Nigeria, a population of 150million, can't produce the fastest woman. We here celebrating 5TH. Why do African Americans and Caribbeans do much better than us in Athletics? Jamaica, with a population of just 3million has won more gold in Olympics and world championships than Nigeria with a population of 150million. The annoying bit is that these African-Americans and Caribbeans share the same ancestors with us, same genes, same everything, yet we far off from them in Athletics.
you compare nigeria with those other countries who work hard to get adequate preperations for their athletes probably a year before a major tournament, who appoint round pegs in round hole who totally understand the in and out of good sportmanship to oversee their sporting parastatals administratively to nigeria wereby u find complete misfits eager to syphoon money allocated for sporting developments in the country into their personal bank accounts, square pegs in round hole etc.up blessing for her efforts wishing her better performance next time out.

my candid advice is for you not to completely abandon the admission on ground an go chasing that which might not see the light of the day, as the popular phrase goes by the saying a bird at hand is worth more than a hundred prospective ones in a bush, you could still try that of OOU as a backup.my candid advice is for you not to completely abandon the admission on ground an go chasing that which might not see the light of the day, as the popular phrase goes by the saying a bird at hand is worth more than a hundred prospective ones in a bush, you could still try that of OOU as a backup.

the best way of making the NPF scared is by using violence, when MEND then and boko haram now unleashed violence of hughe proportion the NPF could not dare challenge due to the impotent nature of the force but MASSOB who choose to approach issues the milder way are a punching back for the NPF to show their strenght.

FRCN lied, actually what happened was that a new VC (prof james Epoke) just appointed last year on assumption, increased school fees by 10k. Some students took it and were paying. But just last week thursday the school authority said no school fees payment in full, no examinations and the student will loose the entire session. It didnt go down well with the students on friday night and they protested. The VC came same night and spoke to them and then left.
They continued with the protest. It was when the a student was killed by a security official, that the student went on rampage. Infact the students blocked my street where the university is situated on saturday. To be candid they students destroyed a lot of things, they even went to the staff quarters to destroy their cars.
The school has been closed down for two (2) weeks, starting from last saturday.
It was difficult entering the school to attend a church service inside the campus yesterday. Mobile police men and sodiers now guard the school.
Its unfortunate that the first thing the new VC did was to increase school fees and then went on to say you either pay in full or loose the whole session. May be he thinks everybody in from a wealthy home.
my brother all you've just said is the truth which i was about to confirm to all. i was part of the initial peaceful protest which turned ugly, due to temperamental nature of the unical surveilance internal security who out of stupidness indiscriminately shot directly at a student rather than fire a warning shot on air. That was the ultimate struck on we the students which ignited the aluta continua spirit (kill one kill all) the security officials realizing the gravity of their action ran into tin air so the students had to vent their anger on the school facilities.
