Jakpon: Ali Modu Sheriff, the former Governor of Borno state was the founder and financier of Boko Haram before the group went bersek.
Mohammed Yusuf, Abubakar Shekau, Mamman Nur, Kabiru Sokoto, Abu Qaqa etc were once on his paylist. The last time we checked, Ali Modu Sheriff is now with the PDP
According to you,Ali Modu Sherrif founded Boko Haram, but the report above said that,Opposition party, whose interest is to grab power in 2015,are the one's oiling boko haram now,to use them and achieve their objective.of course you know Modu Sherrif isn't running for presidency, then who are those in opposition, that their interest are being served,if not those who are angling to grab thd top position in 2015?
Again,Modu Sherrif, has proven himself to be free from the further oiling of boko haram operations,by dissociating himself, from the gang of power mongering monsters, who are the supposed opposition, that are oiling boko haram. He left APC,because of that.
PoliticsRe: Can North Survive Again Looking At These Statistics by Donmarrius: 8:54am On Aug 27, 2014
The only solution,to the problem of the north,is the gospel of Christ, which is the gospel of redemption.Unfortunately, the gods of this earth, has blind folded them, and made them enemy of this truth. But i pray for them, that the gospel of Christ, will have free cause,in there land, that they in turn, will experience liberty, that the gospel brings.

Yes,their isn't any hope for this aborminable contraption called Nigeria.
Those shouting One Nigeria, should go and start from Northeast Nigeria.

For APC supporters, read that report again and again, you should be ashamed of yourselves, for identifying with the 'opposition party',whose politicians, are the sponsors of this injustice against humanity.

Idrismusty97: .....But at what cost? It is like fighting with another man and you lost all your limbs even as a winner. Your life would never be the same again, the scars would remained forever! Israel would rather aviod a fight with Iran even if they know they would emerged as winners basically because of the full backings they got from Europe, America and the entire West. But note, if Russia step in the outcome would be different. Russia is still contemplating on becoming an ally of Iran. They decision would greatly make a huge impact in the middle east.
Spare me the cost stuff!
War is war!
But who wins,is the one,who was able to recover from the done-damages,and relaunch attacks, and over-run the later.that's why 'he' is a winner.
Israel has both the weaponry, the defensive mechanism, the resources, and more especially the allies,to help them, before, during and after the war.
The issue of at what cost, should be directed to iran, and not Israel.perharps you read about the 'rebuilt of Israel, after the Nazi movement'.lets i forget,US uptill date, still fund Israel.
Russia,if you aware of recent happenings, actions are on top gear,to cut-size Russia, even as the UN,has wooled sanctions on her eyes.

Idrismusty97: This isn't your average Palestinian vs Israel brouhaha. Gaza is a very densely populated area roughly the size of Lagos, they used bombs that can hardly kill a cat against Israel while israel used highly sophisticated weapons, bombarding tiny gaza from Land, air and sea! Iran is a different ballgame entirely...Iran have surface to air missiles, they have jets, warships and lot of weapons that can match that of Israel. Iran is a country not a tiny region. Yes! Israel will win Iran in a war but at what costs? Those two countries will completely destroy themselves. Israel last resorts will be the Nukes,If Iran doesn't acquire theirs soon that would give Israel the upper hand. Anyway, Whatever the outcome they would be no winner in reality.
Good you know Israel will win Iran!!!.
Another area you foreclosed,is the would-be role,of the invisible hands of the veto-power blocks,which you quite know,is Israeli's allies,the US,the UK,and what have you.
Israel,is the eyes and hand of the US,in the middle east,a defeat on Israel,is a pooh on America. That's why,the world even the UN,ably influenced by Israeli major ally the US,is standing akimbo,as the leveling of Gaza is ungoing, courtsey of Israel,(though won't blame Israel).
Foreign AffairsRe: Breaking: Iran Shoots Down ‘israeli Drone’ At Nuclear Site by Donmarrius: 6:36pm On Aug 24, 2014
Bluetooth2: If Israel can own nuclear weapon without being a signatory to the non-proliferation treaty, why can't Iran and North korea own ?

The fear that the so called rogue states will nuke Israel to justify Israel's acquisition of nuclear weapon is the same reason why syria, Iran and North korea are so keen on arming themselves with nuclear weapon in order to deter any nuclear attack.

The world needs those state to maintain balance of power because nuclear deterrence has proved not to be a suitable solution to eradicate wars among states.
Imagine arming Jim of 31yrs with Nuclear weapon!.
Imaggine allowing Syria to acquire nuclear weapon, with her numerous militias,ISIS inclusive!
Imagine Iran with her numerous muslim extremists, being armed with nuclear weapon, without measures,to curtail their excesses.
For record purpose,i have been a global player,in the cause for the advancement of world peace.May not be a major player for now,but am doing it harder, and i have got nothing to prove to you, either you belief,or you get going.forget my tribal unslaught here, nairaland made me assume that posture, but in real life,.....
What am saying is that,i have been oppurtuned to have access to some classified information,as regards why UN is mounting pressure,on the afore-mentioned countries, part of which i have indirectly relayed to you.
So,any man that wishes our world peace, should grossly reject the proliferation of nuclear weapons, let alone by those countries with porous military, and strong militias.

