Oga, forget the scam from the proprietors, I worked in 5 different private schools for 8 years before I changed my work. There is money in school business EXCEPT you are stinkingly poor before you started yours.
you worked. OWN a school and see how things are first, then reality will hit you in the face.. BTW I DON'T own a school, I just have a first hand experience of how things are

I have said it before, 80% of business owners in Nigeria don't know jack about running a biz.

Just figure heads.

For schools, I don't know why it's so difficult running such a biz. I was close to my proprietor during my NYSC so I know running a school isn't as difficult as many school owners make it seem.

First thing for Pete's sake is to incorporate the biz. Please, separate running d school from d ownership.

Secondly, get a good Finance Officer (not just an Accountant). Add an Admin Officer, followed by a Principal or Head Master. Spell out duties and functions clearly.

Recruit teachers, and other staff.

If your biz doesn't progress per time then call me a fool.

But ignorance, greed, selfishness will never allow such owners do the right thing.

Running biz in Nigeria is tough, but like our government officials, most biz owners know jack.
Good for you. I hope to see your school that you will soon open among top 3 in Nigeria in 2 years time sir..

OP, I’m “%96” sure you know nothing about what you are dabbling into.
Are you not in this country when some private schools asked parents to pay for 3rd term school fees when the government came for their heads and are here saying they have paid for 3rd term?
What most people don’t understand is that parents hardly pay for school fees until it’s time for exams.
It is only very few private schools (the elite ones) that collect fees for the entire session.
See, I am a private school teacher and I have not been paid since April either but the way the society is demonizing school owners is not fair!
What is their crime? They are no longer making money to pay teachers for goodness sake! When schools resume now, the school building needs to be put back in shape. Where do y’all think the money is coming from?
Y’all should show empathy and channel your aggressions to the government. Their inadequacies is not the school owners’ fault!
God bless you for this

This OP is just bitter. You did not blame govt that shutdown school but our overcrowded Market is running smoothly.

You did a not blame yourself for not having alternate plans, you don't blame CoronaVirus...

No, you blame someone is very much affected by the whole situation. Someone, unlike you that choose to create employment in a country where entrepreneurship is like death sentence.

If the OP owned a school, he would have done worst, but as usual, he is blaming every one except himself for his mis-fortune.

Because, all parent pay in advance, OP Should simply start his own school and start receiving his own payment in advance.

Most people do not factor in rents and renovation and other factors if production that Entrepreneurs struggle with... All they see is the income.... Not the cost.
honestly bro, it's just tiring.. the way the OP typed nonsense with confidence is funny

I expect those family members not to return. The only reason I am happy about the coming of Coronavirus is that, at least these greedy school owners can be deprived of school fees they so much love than their actual teachers.
if you run a school, you'll see that it's entirely different from what you think it is now
Education / Re: How Private School Owners Are Dubiously Cheating Their Teachers by donblazer10(m): 4:02pm On Jul 18, 2020

Sir/ma, I can say the inability to collect up to 90% fees by the school/proprietors in your locality shows the incompetent level of the school managers. Besides, you have said something about "family" in your opinion. With that alone, money may not enter as expected, but i tell you, these people lie alot, school business is a big cash in stuff.
Another thing is that the money used for salaries by these proprietors is very small compare to what they collect from their customers.
school business is a big cash in stuff? lol. I swear you have no idea what you're saying, trust me
Education / Re: How Private School Owners Are Dubiously Cheating Their Teachers by donblazer10(m): 3:59pm On Jul 18, 2020

Every honest proprietor is supposed to have paid it staff their February, March and April salary in full plus even necessary bonus because they collect their fees per term and this money is paid in whole and they normally demand this money (fee drive) from second week of resumption and their dead line for payments is always that first month of resumption and the lockdown started towords ending of March , almost all school's does this.

In other words %96 percent of schools in Nigeria have already collected their pupils school fees before the covid-19 lock down.

To show How wicked black man can be most of the proprietors/proprietress have dubiously refused to give their staff their complete payment for April, May. Most school owners are not always honest to their workers because no regulatory bodies beams their watch light on them.

So if you are a teacher you teach in a private school and you did not receive your April and may salary from your director , just know you have been cheated.
you honestly have no idea of how things work in private schools, you're so naive and it's funny, until you start a private school yourself that's when you'll know that all you've said is totally out of ignorance..

Yes, you may be formally educated, and know endangered species, and may not be that dependent on hunting/fishing to make a living, but what part have you done within your neighborhood or clan to notify people of endangered species?

So this has been in circulation. It is not wrong for a Church to own a bank account. I have paid some dues through the bank.

Why are you guys so angry with Bishop Oyedepo?

He is not forcing people to give. And the few living faith members I have come across are givers. Giving to God and welfare comes very easy for them.

Stop being pained. If you don't have money, work hard and ask for favor.

These are adults. They worked for their money. Sit your ass down and work for yours. When you have it, do whatever you want with it.

The same people criticizing this go on weekend trips. Do drugs. Bla bla bla.

Giving is optional.

But according to Apostle Paul, "An instructor is worthy to eat from those he instructs."

We will be having online services. So it is very normal to offer online. So stop crying.... Mbok.
As small minded as you are, you cannot see that this will ensure the safety of the members because CoVid-19 can be passed through paper money.

You will be a joker to pay for food or services through your phone and expect the Christians not to.

No need to bash me, the highest you will say is SHEEPLE. And that's not bad. I no kill person.

Now that your village people need hand sanitizers and masks and a little help, you will not talk. Na to bash this Daddy.

God always replenishes givers. Trust me.

this lady right here is obviously brainwashed. There's no point trying to make you see how illogical this comment is. Anyway, na kuku your money, wetin be my own?

You said it all without bias. Truth is ios is better than android but people convince themselves android is better because ios is too expensive. Having said that, ios are just too overpriced. Reduce the price and watch how android goes into oblivion.

TVs, dstv, gotv, ACs and other appliances with an IR sensor.
Oga, that thing is useless.. I have it in my phone I've been using for 2 years and I don't think I've used it up to 5 times.. Who still has time to even watch TV sef??
