Hehehehehe grin grin grin

I thought as much….the paranoid, obsessed and insecure Igbo-hating bigot antizikist, using yet another alternate moniker in his wasted effort of trying to cause division between Ndigbo and her neighbours in the east! This slimeball isn’t even from the south-east or south-south and this begs the question as to why he’s so insanely obsessed about the two regions! The answer can be found in my last post he just quoted! He’s a pathetic and shameless unity beggar because he’s convinced his parasitic ethnic group can’t survive without ‘one Nigeria’ and the disproportionate political and economic advantages they have cornered for themselves! He’s just as shameless as he’s evil!

I’m no clairvoyant, but i knew his ‘proof’….his ‘smoking gun’ would be the delusional tall tales of yet another willing slave from the Niger-delta procured by ‘ndi liberators dem’…the hegemonic alliance, to help them sell the false narrative of ‘Igbo murder, rape and pillaging’ of ethnic minorities in the then Biafra Republic! Quite predictable! This Graham-Douglas fella didn’t do anything the likes of Ken Saro-Wiwa and Adaka Boro didn’t do before him….both elected to dine with the enemy not knowing they were on the menu as well!

Dude, have you no source from news reports and independent observers AT THE TIME to help prove this your laughable assertion!? Conversely, on the atrocities the evil hegemonic federal side carried out against easterners/Igbos’ BEFORE and during the uncivil war, and as narrated by independent international observers and press, are available and all over the net! I can provide some later if you ask nicely!

It doesn’t strike you as odd that, according to how you tell it, Biafra/Igbos’ committed all these vile atrocities against neighbours they had lived relatively peacefully with for centuries, yet one of the minorities who was second-in-command never said anything about it or resigned but stayed to the bitter end and signed the agreement on behalf of Biafra that ‘ended’ the war!? As Judge Judy likes to say: ‘if it doesn’t make sense, it’s usually not true!’ wink
In all your rubbish, can you tell me why you were chased out from the entire SS with the abandoned property saga?

Will you deny the so-called pogrom in Midwest on ibos by non Ibo people following its liberation by federal forces ?

Are you aware that an appeal was made to the non Ibo people of the Midwest to stop attacking igboid people ?

Your lies will not hold anymore.

What you accuse the north of you did worse to the minority people under Biafra

IGBOPROMISE1:
Dude, stop lying through your rotting teeth! Why would ‘Biafran soldiers and civilians arrest, torture, rape and kill south-south minorities’ during the uncivil war!? Where did you hear this vile lie!?….Was it at your weekly anti-Igbo/anti-secession meet-up in your local beer parlour!?

You’re either Yoruba or Fulani (correct me if i’m wrong), and it’s obvious you’re on here lying to try and cause divisions between Ndigbo and her neighbours in the south-east/Niger-delta….why is that!? It’s also obvious you’re on here trying to cast the Nigerian side (led by the Yoruba and north) as the ‘good guys’ and the Biafran side as the ‘bad guys’!….Can’t say i’m surprised! There has been a sustained and ongoing campaign of lying and revisionism of events leading up to and during the uncivil war by your ilk right from the late 60s to date! Your grandparents and parents kick-started it, and you took over from where they left off! Your efforts are all aimed at sustaining your ATM that is ‘one Nigeria’ and continuing to benefit from the pro-Yoruba/Fulani political-economy you installed during the war and which has lasted to this day! You pretend to love the south-south/Niger-delta, but in actual fact you see and treat them as ‘daft pawns’ who you feel you can lie to that you ‘liberated them from the oppression, cheating and murders of the Igbo’! You think they’re daft and would believe any story you tell them, no matter how incredulous! No one needs to tell them of their present political, economic, social and environmental condition in Nigeria today….especially against the backdrop of what other equally hydrocarbon-rich territories like UAE, Qatar and Kuwait have achieved! No one needs to tell them how the hegemonic alliance has used their oyel and gas to invest in Lagos, Abuja and Kaduna while they are left to deal with the consequences of said hydrocarbon exploitation! No one needs to tell them to look at the Forbes richest list and see the top five dominated by Yoruba and Hausa/Fulani names! You see them as being daft, that’s why you think they can’t think for themselves and see how you have used and cheated them from the late 60s to date and want to heap the blame for their economic, social and environmental misfortune on their Igbo neighbours! You’re in a race you will eventually lose!
Bloody lying 0koro rat.

Prior to that, every SE state got far more from FG based on population .

You’re only making Agulu excuse because SE is at the bottom of the ecosystem..

