Some would be fathers-in-law aren't even helping matters. Their daughter likes a man who isn't well to do, instead the lady's father to assist him in gettn a well paid job, just because d dad comes from a very wealthy family, he only wishes for some ready made billionaire to marry his daughter..

Some mothers also aren't helping matters.


U want a society wedding for u daughter, u are driving away her suitors just because you want ur friends to know dat ur daughter is going to wedd onye Nku (big man).. .. what is a just a wedding ceremony compared to a life time marriage? A lot of institutions are sacrificing monies to organise mass wedding for couples, why not take advantage of that opportunity? Dan wasting a whole lot of money to please people who will still grumble after the wedding ceremony because they didn't get souvenir (but they ate sha sha ooo)


Human beings are insatiable, no matter how "swagged up" or "economical" the wedding ceremony is, people will always complain..
