surecan: dommakavelli,if that is part of the Canada visa requirement,i go suggest make you include it
its not part of the requirments on cic website. However, the requirements listed on cic are only the major prequsites that make a complete application...your application won't be checked if those four things are not their. meanwhile, you're not guaranteed a TRV even tho you met those prequsites.

Proof of acceptance
Proof of identity
Proof of financial support
Letter of explanation
In addition to these documents, you may have to provide other information when you apply for a study permit.

abi no b like this dey write am for the website?

So in my opinion, i fink there are some keys wey those agents dey use...like legal jagoons, the ministry stuff. etc (not sure, just thinking n sharing my tots )

remember that an Affidavit of support is not part of the CIC requirements.

Siga: ...I dont think its as crazy as they have it in UK.....the Canadian gov respect each and everyone's culture....they just dont grab kids like they might do in UK....na extreme and funny cases....but they might check and ask questions.....let me paint the hierarchy for una...

1. Kids
2. Women
3.Pets (dogs, cats, hamsters even monkeys) etc
4. Men.

So, make all the men in the house dey careful once dem land Canada oooo....my very good friend came to Naija, marry this UNILAG girl...I filed all the paperwork...she got her PR....came to Canada and ran away with another man....small time, call police one day say my guy threaten am....na him police first detain ooo before dem hear stories....but he wasnt charge but was advised to look for a place....lol...long story sha...

Don Cipher: Did u @ any point in time glance at the date of the document you're referencing. Please ask questions if u're not clear about a subject matter & stop posting wrong information here - it's not even CIC Website so what's this all about?
Yeah, it's not cic website but it may be relevant bro.
anywayz, Am interested in the bank draft n proof of Tuition n boarding payment. wanna know if it would help deal with the financial stuff.
if someone have used it before, cos I read about sumone here that submitted many relevant docx n paid tuition but still got denied..av forgotten the reasons tho...
However,gurus here said he was denied probably because he's over qualified for study permit n someone suggested he should go for skilled worker trv...cos the reasons the V O gave are not genuine despite that the guy submitted all docx to block loop holes.

Take a look @ 2a n 2b

Student Authorization for studies in Canada.

1. Pick up student authorization forms : You may obtain study permit forms in your country of origin at the Canadian Embassy, High Commission or Canadian Education Centre. Applications and documentation must then be submitted to the nearest visa office.

2. Gather the necessary documents: It is crucial that students submit ALL documentation requested with their applications. Missing documentation will delay the authorization process. A list of ducuments include:

a)Proof of identity: This includes photocopies of a valid passport or travel document or identity document that guarantees re-entry to the country that issued it; and two recent passport-size photos (2" x 2.5"wink for each family member, with the full name and date of birth recorded on the back of each photo;

b) Proof of financial support that shows you will have enough money during your stay in Canada to cover tuition fees, return transportation and $10,000 CDN per annum for living expenses. Documentation for this requirement could be proof of a Canadian bank account or a bank draft in convertible currency, bank statements for the past four to six months, or proof of payment of tuition and residence fees;

c) A medical examination in your country of origin. Medical exams are required if your stay is longer than six months and you come from a country with high health risks or will be studying or working in a place where protection of public health is essential.;

d) Proof of acceptance by an approved educational institution. The following information must be included in letters of acceptance: name, date of birth, mailing address of student; the course for which the student has been accepted; the estimated duration or date of completion of the course; the date on which the course begins; the last date on which the student must register for the course; the academic year which the student will be entering; whether the course is full or part-time; the tuition fee; any conditions related to acceptance; clear identification of the educational institution; and licensing information for private institutions. This letter must be signed by an authorized representative of the institution.

3. Visit the Visa Office: Once you have completed the application forms and have gathered the necessary documentation, proceed to the visa office nearest to you and submit the forms and required information along with a study permit fee.As your study permit will normally be valid for the duration of your course, please ensure that your travel document (passport) is also valid for that same period of time.
