Between the last time we had a conversation and now, my immediate younger brother has moved from an above 200k job to an above 700k job. Last time we spoke, he told me he's never doing any job that pays in naira again.

Our last born who recently graduated has also moved from a 70k job to a 155k job and there's no end in sight to how many other jobs with better pay he's still going to get.

People who know what they are doing and have the cash to support are even applying and getting 50-100k pound jobs in UK right from Nigeria. The only reason they can do that is because of the experience they gathered from those salary job.

I know someone who started his career in the internal audit department of a bank here in Nigeria as an ET. He moved to a big four audit firm from there and is now in a sister audit firm in UK today. The entire thing happend between 2018 and 2022. He started with a little over 150k in Nigeria, today he earns multiple times that amount. The sky is his limit. Can you show us one single uber driver with that level of increase in earnings?

You can say these are exceptions. Can you show us one single uber driver who now makes multiple times the amount he used to make driving uber?

That is why you cannot and should not compare the two. From where I'm standing, it's apples and oranges

Pearl is a very simple, generous, gentle and God fearing man. He can sacrifice and will go out of his way even to assist a stranger.
Man underplays his achievements, he always says avoid the urge to shalaye...so he will only tell u what u needed to know, he doesn't boast or brag and until u know him u will not understand his simplicity. He can lay under car with mechanic and relates with his staff like colleagues. U will not even know he is the boss. All he says here is nothing short of the truth, he has set up alot of people and changed lives...many of which are not on Nairaland to testify. His own is to tell people that care to listen that ehailing is an option. If u r willing to take it seriously, it will change ur life. He has no reason to lie or garnish anything.
People always have different opinion so they are bound to disagree but disagreement on opinion shouldn't turn to personal hate or quest to bring another man down.
