Even the commentator is confirming that the referees decision was wrong because he focused on the freeze frame and not the actual video which shows the ball hit the body of Reese James before it got his arm.

The Referee was too quick to decide but in actual Sense, James' arm struck out at the end making it look like he did that intentionally. Moreover any handball stopping a goal bound ball is a red card.
