Havertz10:I didn't know you also watched John Oliver. I do like the guy very much. He informs on a wide range of issues. |
swiz123:This is due to widespread ignorance. There is no "strange thing" happening in Africa that is different from any other "strange thing" in any other part of the world. We just choose to have docile minds and be largely ignorant. |
Havertz10:The bolded sentence is very wrong. You should know that atheism is not a religion. Atheists do not share a commonly held belief rather a rejection of belief systems. |
Amoto94:One can't stress this enough. Tuchel has more than proven himself and shown that he deserves an extended time to fully implement his vision. I do hope that our reactionary fan base will remember this when he needs it. After we lost the cup final, you could see that some Chelsea fans had already started whispering as to how Tuchel was a serial bottler. I hope we can all get behind the man fully, especially when things go momentarily bad. |
This is wonderful!! Thank you Chelsea. Thank you tuchel. |
donstan18:And soo it begins. You will see people who would be needlessly loyal to a player start blaming the coach. ![]() |
CSTRR:Mount has obvious potential and I believe that with time it will materialize. However, it hasn't. which is why it is illogical to have picked him as our player of the season. It makes the club appear mediocre, quite frankly. It would have been better given to a defender or a midfielder. Our defense have been the foundation for our "success" this season, not the attack. Which lends credence to the narrative that maybe mason mount is being overhyped. He's good but certainly not good enough to be considered Chelsea's best player throughout the season. That's a fallacy. |
Raalsalghul:The funny thing is that both have lacked consistency over the course of the season. Both their stats are massively underwhelming and they both need to improve. Its quite painful seeing people pick one over the other when clearly they have both underperformed and could do better. I do hope they gain consistency next season and bank on their potential. |
donstan18:You really need to tamp down the overhype. He's okay, not "too good". |
Its unbelievable we aren't ahead by now. We've had Soo many good chances. |
We better start converting these chances. |
That was a gilt edged chance. |
Mr dictionary. Also muscle man. |
BlueMann: |
I don't know what all these fuss is all about. Jorginho is definitely 100% at fault for that goal but then again, these kind of forced defensive errors are expected to occur once in a while towards teams that love building their attacks from deep. Teams that usually pass out from the back are expected to run into these problems from time to time especially when they face teams who effectively maintain Frontline pressure. It has happened to Barca severally this season, even Bayern. Don't forget that our comeback win against mancity last week was initiated upon from forced defensive errors in their own half too. My point is that it happens. It would be troubling if it was recurrent, but as our defensive record shows this season, this is clearly an anomaly. One which is unlikely to happen anytime soon again. We move.... |
Mount and jorginho are really not in the game right now. |
Hopefully, we show good resilience as a big team and come back like we did last week. |
wman:He's good but still has consistency issues. His end product is also lacking. I do think he would improve on that in the immediate future. He can definitely do better than his stats suggests. |
So far I think that our player-of-the-season should be mendy. His immediate impact on our defence cannot be overstated. I don't think any of our attackers deserves that award seeing as their numbers are quite paltry. Our attack is actually one of the weakest among the top teams in Europe this season. I think our progress so far has been built upon the strength of the defence and as such our ever-reliable man there is mendy,so I do think that he should be our player of the season. Kante could also have been a potential contender but seeing as he missed significant part of the season with kovacic playing in his place and the rotation affecting some other players I do think that mendy is our player of the season. |
Obrigardo:May God bless you so much. You're doing such a wonderful job by publishing this expose. please I beg you to keep it up, you don't know how valuable this is. |
Amoto94:Fantastic foresight you've got there. As for me, I called him a relatively unknown person and as of then he was. It's fair to say he no longer is. He has shown the world the stuff he's made of. i still feel iffy about our board and their characteristic shenanigans. They need to act now and give Tuchel his long term contract and stick to it. He has undoubtedly shown that he deserves it. You don't win the top 5 coaches in world football by luck or chance. He has shown a shrewd and uncanny ability to play to each players strength and set them up tactically to complement themselves. The board needs to back him up and give him the players he asks for and most importantly stand by him when his bad spell comes. Trust in him to get us back to this very moment we are. This moment where we look and feel invincible. TRUST is the keyword. We must not be reactionary. Tuchel has shown himself to be a rare gem. Hopefully we keep him this time and make a legend out of him. |
Really nice video. The magic peter Drury. https://www.facebook.com/SuperSportFootball/videos/506305347048080/ |
A preview of what to come. You've got to give it to PES though for their graphics. Absolutely topnotch. Better than FIFA. https://www.facebook.com/pesmeofficial/videos/751973872154989/ |
HewlettPackard:Let me now calm down to reply this unnecessary verbiage. First of all, my anger then was geared towards the management for their sheer deceit towards the fans. After all, they did promise to embark on a long term project with lampard and then dumped him at the first bad spell. Never you forget that lampard did after all supercede expectations last season and for some spells earlier this season, did make chelsea look unbeatable until that unfortunate inexplicable slump in form. And most importantly, cultured our best youths on the biggest stages. In hindsight, the managements decision seem to be a good decision seeing as Tuchel has won us over with with his tactically astute and well organized team set-up. But one can't still help but wonder what happens when that dreaded slump or bad spell comes. This is football. Every team no matter how good is assured of having bad spells at a certain point. Even if Tuchel wins us the FA cup and the champions league this season, will that save him enough credit in the bank when that time comes?? As a chelsea fan, you truly cannot answer that question. Liverpool are still having a bad spell, yet they stuck with their manager. Man city had a bad spell earlier in the season, yet they rightly stuck with their manager. Likewise united. I'll repeat what I said months ago. Being a chelsea fan can be pretty emotionally intensive. Almost every biannual season, we go from an absolute high to an absolute depth. A cycle that always triggers a managerial change, which of course is very sad seeing as the outgoing manager must have won us over with his preceding efforts. It involves us having to start from scratch everytime. I yearn and wish for stability. The board needs to be clear eyed when hiring a manager. They need to be sure of what they're getting into and the achievable targets for their new recruits. For instance, they knew lampard was a rookie but they hired him on the basis of granting him enough time to; play good football, nurture our academy players and SUBSEQUENTLY win trophies. Half way down, they betrayed that promise. Likewise sarri. They start a process and never give the project time to materialize. I am very happy with Tuchel now for his efforts. All of us can agree that he has set-up a team that is now very hard to beat. A team that now shows and holds a lot of promise for the future. And my most fervent hope and prayer is that we remember these moments very well when he is at his lowest and trust him and give him a chance to reproduce these moments. |
Could we not do this tonight?? Please both players are good and have both made substantial efforts to take us to the finals. Let's celebrate all our players tonight. No need for the endless bickering over both our players. I believe that ultimately, we all wish them well and hope they come good. |
This is beautiful!!!! Tears in my eyes. We are going to the mothafucking_ ucl finals!!! Wonderful beautiful Chelsea. Tuchel, I love you soooo fucking_ much. 5 more years for you!!! |
Just 10 more minutes to the UEFA champions league finals. Come on boys!!!! |
And so the pressure begins. We have to defend with our lives these last ten minutes. |
We no even miss kovacic one bit. That's how good we've been. |
I really love our high press. Destabilizing madrid. Them confuse. ![]() |
Another golden chance missed. Hmmm. Make our luck no run out ooo. It has to be said that chelsea have been spectacular so far. Let's just see this out boys. |