Mind you, it has always been like that, right from the era of Nnamdi Azikwe, SE has always been a barren land with almost zero to offer Nigeria. This is one of the reasons Nnamdi Azikwe never has the urge to become the premier leader of the eastern region, instead, he came to prostrate to western leaders that he would love to be a premier leader of the west..

Ask yourself, why would Azikwe abandon SE and then travel many miles to the west to beg the western leaders to let him become their premier leader? If eastern region is productive, won’t Azikwe love to be it premier leader?

The western leaders asked him why wanting to become premier leader of the west... Azikwe said it cuz he’s vibrant and knowledgeable... The western leaders simply told him to use his knowledge to go rule & develop his region..

When Azikwe left back to eastern region, his people asked him what was the response they gave him, instead of him to tell the truth, he simply told them they didn’t want him to rule the west because he’s an Igbo man... That was the beginning of how Igbos developed this victim mentality..

You claimed you got the knowledge. They told you to go use your knowledge to develop your region... What’s bad about that?
This trait in them is what exactly that they can only proffer unsolicited advise and critisicm outside their yeast and absolve their failure governors by blaming FG for neglect .

Developers that claim their region is the richest but refuse to remain in their Dubai of Africa region but will rather want to go and develop other regions.

I was in ondo state for 6 years : 2000- 20006

Then lots of sawmills

Just 2 factories in the capital Akure , which is the biggest town in the state

They all hide under Lagos IGR to claim nonsense.

Luckily for them , ondo has oil. What does Osun and Ekiti have ?

The airport they’ve been building at Osun State since aregbesola’s time is still uncompleted.

Anambra completed its airport without any help from FG

Even Ebonyi, the poorest south east state has a functioning airport .
Ondo state is far richer than all your yeast combined

It has the longest sandy beach coastline in Nigeria and with the coastal road in construction it will become a prime real estate and tourism sector.

Ondo also has large swaths of tropical rain forests that have natural timber.

Ondo has the largest bitumen tar pits in the world and has large gas and oil reserves yet to be tapped. The state is also blessed with several mineral deposits and precious stones.

I will take Akure any day over any state capital in your yeast

Please name the northern state with better infrastructure please I dare you... Is it by building needless flyover ?

South East Cities expand freaking rapidly so infrastructure are slow to get to the new area and our people blow it out of proportion to get government attention

Bro don't go there
Guy, ordinary Gombe state has better public infrastructure than all the substandard rubbish your governors comission that are meant solely as embezzlement and money laundry conduits . Look at the mad conpetitiion among your governors in building substandard flyovers for example. Even every road project embarked on by your now messiah one watch wearing Obi never survived his adminstration .

SE people need to hold their own governors to account and stop thinking Federal Govt nah their papa.

What will you then say of a state like Akwa Ibom that outside of a federal Prison and military barrack there's zero federal presence.

No federal universities institutions, medical centres NADA!

But Akwa Ibom is doing far better than all your SE states combined and they are not crying of federal neglect like you guys do everyday despite the fact that the federal govt has invested heavily in your region over the years more than the entire SS zone.

How do you measure better leaders? By performance right?

Tell me in which developmental index which is as a result of governance is North better than South East I dare you
I have been to several states in the north and they have better state funded infrastructure than in your SE.

Although there's not much priority in education in the north because it's almost a lost cause to get most of these northerners to attend formal western education , but those who embrace it get high support from their governors. In your SE , your governors also do not priotize state funding for education. Education has never been free in your SE and the governors there have left the responsibility solely in the hands of private schools. So in retrospect, you governors have near zero social responsibility to those who elected them. This is why the only projects you will see your governors embarking on are road construction because that's the only thing their people deserve and because of the potential for huge kickbacks from constructing roads.

Random Thoughts on the Southeast: A Region of Untapped Potential - omobabaijebu

I’ve never seen a region with so much to offer yet so underutilized as the southeastern part of Nigeria. No disrespect to my brothers, leaders, and friends from the Southeast, but the truth must be told: the internally generated revenue (IGR) of the Southeast doesn’t come close to reflecting its true potential.

Having visited nearly every senatorial district in the region, I often find myself wanting to knock on the doors of state governors, or better yet, gently tap them on the head (no offense, of course) and ask them to wake up!

Take Ebonyi State, for example. It has the potential to be the agricultural powerhouse of the Southeast. Imagine encouraging local farmers, getting more people into agriculture, and setting up facilities like rice mills, palm oil mills, and cassava processing plants in places like Okigwe, Arochukwu, or Osisioma. In just five years, the Southeast could become self-sufficient in rice production and even export to other regions.

