Which data are you people even talking about? I'm talking about when you buy a new phone and insert MTN sim you get a text saying congratulations your line will receive double data for the next 6 months. I got it since 3 months ago and I've been receiving the double data as they said.

You're saying what you heard. Do you have a gionee phone? I'm using Gionee S6s so I'm talking from experience.

But it seems Gionee batteries are not so good. They start dropping usage time after 2 or 3 months.

Some users on GSMArena said it's not Amoled display, it has gorilla screen but unspecified version so not sure whether it's gorilla 3,4 or 5 but it's surely gorilla Glass. Cos me too, any phone without gorilla screen is a no no .

If you subscribe within 3 days of expiration of current plan, this shouldn't be a surprise na afterall that's what they said from onset. Let's hear from those that didn't have active data plan like 2 weeks ago that subscribed now.

We all know Airtel, even if they give you 10gb on paper, just know that you won't use up to 3gb in real life. As for MTN cutting their double data to 20%, it's a fat lie. It's still 100% and I subscribed like 3 or 4 days ago.

2. How much was a SIM before Glo came?

3. MTN lied per second billing was impossible till 2007. Glo introduced it immediately in 2004 and MTN backtracked

4. Impossibly low data prices relative to other companies.

5. It was frustrated by fellow Nigerians who made them pay licensing fees TWICE ($10 million USD)
