You guys who keep dissing Jorginho should really appreciate his role in our team. Our midfielders were simply unable to recycle the ball and it cost us possession and invited immense pressure, something that jorginho makes to look very easy.
People will say it's just sideways and backwards pass not knowing that he's actually recycling the ball at our base efficiently ensuring we deny the opponents the ball. I hope in time we learn this lesson sha.

Another subpar performances from our flagship duo, havertz and mount. They continue to be our worse attacking outlets anytime they come on.
We really should stop idolizing this duo. They are certainly not worth it at the moment.

Tuchel keeps doing his best. Injuries, the internationals and other factors forced his selection changes. Nice they all pulled through in the end. His system enables players slot in easily. Let's see our best at the UCL later in the week.

What our attackers now do with the ball is their business. His primary role is recycling of the ball. Chelsea have maintained possession well, we simply haven't used it well.
Every possession team will want jorginho. Teams like Barca, mancity and Bayern will want jorginho.

Mount is very similar to Wilian. They mask their selfishness with hardwork. Willian will never pass the ball once he cuts inside his right foot; just when you will want to complain about it, he has already started deceiving supporters by either making aimless runs with the ball or chasing an opposition winger or full back at full throttle.

We actually need that hardwork against mancity during the weekend. It's actually better than havertz who plays with an absolute lack of urgency.

While mount makes very poor decision in the final third, havertz usually takes a lot of time before making a decision.

Another problem i have with both of them is their very poor skill set. They can't dribble at all!! They always rely on passes to beat defenders. Their take-ons are usually very bad.
I've noticed that even Lukaku can delete players and dribble better than them. If you have wingers who can't dribble and take on players, you're bound to suffer. That's why people prefer pulisic and Hudson to them. We're crying out for dribblers with better end product.

Again, we cannot continue to waste time debating havertz vs mount when both of them are just plain shite.
Secondly, We don't need our wing-forward to be known for "hardwork". That's the primary job of the midfielders. How have we not learnt from the willian experience. A winger for a top club who spent more than 7 years with them averaging 8 goals a season and deceiving us with "hardwork".
Hazard was sometimes a "lazy" player but he kept delivering the goods via key chance creations, assisting and scoring.

The primary functions of a wing-forward is to score and assist. Both these players are currently useless and inconsistent in doing that.
None is better than the other. They are both competing between themselves for who is more useless. We should bash two of them EQUALLY. Not one over the other when they're both poor.

This elusive 3rd goal that would have carried us to the top.

Tuchel is certainly one of the best coaches in the game. See how his tactical changes positively impacted the game for us.
Mount and havertz have to give way for pulisic and Hudson or ziyech. They are not in their correct headspace right now.

There is no successful strong team that relied solely on their striker for sustained success. You had teams forward lines like BBC and MSN etc. Our supporting cast needs to chip in with their own contributions. Our other attackers like mount, havertz, ziyech etc are not pulling their weight.

The 4 players behind Lukaku need to step up their game in terms of their chance creation and goal involvements. The two number 10s and the wingbacks need to be quicker and more precise in their decision making. I'm not talking about just this game.This is a damning statistic : Lukaku has scored the most goals for Tuchel at Stamford Bridge (3 goals) than anyone on this team and he has only played only 2 games at SB. The other boys need to up their game. Hard to win the big trophies with one man scoring more than 80-90% of the goals.
