16inchdick: The work is stressful sha from calculations cheerful would make a Profit of 500k while your earnings you posted there a profit of 600k let's say you work 26days in a month. The hours one has to put on to make this is very killing what I could decipher it's possible you guys are working close to an average of 15hrs/day to make such I could also see cheerful giver closes work by 10pm or 11pm in the night mehn it's stressful and risky Na God go punish all these e-hailing apps Indriver is a little bit better since they take only 10percent
N:b I no even put maintenance for the month for that money ooooooo
Na only if person dey use better tokunbo then won't spend much on maintenance CheerfulGiver may be averaging 15hrs per day for that his dashboard. But you see that Gabrinchi own? It won't be less than 18 - 20hrs per day. |

Viking07: I agree 100% with this. But e-hailing is not something you want to spend the rest of your life doing. Especially if it is your ONLY source of income. There are so many dynamics. By all means I’d continue to encourage anyone involved to please have a 2nd income, it doesn’t matter how little. Pearl1910 is a good example of diversification. If one door closes you should have another door on standby. I am very sure even Mr Cheerful also have his own side gig. Funny enough it was his dashboard that got me into this hustle.
Yesterday on my way to the airport, I had a serious accident involving 6 cars after one useless bread seller decided to drive one way at high speed, 4 cars were severely damaged(tumbled upside down), two of us were lucky because 1, we were not on high speed and 2, God just took over my steering I was able to avoid about 3 cars before the final impact. I just parked jeje and called my mechanic . I’ve spent approximately N156,000 between yesterday and this morning. I’ll be picking up my car in few hours. My bumper, headlights, radiator, condenser, bonnet were all damaged. Las Las my insurance company go still refund me sha. Sorry bro. Within 2 Weeks you've spent almost 400k fixing your car. This what we're talking about. Imagine someone without insurance, who's driven for 8months and has managed to save about 500k within this time. The money would just finish and the person is back to square one. Someone drove for 10days the other day and he's already feeling like an experienced uber driving expert. I wanted to quote him, but he would not get my point. Sorry once again brother. |

Viking07: I’m just 7 months into this “hustle” and what my eyes have seen.
Maybe years back the hustle pays, good pricing etc. but now mehn e don cast. We still see 300 naira trips here in Abuja.
Bolt price has remained unchanged since inception regardless of the over 100% inflation in this country. No matter how anyone wants to sugarcoat it, this hustle is just for petty expenses. Welcome to reality bro. |

northbird: How many years will it take to recoup 5m naira.? 35k weekly. ....it will take 143 weeks to get 5m. 2 years and 9months.
There is no driver that can drive for 143 weeks non stop. It's impossible. Something has to give in, : either the car or the body.
Now if he gets the capital @ ₦3.5m to be used in buying a corrolla and he sits down and hibernates properly. He stands a better chance of hitting 5m in 143 weeks doing business than running around Lagos like a rabbit with Bolt. Thank you. |

Viking07:
I thank God for my job honestly. If not how bolt wan give me 200k wey I spend in 1 week fixing my car after my top gasket burnt? How many bolt drivers fit comfortably boast of having 200k cash in their account? Na after I join a group I know say majority are just surviving on loans. Last week one guy in the group was looking for 10k loan make he use pay bolt commission.
The best way to enjoy this hustle is by keeping your operational costs very very low. If you can save up & get a car of 900k-1.2m, it is way better than hp car of 5m. Anybody wey fall for the eldorado stories here about buying cars in 3yrs OYO. My dear brother Viking07. Are you really the one that typed this? Abi person borrow your phone from you? I remember your early days here, when guys were advising people on finding alternatives as soon as possible and you were on the team that was praising Bolt and how profitable it is. I remember when we tried to warn intending drivers to tread carefully, that the dashboard displays here doesn't correlate with the reality of the job, but you countered us and claimed we are rather discouraging people for no just course. You claimed you're a part-time driver but you make over 300k per month. Yet you couldn't afford 200k to fix your car from bolt? That your main hustle have you bail you out? Mehn!!!! Time is the only constant. You people claimed that a devoted driver can comfortably save 250 to 300k per month. That's about 3.6m per year and 10.8m in 3years, yet you and most of them in your team including pearl1910 are the ones discouraging someone from taking a car on HP for 5m. I just dey observe una. I'll say it again for those that need to hear. If you're a young graduate intending to enter this Uber business, please try and have an exit plan as soon as possible. One truth I can tell you is that the job can sustain you and help you raise some funds for any other plan you have. If you ever enter without a plan, believe me, you will get trapped and you may end up regretting like Muhammadson is currently doing. People have been attacking him, but I totally understand his points and reasons for his outburst. Even though he's passing his message wrongly. Again!!! Have an exit plan from the get go. Never depend on the hustle completely, otherwise, the little money you'll be making will distract you from any major career plan you had. And you may later come back here after 7yrs to attack people. Just as Muhammadson is current doing. |

pope191: Growing up I wonder why people do that... but I've come to understand it is a cold and greedy world out here. Human just want to evolve and dance along the tides. Same reason we try to fight nature and never want to grow old. It is normal for the woman body not to be banging after years, while alhaji with the gold tooth sees Nkechi Blessing back side while doing early morning walkout in tight (remember we are not move by emotions like women, but sight) and he remembered how agile he used to be during his prime. Barbiturate: I was at onipanu when this girl ordered a ride from Yaba, on Indriver.. Got there before the time elapsed. Called her 7 times she didn't pick. There was also no place to park at the PU. I moved to the other side to find a place to park. Called her again, she didn't pick. I tried to cancel but Indriver said I've moved from PU. I just left it like that and started using bolt. Its bn like that since afternoon. She has canceled from her end. That's one bad side of indriver. Once you've clicked on the arrived button, You won't be notified if the rider cancels the ride. |

Pearl1910: It's subjective...but I don't think the percentage of cheating married men is that high.
For every 10 married men I know, maybe 4 or 5 is capable of or believes in cheating. Out of the 5, maybe 3 would seek an opportunity or would actually cheat given the opportunity. So you only believe that about 30% of married men cheat. |

pope191: I don't belief in religious tenets, as almost all human fault in life regardless of how religiosity they try to sound or act(that's why we have forgiveness). More lack personal conviction, lack of opportunity and respect/regard for the husband/woman in question.
There's nothing that chains a man in the life than personal conviction. Are you chained or free, within that his analysis? |