A modular refinery in Obehie could revolutionize production. With strategic planning, the five southeastern states could allocate a fraction of their IGR to purchase crude oil from the federal government. The benefits? Employment opportunities, increased revenue, and greater economic independence for the region.

And what about Aba, Owerri, and Enugu? These cities are ripe for a thriving fashion industry. With the talent and creativity already present in Aba’s famous markets, why not establish a Southeastern clothing and footwear brand? Imagine exporting “Made in Southeast Nigeria” shoes and clothes across the country and beyond. It’s not just a dream

Enugu, on the other hand, is a hidden gem for tourism. The iconic Nike Lake could be revamped into a world-class tourist attraction. With its stunning landscapes, the city could also promote activities like hiking, skating, and other recreational adventures. Trust me, tourists will come flocking!

Yes, there are challenges, including the unfortunate issues with “Unknown Gunmen” (UGM). But let’s be honest, when a government takes development seriously, even the most stubborn challenges can be addressed. A functional Southeast Development Commission could spearhead these efforts, transforming the region into Nigeria’s version of China, a hub of manufacturing, innovation, and economic growth.

The potential is there, waiting to be unleashed. It’s time to maximize the economic strengths of the Southeast and let it shine as the beacon it’s meant to be.

- Omobabaijebu
Oga there's zero potential in the SE.

Take Ebonyi state for example. This is a state like all SE states that has a very high human population density. Early child marriages and polygamy plus mass illiteracy is the reason why Ebonyi is largely agrarian in nature. That high population density that is exacerbated by an exploding population brought about by child marriage and polygamy has seen the contest for the fixed available land gone very violent. Introduction of more profitable rice farming has seen to communities rising up against each other in violent disputes over land. As I type this, there are communities in Ebonyi that have been vacated owing to constant intra communal clashes. Ebonyi is also one of the states outside Lagos that has no existing forests anymore. All of it has been cleared for farming activities because the vast majority of Ebonyi people are not educated or skilled and rely mostly on agriculture. The introduction of rice cultivation has put more demand for the scarce land. Add the exploding population brought about by polygamy , early child marriage and a high fertility rate amongst their women and girl folks and you have a disaster in the making that will haunt Ebonyi and the SE in future. The mass iliteracy among Ebonyi youth is why they are the ones making the bulk of IPOB terrorists.

As per Imo, outside Owerri township, every other place is hostile to outsiders. You will stick out like a sore thumb in places like Mbaise if you ever go visit there outside attending a marriage or burial ceremony. This applies to Abia state and Anambra as well. As for Anambra, the level of criminality there is not something an outsider can understand. You are going to get a rude cultural shock trying to go about your daily life in places like Awka and Onistha that are the main cosmopolitan areas of the state. Straying outside of these areas, you will get the cold treatment that is reserved for non indigenes of the community plus a hefty dose of Ibo discrimination if you are not from the SE.

Enugu is sort of tame when considering it in comparison to other SE states. Places like Enugu city and Nnsuka ain't that bad but outside Tourism and Education , you have zero business there.

But one of the most compelling reasons why the SE zone is generally a No-Go-Area for non Ibos is because they discriminate heavily against non Ibos. If you start a novelty business in the SE , you are rest assured that their thriving entrepreneurs will copy it and when they do, their people will rather patronise their own than yours.

It's for this reason that SE hardly sees any investment from others in Nigeria into the zone.

mrvitalis:
Why should we Tax our people more when what we gain from FAAC is enough to run basic government...

I am believer in heavy tax 100% but 90% of igbos don't believe in tax and government don't push it

The idea is simply since FAAC is ok allow businesses tax break to grow simple

The main question is those states with substantially higher IGR are they more developed than South East? Are they doing better in developmental index?

It's like telling a man who runs a company that the salary he pays himself is too small that he should pay himself more to appear rich
There's an unwritten agreement between your governors and your people that whatever allocation derived from the federal purse which is gotten mostly from outside the SE is exclusively for the governor to spend and recoup his investment in running for office .

This is why there is hardly any tax regime in Ibo land and at the same time the Ibo populace not holding their governors to account since the money misappropriated by your thieving governors never came out from your pockets or from resources in your states.

The north on the other hand is a different ball game since the Proletariat up there hold their own governors to account over federal allocations but at the same time are not ready to be taxed. This is why the north elects far better leaders than your SE.
