Anither563: It's like this is happening again in his presidential campaign. He will not pay the people who work for him and will rather ask them to wait till he wins the election and pay them from his presidential salary.
joeyfire: I have very little to say about Peter Obi and his administration except that job creationin sustainable sectors is 0%, strategic vision and planning is 0%, investments in human capacity building (how much did he invest in education?) 0%, security nko 0%. Anambra state deserves better than this. Na condition make south east adopt omata levels to survive. While the likes of chime and rochas (as far as I can see) show glimpses of far reaching impact, I honestly can't see anything to praise peter obi about.
To crown it all the man, the youngest bank chairman for petes sake responds to a write-up with limp ethnic blackmail.
In 2012 , the Anambra sports contigents to Lagos, protested over non payment of their allowances, poor treatment and neglect. This was the 7th year of Peter Obi's governance in Anambra state.
mycar: Atleast he will not spend extravagantly like tinubu to worsen the economy and exchange rate, I know if he was there and the fuel was N500 per litre, apc minions and tribalists would have sponsored a protest to burn down the country. it is good everything is happening now because he laughs best, who laughs last.
Kanixt: He will do it when appropriate measures are put in place, unlike this Tinubu he can't even sit down to study "subsidy removal", he when a head and removed it.
No one is against subsidy removal, for the matter of fact people yearn for it. Even me today being the president I will removal subsidy but not like Tinubu without brain.
All of us want to dig a well, but it all depends on the kind of tools you will use to dig your well
I'm not sure you watched the video Peter Obi said he will remove subsidy first day in office
IFSHR: Did you listen to the question, the previous administration removed subsidy already from the budget, and what Peter obi said was .. no plans to reintegrate it back immediately.. and mind you .. in real practical, it doesn't mean that no money is left in the coffer, because they don’t remit the payment monthly.. meaning they still have 6 month kick back funds.. that 6 month is the half obi was referring to.. meaning your claims won’t be honoured if your invoice show u have over inflated the figure.. how can u ask for payment of what u didn’t supply, who is using the fuel: those are the questions.
Or have u asked where tinubu is paying subsidy from even with the fact that it’s wasn’t in the current budget they operating on?
Where in the video, minute and second did he mention partial removal? He said it will go immediately
Pearl1910: If u agree that Nigerian PMS is adulterated, why do u now think Nigerian CNG will not suffer same fate due to poor processing. Sometimes I see liquid substances coming out of the cylinders of cooking gas sellers. Our cooking gas too are mixed. So why will CNG not also be abused?
Last last na only you go remain wey no switch to CNG
IFSHR: I did and comprehended his statement perfectly well and aligns with my initial write up.. remove the first half and deal with issues surrounding the sustainability of the price.. Abi u need Apc to organise evening class for you
So what does PO mean by subsidy will go immediately and it will not last one day
Conner44: See you, don't worry. I know say e dey mind but very soon you will open mouth here and confess the goodness of Tinubu in your life
I remember that time you were asking if 13million is enough to take you Poland last year, today will 30 MILLION take you? this is just one year . . . I wonder if it is the 'yabbing Tinubu on tiktok' and etc that you are using to make the 30m 🤔
Anyhow sha, i wish you well and remember Tinubu is still going to be president till 2031 so try to hurry up because by next year it will rise to 60m
Show me proof of where I asked if 13 million or even any amount is enough to travel to Poland
Pearl1910: Ha... Una dey fall my hand o. Una still dey engage that urchin. Person wey agree yesterday say Tinubu don mess up just because him wan enter 20k list. Ones him collect the 20k and him remember laptop wey him wan collect for ikorodu training, he will reset and return to "Tinubu is d best thing after slice bread"
Abeg you still never add me to the list. Tinubu is the worst president Nigeria ever had 😭😭
IFSHR: You sabi shift goal post.. your opinion about Peter obi removing fuel subsidy is quiet different from your failing principal (Thank God you have admitted it ). PO said he will remove it but then systematically after boosting local forte, so that the foreign exchange impact on it will be minimal and still yet not full removal.
But the I built Lagos emperor without enough economical know how and understanding the simple principle of opportunity cost remove subsidy still follow it up by deregulating the FX market for a highly dependant nation like Nigeria.
The only hope of this current ineptitude government is waiting for dangote refinery to see what magic that can do to the pricing, but let’s check the antecedent of dangote, it won’t change anything.. Dangote is set out to maximise profit he is not a charity.
Stop comparing your lord to Peter obi nor Atiku, none of this people is at the helm of affairs.
pope191: Forex determines the price of crude oil. There’s no how exchange rate will be 1628 naira to a dollar and we will be buying fuel at 885. Free market means you sell at your own price without any form of regulation. Fuel should be at least 1350 naira. That will be around 1500/1600 in other state. I guess everywhere go scatter, so make them they commot shock for una body small small till uncle Dango tell us wetin he go sell give NNPCL nah when we go truly know where we deh.
40k fuel below… it is well
Exactly why I don't like the way Tinubu was quick to touch the forex. I expect that he will remove subsidy from petrol and subsidize forex till Dangote and other refineries start working. By then, forex demands will drop drastically and he would be able to remove forex subsidy too but Bàbá no send anybody oo.
ksmart027: Once cng comes to ph, i am converting my car asap. I think a lot of people don't know cng is hybrid system, and you can easily switch to petrol when the cng is exhausted. If any client load can't fit in the trunk or back seat, the person should request another ride simple. And if eventually i want to sell the car, i will uninstall the kit.
northbird: You are missing the point. He's saying, if renowned car makers ( with R& arms who have budgets running in millions of dollars)side stepping cng and still churning out petrol fueled vehicles in 2024. Why should that be?
Don't forget Toyota n co also produce for African firms and corporations. Na individuals dey buy tokunbo. Most solid firms buy brand new cars for their executives.
I get what you're saying na. Why should they produce when there's no adoption of CNG yet, we don't even have enough filling stations yet, if 80% of African car owners drop petrol today for CNG, what do you think will happen?
When last did you see anybody produce or sell cooking stove that uses kerosene?
Cc Izzou
And when did I become a trouble maker? If no be person wey deliberately skip my name for giveaway, wetin wan cause fight
izzou: You said CNG is safer than petrol.
Gas prices have been rising globally.
So how come Toyota is producing 2024 Land Cruiser on petrol engines? The same for Benz and others
Is it that they are not aware CNG is cheaper and safer?
This has nothing to do with Nigerians yet
Yes CNG is safer than petrol. You already have the stats steering at you. Only Africa and Asia are adopting CNG. Petrol is globally available unlike CNG. You should ask why they are not creating the electric version of these cars instead of petrol versions. You can say it has nothing to do with Nigerians yet but you have to applaud the FG for attempting to drift into something safer and more affordable for Nigerians who cannot afford electric cars.
Disclaimer: If there's actually no subsidy on CNG.
