Internships are excellent opportunities for young graduates considering a career in development to gain experience in field work. We provide challenging assignments, and applicants are expected to possess maturity, character, initiative and self-reliance as well as outstanding academic credentials and problem solving skills.

As a graduate field intern at Dataville Research, you receive tailored training, guidance and real responsibility from the beginning, quickly becoming an invaluable candidate in the global development sector.

Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to provide positions for in-house internship in our various offices across Africa however, we are pleased to announce the commencement of our innovative virtual internship programme where the participant (intern) gains field experience while working in a remote professional setting and is not physically present at any of Dataville Research offices.

Download the Graduate Internship Programme Application Form via http://datavillegroup.com/get-involved/ to apply.

Training at www.datavillegroup.com isn't just focused around academic research. It also centers around the context of international development which include field surveys and monitoring and evaluation.

I was able to learn practical research design and instrument development (questionnaires, focused group discussion and key informant information),mobile data collection and data analysis.

These skills have helped me freelanced with some NGOs and it's been worth it.

Recently the below thread made frontpage here on nairaland specifically on 29 June, 2017

https://www.nairaland.com/3888681/16-signs-may-hiv-without

So many views with a paltry 3 page comments.

Having read through the post, I became restless and began to ask myself what ifs questions.

Should the worse happens, how would I my family, friends and girlfriend react?

What would this new chapter of life be like?

The next day I rushed to a med lab and asked for HIV test. They took my blood sample and went to the lab while I waited at the reception.

My heart raced like Usain Bolt. The probability of being infected is 0.5. Statistically very significant.

The labie showed up with the result. Handed it to me. I acted normal and sighted 'negative'.

I urge everyone reading this post to follow suit.
