I'm not a fan of rooting so I didn't do that. But as for stress free updates, all u need is download lg pc suite to pc, connect the phone and check for updates.

No you didn't quite get it. This is not a tariff plan, it's called Akanchawa recharge. You load only N100 with *311*pin# and it converts to 11 or 10mins calls, about 10sms and 4mb data. If it finishes you can't recharge it again until the last recharge is up to 7 days. It's a good deal, I was using it before, but now I think I have a better plan,

..the only good thing about this hotnote and pro is just the ba3...thats all...which some are people are complaining about the ba3

It's not a scam. But I think some people have lost the definition of give always. You pay 3.5k for 9gb that u'll be charged 2kb/kb ie double billing and somebody is calling it give away. I don't seem to understand some people.