Does isreal think Iran is Palestine?
you are now applauding Iran, for shooting down Israeli drone.Trust Israel, they knows how to pay back,in greater measures.Ask me why i dropped my Action Letter to the UN,at the pick of Israel's action of Gaza.well, your guess is as good as mine.

PoliticsRe: Creation Of "Oil River State" From Akwa-ibom And Rivers State by Donmarrius: 3:44pm On Aug 22, 2014
ujoinme: Akwa Ibom is one. our eastern obolo and ibeno brothers also know that no matter the state they go to they will still be minorities and especially after the marginalization they suffered in the hands of our Ijaw brothers during the sharing of the Amnesty empowerment for ex militants. They already know how they will be treated in an ijaw majority state.

At least in Akwa Ibom they have learnt how to navigate the murky waters of the political space in the state to get what they want as minorities rather than learn all afresh with a new group. They say the devil you know is better than a "friend" you cant understand. And this year the gov. of the state has been zoned to Eket senatorial zone where they belong so they stand a chance producing the next gov. from that zone who will correct or address any perceived injustice that the oil bearing areas have faced.

The Ibibios are democratic in nature unlike some other majority groups in Nigeria that oppress the minorities case in point the current governor is a minority and became governor because the state zoned it to his senatorial zone The ibibios supported it.
Of the six ethnic groups in Akwa Ibom its only the Ibibios that have the numbers/ population to win an election without the support of any other group but they don't use their numbers to bully or necessary hug onto power.

Akwa ibom has six ethnic groups : Ibibio, Annang, Oro,Ekid, obolo, and Ibeno. there is no ijaw land in Akwa Ibom. Ibibio, ekid, oro and ijaw are part of the people groups found in Eastern obolo and ibeno LGA's hence it will be very difficult to excise those regions because even though the obolos and ibeno are the majority in their LGA but their LGAs are not homogenous, they also have minority ibibio(from Ikot abasi and mkpat enin ), ekid, oro and ijaws in their LGAs
My brother,i beg to disagree on one point, which is marginalization.
Let me say this, marginalizaition isn't a prime factor,in Oil politics of balkanization/divide-and-rule,but greed and interest.
Read what Pazienza and Igboson are saying,to understand what is called oil politics.
1.If this military,am sorry,Akwa ibom has already lost ibeno, like Imo lost part of Oil Egbema to rich Egbema,to Rivers state.now we have Egbema in both Imo & Rivers.
2.Its in UN charter, for people to have the right,to decide who they want to be.So,what those whose "interest" is to annex the oil rich part of AKS will do,is just to look for greedy ibeno people, especially the vocal ones, and promise them top positions in the would be oil rivers state, and also promise them oil wells.then you will see how it plays out.you will see how they will denounce any link to AkS,and they will falsify lies of how their fathers and grandfathers migrated from Ijaw, and own Ibeno, and how ibibios/ekid/efik,etc.has been marginalizing them, and that they want to join their kins in the proposed oil rivers state. At that point,"it is their inalienable human right,to determine where they want to belong".where their is opposing views among them, referrendum will be conducted,to determine popular view.Hence,Akwa ibomites won't have a say.

But let me congratulate the letter from Ibeno people, that i saw here.I feel happy, that they have choosen brotherliness over greed and oil.Oil will soon finish, even as its value is gradually but steadily waning away,at the global energy market, which is the reason for its downward price, but brotherliness, will forever abide.KUDOS TO IBENO PEOPLE.
Should Nigeria divide, which is just a question of time, those who deny their brothers, will suffer slavery,in the hand of strangers.I LOVE AKWA IBOM.THEY ARE MY INLAW!

Guardian News:
Written by Terhemba
Daka and Karls Tsokar,

Akwa Ibom delegates
protest creation of 'Oil
Rivers State'

FORMER Governor of Akwa
Ibom State, Obong Victor
Attah, former minister of
Lands and Survey, Chief
Nduese Essien and other
Akwa Ibom State
delegates to the National
Conference have protested
against the
recommendation of the
Conference to create "Oil
Rivers State" from the
present Akwa Ibom and
Rivers states.
In a protest letter
addressed to the Chairman
of the conference, the 13
delegates from the state
said the provision is now
contained on Page 4, Line
11 of the "Draft
Constitution" produced by
the Conference secretariat.
According to the delegates
from the oil-rich state, the
proposed plan to
dismember some parts of
Akwa Ibom state to form
an "Oil Rivers state" is not
only treacherous but
amounts to a hidden
agenda by people whose
aim might be to scuttle
the final outcome of the
Conference.
"This action is at variance
with the Conference
decision of the Committee
on Restructuring and
Forms of Government. The
conference decision as
correctly reflected on Page
281 (b) of the draft report
was that 'the third state to
be created in the South-
South zone will be named
later along with its state
capital'.
"This inclusion is a slight
of hand, unholy and
completely unacceptable
to us as there was no prior
discussion with Akwa
Ibom state and her
delegates on the matter,"
part of the letter read.
The group said, although
it was not against the
creation of more states
where deserving, the
process should be in
consultation with all
relevant stakeholders.
"As the true
representatives of our
state and people at this
conference, we have been
mandated to reject totally
and disassociate ourselves
and our state completely
from this provision. We
assert that no part of
Akwa Ibom state should
be excised to form a new
state", the letter further
reads.
