers no matter the amount involved. If only you knew the rate of scams being carried here especially in this business section, you will know why swift action is carried out once there is no tangible denial to an accusation is provided.

The first ban was to rattle him a bit, I knew he had alternates which he can still use to post. But what did he do? he came in hurling insults and curses. The last account he would have used to clear himself, he went on to deactivate. If he had any explanation to exonorate himself, he would have done so alongside the insults and before deactivating. I work with evidence not sentiments. The OP came with evidence that they had a transaction and chat history, I saw the screenshot of the messenger platform where he got blocked. That is what I acted with not his emotional outburst.

I can see he is now sending his friends to fault my actions. All that yapping will not take his name off Google database, neither will it make me unblock his other accounts. If he wants his name cleared, he should register a new account to do so. For someone that had four different monikers, creating a new one shouldn't be so hard.

This said scammer scammed unsuspecting members of hundreds of thousands of naira using this same okrika bale method before he got exposed, he has not been heard from since last year. I don't want to jump to conclusions about this op, I hope he clears my doubt.

Anybody that has contacted this OP should pls pm me. I'm suspecting him, his method is similar to that of a notorious scammer (N.A) that has been laying low for a while. Extreme Caution should be exercised when dealing with him or any other unknown member of this forum.

I have known this drisklef moniker for sometime in the rap battles section. Whether or not he scammed this guy, I can't say. However, the mod exacerbated the situation by continually banning the guy. So, how has banning him helped matters? Have you tried to put yourself in his shoes? Have you considered that this may just be a misunderstanding?
Imagine something went wrong, and you lose contact mistakenly with your client. Only for you to come online and see that your whole personal data are being publicized as that of a scam artist. How would you feel? Wouldn't you be mad at first?

You just started banning the guy anyhow because he reacted.

People get accused of fraud all the time, the real innocent ones rush in to clear their names not look on like a silent observer. If he had any tangible explanation to offer, he would have done so on Saturday morning when the first accusation came out not Sunday afternoon after he got banned.

He had almost 24 hours to defend himself before he got banned but he kept viewing the thread without commenting. I saw his alternates before banning the first account and I expected him to use one of those to clear his name but what did he do? He jumped into the thread and started heaping insults on his accuser. Is that what you will do if accused of fraud? The guy is nothing but a miserable scammer. If his main hadn't been banned, he would never have responded in the first place.

That's a very insensitive statement to make.

He also got arrested. Had this happened in India, the brother will be walking freely while the girl will get a more severe punishment than six months jail term

Very Pathetic! A whole 32 year old couldn't fend for himself after his mother's death decides to take the coward's way out leaving a young family behind. The person that walked in on him when he was attempting suicide didn't try sha. He should have shouted for help right there instead of leaving him to call for help.
