On November 30, Mark Zuckberg and Priscilla Chan welcomed their first child, Max, into the world. Her birth has inspired them to give about 99% of their combined Facebook shares, currently about $45 billion (around ₦90 trillion), away for a philanthropic cause. Our first reaction was... Why would he want to spend all that money on charity? It made us wonder, what would happen if it was a Nigerian that had all these riches. This is what a rich Nigerian would do: 1. His wife would go abroad for her child delivery. So Max can be an automatic citizen of the country. Preferables are UK, America or Canada. Of course the news of her birth would be carried by Bellanaija and Linda Ikeji. 2. After which she'd stay back for some vacation time. He would show his wealth through his child by: 3. First, a baby shower. 4. Then naming ceremony. 5. Next, the child's dedication, if they're Christians. 6. Don't forget the baby's first birthday. All of these parties and ceremonies would of course be lavish. Again, they’d be featured on Bellanaija and Linda Ikeji. Or else, how would people see and know how rich he is? 8. The wife would get a brand new car as 'thank you' from her husband. In addition to others cars she already has. 9. As well as one for himself, for a job well-done. 10. He would invest in landed properties in choice locations. 11. And buy a house in Banana Island. 12. He would also dabble in politics. Either he’d run for office or sponsor someone else and control things from behind the scene. 13. Of course, as public service (or eye service), he would donate to charity, on behalf of his family. But it definitely wouldn't be $45 billion. 20 bags of rice should be enough with all television stations present. http://zikoko.com/gist/mark-zuckerberg/?utm_source=ReviveOldPost&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=ReviveOldPost

President Buhari has extended invitation to popular Nnewi multi Billionaire Ifeanyi Patrick Ubah. Sources close to presidency informed reporters that PMB directed VP Osinbajo to conduct background check on Ifeanyi Ubah so that the current Administration can benefit from his commitment and vibrancy. PMB developed interest in Ifeanyi Ubah the moment he intervened to crush the cabal induced petrol scarcity days leading to the historic handover from GEJ to PMB.Capital oil boss was able to flood the market with PMS and that literally step down the fuel crisis. On his twitter account yesterday evening,Dr Ifeanyi Ubah admitted that the authorities have reached out “partially” to him. After making the proposal to crash dollar rates to 200 naira last Sunday on channelstv, coupled with Mr President refusal and strong warning that he was not going to devalue the naira. http://breakingnews.ng/2016/02/24/breaking-news-buhari-extends-invitation-to-ifeanyi-ubah/ |

I’m not quite sure we understand the indignity that our President is letting himself, and as a result, his office, to be put through. Just so you will understand the disdain with which the Saudis are taking his visit, he was received on arrival in Riyadh by Faisal Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, who happens to be the governor of Riyadh. Imagine, say, Nicolás Maduro, decided to visit Nigeria, and we sent Muhammad Musa Bello to welcome him at the airport? Yes, that’s the implication, a junior member of the Saudi cabinet is who received our President. If you don’t find that to be a calculated insult, then you don’t hold the office of President, Federal Republic of Nigeria to any standard at all. I’m also ashamed that FIVE of our state governors were at the airport to receive Buhari in Saudi Arabia! FIVE! Since when did these men, Amosun, Aregbesola, Masari, Shettima and Yari, become Saudi citizens or officials? Don’t they know their jobs? Osun has not paid staff since God talked to Moses, yet Rauf won’t attempt to figure out a solution to the problem, instead he is going to Saudi Arabia to do otimkpu for Buhari. What is wrong with us? Why are we cursed like this? By the way, I lie, the governor of Riyadh is not even a cabinet member. So, his receiving Buhari is actually the equivalent of Rauf receiving Obama at the airport if Obama ever decides to insult himself with a visit here. Shame on us!
