The Senate of the Federal University of Technology Owerri FUTO,at it's 437th meeting held on Tuesday, July 3,2018 Reinstated the Students Activists expelled as a result of the Students Demonstration of Friday 17,2017,in line with the Outside Court Settlement sought by the Defendants before Justice Lewis Allagoa Owerri Federal High Court ,on 19th October, 2017.

Recall that Counsel to the Defendants(FUTO and it's Top Management Staff),Bar.U.O.

Onyimadu Esq.had on 19th October, 2017,sought for an Outside Court Settlement on the matter bordering on Illegal Expulsion and Abrupt Termination of Academic exercise between the Plaintiffs (Ogbonna Collins and others) and the Defendants.


After reading the Application before the Honourable Court,Counsel to the Plaintiffs Bar.Wisdom Durueke Esq.concorded to the Application and called for timely roundtable discussions, to enable his clients assess the campus and complete their different Five year programs as guaranteed by the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board(JAMB) and FUTO. Nine Students Activists namely Comrs.Ogbonna Collins(FAT),Ugwu Collins Okey (OPT),Mmadu Nnamdi(OPT),Elvis Onuoha(AST),Kenneth Megwa(POT),Odunze Ebuka (CSC),Chizoba Ukaegbu(MTHS),Chike Fred Abraham (AST),Victor Ihuka(URP),were on March 3rd,2017,handed with EXPULSION Letters, through our various Heads of Departments, after a PEACE AND RECONCILIATORY COMMITTEE sat and recommended for immediate Expulsion of the above students over there roles in the Protest. Some of the reasons for the protest ranged from Hike in Fees,Poor Welfare Conditions of Students, Extortions and Harassment by both the Teaching Staff and Security Apparatus of the great citadel of Learning.

After reboting my infinix from safemode. Am having so much issues.
1. The home button won't work
2. The button that shows all active screen won't work
3. I can't keep the full screen in place.

Safe mode is done to find out if a problem affecting your phone is from am app in the sd card or internal storage is the cause.
If after booting into safe mode and u still encounter problem, then the fault is from an app in ur internal storage.
The best thing to do is to format the fone

If you are still using an older version of whatsapp, I guess you should update it to the latest version 2.18.156 and later so that you can enjoy the newly introduced feature.

This feature will be loved by all Groyp chat admins because it has do with setting permissions for who will be able to change the group icon and subject.



Here, the group admin will be able to set if it's only the group admins or every member of the group that will be able to change the group icon and subject.



How to set this permission

Group admins should make sure their whatsapp is updated to the latest version as seen in the image above.

After updating the whatsapp, admins should tap the "Group Info" and click on "Group settings"



At the next dialog box, click on "Edit Group info" *only group admin can have this access*



Select "Only admins" if you want only the admins to be able to change the icon and subject

Or select "All participants" if you want all members of the group to be able to change the icon and subject.
