No windows phone is not dead but just experiencing transition time. Just like any Operating system that fills left behind. Have you ever imagine using the same version of applications in your desktop computers in your smartphone. If you have used a windows phone you will notice there are only two things to complain about the platform. The 1st on the list is lack of applications and better integration of applications with the OS. That is what windows 10 is for, and it's coming along with continuum. The lumia line may be dead but Microsoft New smartphone will be call surface Pro. Just like nexus and pixel smartphone from Google Android. Every OEM manufacturers is waiting to take advantage of windows10.

So when is Microsoft coming out with its next dead on arrival boring Surface Pro?

Some months back I talked about how Windows OS was for Old people, those that are not really interested in technology, market men and women who are just after making and receiving calls.
Some Windows OS users came and blabbed and defended their boring, lazy, unintuitive and uninspiring platform called Windows phones.
Fast forward October 2016, things are even worse for that OS, hardly do I see real human beings using any phone with Windows logo on it. So my concerns this morning is, have those things finally become obsolete?

Yea saves pages for offline reading.

Yes. Chrome all the way. It's cleaner, renders webpages better and faster in my opinion. It just gets the job done.

But it crashes too often. Very annoying.

I just can't imagine myself using uc browser. I can't stand the UI. Maybe because I don't download stuff with my phone.

I think UC browser is the best on Android. The browser UI is simple, clean dnd friendly. Navigation through pages is effortless and like breeze. It has data saving capabilities, fast downloads and can block all those annoying ads. However, when I use Glo on my phone, this beautiful browser that I love so much stops browsing. Right now I'm looking for another browser that's close to or better than UC browser.
Abi is there anybody that knows how to make it work with Glo?

The phone looks good really. Op is that back cover made of metal? Is it non removable? Does it have led notification light?

One thing I love about this Glo 4G is that their data plans are just like the other ones. Simply amazing.
I think Glo should quickly dot all the 'I's and cross all the 'T's to rise and take number one spot in Nigeria. They're indigenous.

This latest data increment from glo is pure fraud and I wud dump dem and return to my etisalat. I have been enjoying glo data since january without any issue, quite fast and reliable in Warri. My 2GB always carry me for upto 24 days. I subscribed this new data on Saturday, and believe me, I now have only 1GB remaining, my data has being flying like magic, just only facebook, nairaland and emails. This is bad.

Well, we won't judge by just your opinion. Have you checked your data counter to know exactly how much data you've used and compare with what's remaining?

It was never unlimited.

Mr I used it. Etisalat was unlimited in 2012/2013, mtn at that time was unlimited too.

And later you paid 1k for unlimited downloads on bb, then it came to 5gb, then 3gb while we were given 200mb for that same 1k.

I know about the A5 2016. It has better battery than the s6 but slightly under powered. If you are a gamer and played high graphics games with your s6, you may find the a5 not so good. But if it's normal day to day use, then it's good. As for the HTC, haven't used or seen one b4 but I believe A5 should be better than the htc.

Crazy glo just increased their bb sub frm 1k4 to 1500 wit out informing us.

In life, things constantly change. About 2-3 yrs ago, blackberry subscription was the bomb__ cheap and big data cap. We android users suffered and cried bitterly then. Now the tables are turning.

It's obvious some of the mods here are from Kenya.

But why do people sell one week old phones?

No I think you're mistaking. NCC published that Glo has the highest number of ACTIVE DATA subscribers, not that they have overall highest subscribers.
